Out of no where it stopped working,
I take out the spen and chose action memo it will open and it will close automatically by itself real quick every other thing with spen works except action memo
SNOTE does works but not action memo when i open it up from the spen pop up menu.
Anyone else?

With the previous Note devices, you could use the button on the S-Pen to toggle between inking and erasing in S-Note. That functionality seems gone now that the button toggles Air Command. But even when I turn off air command, I can't use that button as a toggle anymore. Is this feature gone for good? It was super convenient. ..
Good question. I've never used a Note, but it would seem to be the most useful way to write effectively with the pen. I would hope that Samsung didn't do away with such a feature just to pimp the new S-pen features.

Something cool would be to open the pen window chooser without the s-pen pulled out. Maybe a long press of the menu button would open the application selector. I know the multi-window has this in a way, but the quick minimizing and access of the pen window is a nice feature
Has anyone figured out a way to make a shortcut to the pen window function? This is the feature where you take out the s-pen, click pen window, draw a rectangle, then pick one of the preselected apps. I don't find myself using the s-pen much at all, but having a shortcut to that feature would be AMAZING. It would simply be a matter of clicking the icon shortcut (or assigning a gesture to it with Nova), drawing a rectangle with your finger, then selecting an app.
I'm using Nova launcher and can't seem to find a shortcut for it in there. Any help would be much appreciated!

Edit: NM, finally found an app for this in the play store. $1.49 well worth it IMO. Same dude who made the pen window manager to add more apps to pen window.
Hi, Wondering if anyone else has this issue and what to do...
Buttons like the compose new email pencil in gmail or the open dial pad in the dialler app don't do anything when I press since installing lollipop (i've had the 2nd update and tried a factory reset but no luck).
It is like the button doesn't exist - for example in the dialler it will open the contact behind the button instead or in gmail it will open an email.
When I rotate the screen in gmail to landscape the button is responsive again. I don't think it's hardware because it was exactly after lollipop was installed.
any ideas?

I found this feature of taking notes on a black screen with the note 5 very attractive and someone wrote on gizmodo that it's already available for the note 4. can someone point me to it ?

The feature we have in the Note 4 is when you pull out the SPen double tap the Display with it while holding the SPen button, it goes straight into Action Memo.
Make sure you have Enabled it in the Lock Screen Settings, tick: 'Action memo on lock screen'.
