Actually I didn't..
Not sure what's important to include, and what's not.
I can create another backup if you want, with the EFS. But it'll take about 4 to 5 hours to upload. this is the only issue.

Include system, data, boot, and that should be good to restore a phone back to stock. Please do not include the efs as that contains your imei and personal stuff like that.

Then the file I sent is good. because it includes the system, data and boot, and it doesn't include the EFS.
There is no need to recreate it.

[Q] Installing I9505G Google Play Edition rom on a I337M

Hi i just get one new SGH-I337M from Telcel im intersting in the lates google edition rom after looking in the forums I saw two post with this roms (iB4STiD and yeahmann), but a friend of mine gave a link in which they install a "I9505-GoogleEdition4.3" on a I337M, after this, the new model is GT-I9505G in the device info (videotutorial), so my question: is it recommended to install this rom even in a different model??? because in all the post they say use only with certain model cheers!

to be safe i would use the one for your phone model.
well after waiting for someome to answer my question i found the thread, the room is from jamal2367:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341794
so i guess its possible to install this roms without problems
Also i found on the web a user name dli7319 answer the question ¿Any GS4 can be turned into a Google Play Edition? he said:
yes, the i337 and m919 have the same board and are based off of the i9505, however you will need to use a kernel specific to your device.
He is in thesame context, using rom from a I9505G for a I337M
This is the one, works excelent!!

Definitely one of the best in my opinion! I'm using VirginROM right now and it's working flawlessly.

Sounds like a router/service provider issue and not the phone. Try rebooting your router.

Are your IMEI and serial # intact?
Do you have a backup of your EFS folder?
Are your APN setting correct?

My phone was doing the same and it was because my efs folder was corrupted. APN setting were fine.
Regardless, if you figure out what it is. Please post so other can learn from your mishaps!

If you have a custom recovery, the easiest way is within it. You save like any other nandroid but only save the efs partition not anything else. Typically the efs partition is not saved and you'll have to manually check it in recovery and uncheck the other partitions.

When you go into twrp, backup you should normally see boot, data, and system checked. Uncheck those and check efs. Then save the backup with a name you'll remember. If you ever need it you'd need to have a Rom installed and you'd then go into twrp and restore that nandroid.

EFS Backup

Came from note 2 and there is like a zip file there that will run aroma just to back up or restore efs. Is there like that here? How can i back up my efs?

You can either use EFS pro or Custom Recovery ie: Philz/TWRP .Have a nice day.

I think that if you can't solve with a factory reset first, you should probably restore to stock your phone with kdz

[Q] Restoring 4.4.2 to 4.3

Hey Guys:angel:, I would like to know whether I can Restore an Old backup of Jellybean using T.W.R.P, now that my SM-N900 has KitKat!
Kindly tell me can I do that!?
:sly: Make a backup of the KK rom and try. Then you tell us.
Or as IzArsha said, try restore only data. But what's the point of it ?
Sent from my N9005
Big NO cant do. You can only restore its data. But you might have FC i think
Sent from Hacker OS
Apparently you can't go back to 4.3 after updating bootloader to 4.4.2. Something that Samsung put in I've been told.

Backup all items on internal storage and back up your current rom.
Not sure with official lollipop but leak version will wipe your phone storage.
Most importantly backup your efs+imei just in case.
I didnt backup anything before updating via odin. I got the firmware from sammobile.
Nothing was lost.

Well maybe you don't need it. Once you flash lollipop it's quite risky to go back to kit kat. Possible to downgrade, if you like some challenge.
So just go ahead flash lollipop with odin.
