I am looking into getting Crombi kk for my tf300. I want to be sure of some things first. Does the HDMI port work with this Rom? Does the sd slot work with it as well?

When I used it, the HDMI port did work and the SD card did as well. The HDMI was a little glitchy though. I had to unplug and replug it a few times before it worked.

I encrypted my eee pad yesterday and it works very well, but each time I switch on my pad I have to insert the SD card again. Is that normal? Can I change that?

Hey guys,
I've got a 32gb tf300 and a 32gb SD card. I've seen a few posts of people saying they use their SD card as internal memory. I've found a few posts but they are always device specific. Can anyone provide me additional information regarding this? Is it a universal process? Pros/cons of doing it? Thanks for your help
I dont think you can since android 4. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong though

im not too sure why you would need to mate ive got loads of apps installed and still got lots of free space as long as you keep movies and stuff on the external sd you should have plenty mate

I completely agree and I'm by no means scratching for space, its perhaps more of a learning exercise than anything else. Though it would be nice to be able to pin all of my music for offline listening with plenty of room to spare

I have a 64 gig sd card in mine... With 32gig internal.
I saw the thread on the tf201 where they did mount the data partition and it really speeds up tge slow data transfer rates on the prime.

Can you move game data to a micro SD card?

Awesome thanks. I'll scour and see if I can find it. Hopefully the process is the same on the tf300

I guess you could... But with even the 16gig version and a sd card you should be straight. 64 gig class 6 sd card 65 bux... Can't complain, 32gig class 10's are 30 and under.

whooow, hold your horses, do i read 64GB sdcard? can i put a 64gb sdxc card in this thing??
i thought 32 gb SDHC was the max ...
ps (i dont have the dock)
Yes you can use 64 gB cards...I know of one guy who has 64 gb and 128 gb cards on dock in addition (total 288gb ..32+64+64+128 on his tf300)

If I'm ablee to move game data to the micro SD card, that would be great.

Seriously how many games do you play at a time? ...I think 32gb internal is enough ..get the music, books, videos and rest on SD card...and if need lots of memory ...get a portable large usb drive 1 TB or so and connect to dock or USB adapter

I am excited to buy my Nexus 7 but i have a few questions before i unload the cash. First of all, i was wondering if i could use a OTG cable to connect the charger, a keyboard and a usb drive. Is this possible or am i better off getting this Asus Transformer (http://usa.asus.com/Tablet/Transformer_Pad/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_TF300T/) Also, is it possible to use a bluetooth keyboard instead and still use a usb without it being plugged in? Lastly, is it really large enough for typing essays, etc or is it a bad idea, Thanks for the answer
I would suggest you to go with the transformer rather than the nexus, because depending on your needs transformer suits you the best

thank you for answering. What transformer is the cheapest with keyboard. it need to be quad core with Ice cream sandwich and sd slot
I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with there keyboard not charging or access to usb storage? I believe the issue started with the update to 1/04 (4.2.1). If I'm it somewhere in forums, please guide me to proper place.

Anyone? I'm hoping I'm not the only one with this issue. I have full function of the keyboard except like I mentioned above. Could it be a hardware issue? Whenever I plug the charger in, the light comes on the dockstation, however it's not supplying power to the tablet. My battery isn't holding the same charge, it's draining as if its not connected to dockstation at all.
Sent from my Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 2
you should have read the cm10.1 nightlies thread ....... its already stated that some dock functions has not yet been implemented yet.
Thanks for the reply. I understand that some of the functions aren't implemented, but I haven't read where the dock wasn't showing up at all or wasn't providing a charge.

mine does which i think is strange. I was just curious.
Thanks,
Actually it does not.
I thought every Android device wakes up when connecting the charger. All smartphones I got my hands on did. Though this can be disabled
Not it does not turn on. You may wanna check in settings if there's something to enable/disable it (don't know whether you're using a custom rom or not)
Every Android device does unless you modify the Android. Policy. Jar. I think that's the one. However my galaxy S3 doesn't turn on running Cm10.1

Well I guess since I cant unlock the damn thing ill have a hard time changing that file. My phone doesn't do it but ive had a custom rom on it for so long i dont recall if the phone turned on when i plugged if in prior to rooting it. However, i dont have a custom ROM on the TF300T nor do i see a power setting so i guess id have to edit the file somehow. Seems silly to me since I'd like to keep it shut off to charge faster but as soon as i plug it in on she powers up from being completely off. Annoying.
Yes, mine does.

Well mine did few seconds after I unplugged again. Guess it was some sort of delay

Same here. Kind of makes sense to me.
Still Charged Up
Yep, same here. This is the only Android device I've had that boots up fully when connecting a charger.

That's an easy hack,
You can also disable the screen on when plugged in via a .jar hack.

I've only had this issue on the odd occasion, but just the other day I left it off and plugged in, went to work and it was still off when I got back.

Mine on latest 4.2.1 does!
Strange, mine did at first. But after bricking, and recovering from the brick, it no longer does. I found that out today when I plugged it in after it died. I still had to turn it on after I returned back to it an hour later.
