How did you get TWRP to install successfully? What error messages are you getting?
Not sure if it's a requirement, but did you enable Developer Options and check the USB Debugging box?
Only twrp 2.5 will flash..but takes a few flashes with Odin...if twrp flashes OK...n I flash cfauto root with odin...I gain root and lose twrp..stock recovery.. try n flash twrp n I lose root...Its so crazy ive never seen anything do this..ive been flashing on the S1..S2..S3..and S4...I know what im doing..

It will also freeze in download mode and say..something about the bar percentage..then I have to connect to kies and when it recognizes it I can flash with odin again

Jeez......have u tried to reinstall the drivers on ur computer? Are u opening Odin with admin privileges? I would start over from scratch and re download the tar file and go back to stock and try to Odin cf auto root and then install goo manager and install the custom recovery. I hope u get it worked out.

I Need Assistance..

Hello. I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Kingo Root program and it was successfully completed. I am wondering what's the next step to take to get custom ROMS. I'm wanting to get CyanogenMod 11 into my phone, but I don't know how to do this. Please help, anyone.
Thank you.

Hi, what you have to do is install a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP via Odin (a computer program) and then you enter the recovery with your cellphone and there you can flash new roms, you can search via google, there you will find excellent tutorials
It appears that my Bootloader is locked and when I tried to install a custom ROM, it put me into boot looping.

Pls do google or search youtube. you can find a ton of rooting.
I have TWRP and I can flash my ROM and whatnot. For some reason it won't flash CM11, but it adds the updated Gapps. Any suggestions?

i'm stuck on the boot screen (just says samsung galaxy tab 4 ) and it just doesnt start up i used
teamwin and put factory reset and data reset.(i dont know if it made it worse)Please i need help
and thank you. :crying:
Hi,
I will have your thread moved to your device section.
Good luck!
Hi
What do you did exactly? Were you trying to flash a new Rom?
Maybe the only way to recover the device is to go to Download mode and flash a stock Rom through Odin... You'll lost root, but you'll have a tablet.
I have the t235 model, which we aren't able to root...but I have a working thing

Kingroot and su are two different forms of root, in this case flashfire is asking for su(super user) so you need to root with superuser, the old way, flashing from Odin the necessary files for acquire root, then flashfire will work.
Couldnt i just install su as a sys app for same effect? Does mobile odin work on this devic3
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530AZ using XDA Free mobile app
It won't work I think, because you need all the related files that super su needs for work. Take a look on the thread root by Mohan, there's must be some answers related to cricket variant and root.
Grand prime on cricket doesnt appear anywhere. Ive read just about every forum. Since cricket is owned by att could i use the att stuff

Maybe there you can find some answers.
So have you rooted your sm-g530az?

how did you get back to stock on g530az? my phone is bricked
Download kies 3 on your PC, put your phone into download mode, plug your phone in, in the upper corner of kies go to firmware upgrade and ininliaztion or something like that, put in the model, put in your serial number, and just contuine with the process. It took me a couple tries, it failed for some odd reason the first couple times but eventually it started working and I got back to stock 5.1.1

I'm new to Samsung devices and therefore Kies and Odin. Are Samsungs essentially unbrickable, then, since you can flash back to stock using Samsung's tools?
I unwittingly attempted to root a SM-G530AZ (Cricket) running Lollipop 5.1.1 with Kingroot and bricked the phone when it rebooted. "Custom" was displayed on the boot up screen and the phone was locked with an exclamation point in a yellow triangle. It told me to contact the service provider for assistance.
What is the procedure to undo that goof up?

all you can do its flash it back to stock using kies3.
you will lose all data on that phone.
install kies3
select tools
firmware upgrade
enter your model number like this SM-G530AZ
enter your serial number
now kies will download the firmware, conect your phone
in download mode and wait abt 30 minutes.
do not try to root again, has of 1/02/2016 it still no root available for our device.
i have try everything on the web and fail.root will be obtain by kingroot but bricks on reboot.
