I want to be able to enable a kinda glove mode where you dont need to touch the screen just be right above it

Not strictly a question so i figured i'd put it here.
Hi guys - I dropped my phone and now there is a crack from the bottom of the screen leading up to the dock. The screen's touch does not work up to here but works fine above this level (above the level of the dock)
Has anyone else experienced this and how did you overcome it?
e.g. is there a tool to reside the screen or a way of moving the on screen buttons?
Please share anything that you have learnt!

Hi!
First of all, I do not know if it is an appropriate place to ask such a question, but I have not found any better place.
The point is, that I need to specify with an appropriate scale, that a capacitive screen can be used with gloves on hands. For example, I can say that something is heavy, because its weight is over 10 kilograms. I have to specify the ability of operating on a capacitive screen with gloves on in a similar way.
As far as I know, the sensitivity of touch screen is based on the capacitance of capacitors built within the screen. Am I right? Is it, what makes the high sensitivity mode in i9505 possible? If so, what capacitance should allow the screen to recognise a touch through a glove?
A strange question it is, I know ;D
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
I have the SM-G901F version of the S5.
It seems as though the screen is very sensitive as I can use it with the tip of my nail or a card (like a bank card)
I have increase touch sensitivity DISABLED. I've tried enabling it and there's no change in sensitivity.
It's not a major problem as I don't wear super tight jeans or anything, I just want to know if this is normal?...
Also, I can't efficiently control it with a normal pen however (writing pen, not a stylus), only some touches get registered with the sensitivity setting enabled/disabled.
Doesn anyone know if you can adjust the Screen Sensitivity on the Nexus Phones to allow a "glove mode" ?
Here's how to enable your glove to work with a smartphone. Either use a stylus, or try something similar to this: http://www.instructables.com/id/Making-A-Glove-Work-With-A-Touch-Screen/
Hey guys, my nexus 4 display is broken on the top with touchscreen defection.
So i just wonder if there is any way to install a one handed mode to make the display area smaller to make it work.
Please any solutions?
