What is the real battery capacity of T530NU - Galaxy Tab 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T530NU) that supposed to have a 6800 mAh battery but CPU-Z reported 2100 mAh. Why the difference?

go to google play and read the reviews, cpu-z seems to be displaying incorrect information.
whether it's the app itself or a kitkat issue,
it's showing my battery as 3200mAh - sm-t530nu - pac-rom, it's likely the app itself.

Ok, I get it, thanks for the info and have a happy new year.

1650 mAh vs. 1500 mAh

The new galaxy 4G is brong released with a 1650 mAh battery and we currently have a 1500 mAh. How much of a difference is that?
Samsung Vibrant, Bionix, stock kernel. Sent using Xda app.
No, but that is very interesting. Just standard procedure... When vibrant first came out people cried about bad battery life.

10%. Lol. I think bigger and bigger batteries will be gracing phones this year, with the not-much-bigger-than-the-vibrant motorola atrix 4g sporting a much more sizeable 1950mAH battery.
It doesn't seem that much bigger, i wonder how much it adds to the width. Also could be for the added '4g' or it could be just because they could, but I dont think battery life has been bad on the vibrant.
The 4G radio probably will use a bit more power to function, so... yeah
More importantly, will the 4G battery fit in our Vibrants?

Um... 150 mAh. Doesn't your smart phone have a calculator app on it?
The new 1650mah will fit PERFECTLY in our vibrants. It is IDENTICAL in size.
It is the Giorgio Armani battery that was released on the Giorgio Armani Galaxy S version in Italy this month. Hope they are cheap cause im getting 1 or 2 when they come out.
Also to anyone that asks: 10% increases over stock
Note though that if you have had your phone for 6 months like me now, your old battery is likely decreased from the 1500mah it was when new so the new 1650 mah may seem like more than 10% for some.
Using a i9000 3000 mAh battery that I purchased on ebay (yes shipped from china) for $7.99. Love it. Yes its bigger but I like the back it came with better than stock. Lasts forever on bionix v. Like 48-60 hours with heavy use.
Hmm if I would buy a battery I would settle to 3000 mah instead of this, though this won't make our phones big.

Any idea on how much these 1650mah batteries would cost?

Lol 48-60 on moderate use u mean.
Heavy use is like watching videos and browsing ng webs constantly with half to full brightness on.

Why would anyone go less than full brightness on the amazing SAMOLED screen?! Quite crazy if you ask me! I bought it to look at the beautiful screen, not worry about battery life and I get through the whole day with light-moderate use on Nero 5.
150mAh. look @ what public schools are doing to us. I will walk you through it:
1650
-1500
-------
0150
-------
Whenever you see difference, you should subtract, and when you see sum, you should add!
j/k, couldn't resist

#1. Wrong forum, this is for the M919, not the I9500.
#2. 16+hours with 24% left doesn't seem so bad.
#3. Refer to the i9500 forum to see "normal" discharge.
Yup, look good to me.

Is it true that s3 batteries are the same as s4s?

I've read in a few posts around that people are claiming it's the same size battery and works. I've never had a s3 so I can't test. Are there four contacts on the top left side or do you have to flip the battery over? If someone has the s3 external charger, are the contacts on the top left or right? Another reason I'm asking is if they do fit, and have NFC, and the contacts are on the top left, then we could use a battery charger for a s3 since the OEM s4 external ones are hard to come by at the moment.
they are NOT the same. S4 is larger.
2100 mah for s3. 2600 for s4. They are not the same. The s4 is physically larger as well
Beamed from my Sammy GS4
Okay. The Samsung moment and nexus s 4g were the same and the epic 4g and epic 4g touch were the same even though the new batteries were higher capacity in the same size battery.

True battery capacity: ~560mAh (Wrong spec in XDA forum Glass specs header)

Hi guys,
The XDA google-glass SPEC list, the battery capacity is listed as 2100mAh. This is wrong.
Pictures from teardowns show 2.1Wh printed on the battery (see also the wikipedia article).
2.1Wh means roughly 2.1Wh/3.7V=~560mAh.
This is actually logical: the battery is really much smaller than the one in the nexus 4, which is 2100mAh.
We may want to correct this.
Cheers,
Dan

Battery capacity...

So I found out that my battery capacity is only 2800mah, and not the full 3200mah! Is anybody else in the same boat?

The statistic listed in most apps is simply what's reported by the hardware profile rather than the actual capacity of the exact cell in the device. What app is that exactly? I don't recognise it.

I am also in the same boat, this is what is reported by Kernel Aduitor, are you in LineageOS like myself or are you using the stock ROM?
EDIT: We're using the G5 power_profile.xml but should be using the V20, if we get the right fixes in next LineageOS or AOSP builds it will display properly the 3200 mAh capacity:
