i bought a used vs980 g2 from a good friend to use on t-mobile's network (simple mobile mvno) so i know the imei is clean, i tried flashing a rom like i would on my old phone (nexus 4) and failed horribly, guess im not used to the locked bootloaders and what not on the g2, anyways i ended using the lg flash tool to put it back to stock and lost my imei and had to restore the imei using QSPT . now from what i can understand the PRL allows the phone to find the closest towers or new towers while "roaming". i didn't realize intill after restoring the imei that the signal was lower than before and that the prl was unknown, i can assume it was unknown while the imei was "00000000000" anyways. i already rooted the phone so OTA's are out of the picture, and i dont have any way to get a verizon sim to update the prl through them, is there a way for me to update the PRL manually ?
TL;DR; Using T-mobile network aka Simple mobile, have low signal, Phone rooted, PRL shows as Unknown. can i update PRL manually ?

i have a sm-g900v that i am using on AT&T, I keep getting no signal and it ask me to go global, so i do the signal comes back , then it will drop again and i have to switch it back to gsm and the signal comes back again.. Is there a different radio i need to flash?? I have already checked the APN settings and they are correct.. I also have a question i went into nv and turned on all the LTE bands, i saved my qcn file from the phone but when i try to write it back to stock, it gives me a BAN error??

Story: I bought F320L for 86$. The bad think was there is no IMEI in it. The seller didn't told me there is no baseband too. I was trying to repair it since 3 months... Finally i found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help/f320k-f320l-f320s-network-problem-t2921626 and it "worked". When I insert the sim card into phone, it can see the network and work with it for 5minutes. But I can't call nobody, recive calls, write sms, check how much money I have got.. Nothing. So when I flashed this baseband, I managed to restore IMEI with EFS Professional. I can restore Imei and ESN, but i can't restore MEID. In phone is IMEI and ESN. When I flashed rom "CloudyStock 2.8" with baseband from @Cloudyfa, it didn't worked. When I flashed this bb from @grandixximo, it worked, but like on stock: no calls etc. I was trying many providers like: P4, Plus, Orange (Polish providers). I think it can't be hw problem because phone can connect to network for maybe 5 minutes(and then it loses the network and trying to search). What can I do now?

For the past 3 weeks, I was reading threads and trying to solve the issue, but no luck. So please help me.
My problem/story started when I have ordered an LG V20 US996 from china, everything was working. I wanted to root it so I have tried this https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/how-to/v20-h915us996-dirtyelf-bootloader-t3568013 and it worked, but I have lost the GSM Signal
I have tried to fix the issue by going to *#*#4636#*#* -> Phone information, but the US996 rom can’t access this menu. So I have tied to flash LineageOS for US996 it has started but the touch didn’t work so I have used an OTG Mouse, I went to *#*#4636#*#* but no result
After a long search on the internet I have come on a thread that suggest to see the original model of the phone (because as they said in china they may change the phone version), so I have checked the motherboard and I have found out that my phone is VS995.
But when I enter the LGUP or UPPERCUT it says that it is US996, I only can flash US996 KDZ ROM. However, after I went to ##PROGRAM996 I hit there reset (I don’t know exactly where) the phone restarted and now it shows in LGUP that it is VS995
So I have flashed using UPPERCUT VS99512A_06_1114_ARB00.kdz and no result still no GSM Signal then I have rooted the phone using https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/development/ls997vs995h910-dirtysanta-bootloader-t3519410

i have no signal problem too, after doing firmware update using wifi, now my VS995 won't register to GSM/LTE network and it says Sim Card is not from Verizon...
how to activate this phone? i'm not in USA as your problem i cannot activate the VS995 using Verizon services,..
what should we do? to activate manually without the Verizon simcards??
Mine was showing no signal until I made a call, then it worked. I'm in the US, though.

Habe you tried changing to Global. I am in the UK and have a vs995 and i am getting the not a verizon sim (which you can ignore). My problem is that using my contract carrier (EE) i cannot access 4G only 3G GSM but if i use a different carrier sim (O2) 4G/LTE is working.
