64GB Cloud White shipments - Nexus 6 General

I'm gonna go out a limb here with the mods. Every model has seen shipments except for the 64GB Cloud White, and no word or updates from either Google or Motorola. Zero hour has arrived even for 10/29 GPS orders and we still have no word for this particular model.
Can everyone who's ordered this unicorn give an update if they've received shipment notification.

How many of us pre-ordered with Best Buy and got back ordered? I ordered a 32g White on the 8th.
I pre-ordered from BB as soon as it was available (32GB W). Got an email notice yesterday the device has shipped (from OH). This morning the device is in Buffalo.
Due to arrive on Tuesday, per UPS tracking.
Same thing. Shipped from OH and coming on Wednesday. If my preorder back from the 8th went to back order status I would go find a store that has the model you want and talk to the store manager. That's not right (don't care what or how it happened) thats not good customer service and last time I checked the majority of the US economy is what?.......a service economy.

Now I am bummed I found them at a Best Buy close to me and I called to have it transferred to store so I can get it now but now it says order being fulfilled now and they cannot transfer now. They said I should get it Thursday or Friday so much for pre-order.
it's ridiculous how pre-order is to be shipped after the retail store have it in stock. i've always thought pre-order is to be shipped out so that the buyer would have it on the same day it's available to consumers.
cancelled pre-order, pick 1 up this morning. i'd be surprise if they sell much @ my local best buy, no ads or any indication they have it in stock. no display unit. most reps don't know they have it other than mobile department reps.
Gosh, that really sucks guys. I pre-ordered mine on Amazon, got annoyed with the delayed shipping (and decided to upgrade to a larger capacity), and ended up walking into my local Best Buy and picking one up.
Why can't these companies do a pre-order right. It shouldn't be that hard. You don't even have to guess at the demand! There is no reason that I should have been able to walk into the store and buy one when you guys are stilling waiting to receive your pre-order.

There's just no reason to pre-order these things. You know there won't be a stampede to get them and the pre-orders are always handled in some funky manner.
Either do it the Apple way where pre-orders are literally delivered to peoples' doors the day the product is released or at least make it so that people can pick up their device in-store on that date.
Pre-order actually worked out OK for me. My local BB, while it had >60 of these devices on 17th, 100% of them were 16GB devices - I want a 32GB device. Who know when this BB store will get 32GB in inventory?
I'll have my device on Tuesday - soon enough, I suppose.
At least you had the option / appearance of a preorder... My two closest stores didn't do them. They did tell me they had a 32GB physically in hand today so I drove 35 miles only to find out they won't get them til tuesday... Hopefully.
Spent an hour today getting F'd in the A by BB. Nice letter heading to corporate today after talking with 2 douche managers. Tips? Ideas?

Here are a few that could help them:
-Ship preorders early so they arrive on Launch Day. If not possible due to various reasons, clearly indicate that on the preorder information.
-Allow people that preordered and are on backorder to pickup their preordered model in the store.
-Dont wait until customer opinion surveys reach rock bottom before attempting to fix the problem. High end electronics retailing should equal good customer service. I dont care that you might only have 5-10% margin, to the customer they are still paying on average more than other items.
- Have an equal or slighly smaller quantity of device accessories along with the tablet.
Dang I am so jealous I am still waiting for my pre-order. Thursday is suppose to be my day.
I pre ordered on the 8th. When I found out they wouldn't start shipping them out until the 17th, I canceled my order. I ended up going to my local BestBuy on the 17th to pick one up.

How long does it normal take a Nexus 10 to ship?

I ordered mine yesterday morning and the status hasn't changed. I didn't see anything that said there would be a delay also. How long do they normally take to ship?

I ordered the 16gb. Sorry should of said that haha.
2 days processing, 2 days shipping. I didn't get my shipping notification until the day it was going to arrive so don't freak out if you don't get it the third day.
I ordered a 16GB on 23rd and still have not got any shipping mail. Today is the 3rd Business day and maybe I should get a shipping email in a day or two.

Ordered mine on the 24th, still not received my shipping notification
purchased a nexus 7 on the 21st, had a shipping notification on the 22nd, was in my hands on the 23rd...

It sounds like I got lucky. I ordered the 16gb version at 1 AM Friday the 23rd, got the tracking number later that morning, and it arrived on Monday.
I ordered mine on the 23rd and have not gotten my confirmation email. I called today to make sure everything was OK and they said my order was still processing.

I ordered on a Saturday, it shipped in the evening on the following Monday, and arrived Tuesday (the next day). I'd say this was quicker then average times though.

I ordered mine at 6:30pm on the 23rd and I still have yet to receive a tracking....I'm so jealous of you right now.
I just got off the phone with Google and they said that the problem is that the nexus 4 orders are backing up the he us 10 orders!! I was told my order has been approved and should ship within the next day or so. I originally ordered on the 23rd.

I ordered mine on 11/26 and the order posted to play as the 27th, I assume because it was 5:30pm on the 26th when it was "received" (according to the invoice) in CA and that's after business hours. I still haven't received a shipping notice.
I spoke to a Google Play Rep about it to make sure it processed correctly. I wanted to be sure there wasn't any trouble in the transaction since I recently had Identity theft issues.
He told me that it had charged my card successfully and was in processing and would most likely be Friday before it shipped and I would get it Monday at the earliest but probably later and that if I hadn't received it by Friday of next week to call them back.
So that "Delivered in 3-5 business days" Google play posts in the fine print is a not so reliable way of saying it'll be 3-5 before we mail it, Maybe.

Their customer service reps keep telling me it will send the shipping info email the same day I keep calling them. What a lie! Anyways after numerous calls and emails they finally sent me an email with some information of use. Hope this will help anyone wondering what is happening with their orders. This is what it says:

I placed my order from New York on Monday Morning 11/26/12 everything went through i even called to make sure and i have not even gotten a process completion email with a tracking number yet if i dont get anything by friday im calling them and demanding them to send it overnight at no extra charge....its all about the customer my friends! even though I am upset they dont sell the Nexus 10 in stores and have to go trough this whole process...I can say I am really excited to receive my new toy!!

the wait is very agrivating Im waiting for mine as well, and can you beleive they dont let you cancel your order...i ordered 2 by accident ( the other order got declined since i didnt have enough funds for both) but they cant cancel....i think this will be the last time i buy an item off the Google play store

I received my Shipping notification at 1:05 pm today. When I got the email and checked the tracking number, It was already in the Nashville hub and will be out for delivery tomorrow.

Wow this is totally unfair if you ordered it on the 26th and I ordered on the 22nd. Completely upset with Google now. I still have no delivery confirmation email. Congratulations on getting your nexus 10 btw.

I ordered my Verizon Moto X 32GB w/ ebony back on 9/26 and had it in my hands on 10/1.
I ordered my Verizon Moto X w/ Leather back on Sept 28th. I have an estimated delivery date of Oct 22nd.
Shipped in 6 days received in 8 days

Check your order status on Motomaker instead of F5ing your email. Some people (myself included) never got a tracking email and the phone just showed up one day.

I agree with this. I had to manually check my order status repeatedly. On the order confirmation page, it had told me that I'd be getting my phone on Oct 9th. To my surprise and delight, I received it on the 3rd. I placed the order on 09/29.
It's a Pure edition 32GB with a regular plastic back.
I'm not surprise that the Verizon version is taking a while to ship. I had heard elsewhere that the Verizon version had sold out very quickly and Motorola is quickly trying to refill their Verizon stock.
Ordered a pure edition Sept 30, it says I will get it Oct 9, but so far no updates... We'll see! If I don't get it tomorrow I guess I'll try and go for those $25 coupons.

Sorry to hear. I ordered the Verizon 32GB with white front, chalk (white) back, metallic gold trim, and no engraving on 9/30. The white front phones had a delayed shipping date of 10/21 but I went ahead and ordered anyway. On 10/2 I received an email saying it was being built. To my surprise, it shipped from Fort Worth, TX the next evening and it arrived at my door on 10/7. I also never got an email from Moto or Fedex saying it had shipped, so definitely check your order on Moto daily.
I called Motorola today and I heard very disappointing news. My phone will ship by next Friday. I placed my order on the 30th and it gave me a date or delivered by October 9th. I originally placed my order on 32 GB black ebony wood as it said that the white ones are delayed till the 22nd of October so it made my buying decision easier to go with black. It now seems that the white ones are shipping faster although my delay might be due to the ebony back. None the less I am very disappoint to wait this long.

I am in the same boat. On 9/30, I ordered a 32GB Pure black/black/gold because the white was showing delayed. I was just told that shipping times are now expected to be 3 weeks from when they were ordered. I wanted to go with white/bamboo/silver, but decided on the black due to the delays listed for white. I've contacted their customer service, which is absolutely worthless, and have to wait until my device comes in to return it for a refund, and then place an order for a new one. I can't even cancel my order according to Motorola, which is ridiculous. I can understand if the phone was actually being built, but when you don't have the components on hand and it's just a number on the screen, there's no reason that I can't.

Yeah their support is a total joke. They have told me no later than the the 17th but I have zero confidence that they will get it on time. If you really want to cancel call your bank and dispute the charge. Tell them that Motorola will not cancel and will not ship your order. The reason I know this will work is because I had to do this with the Moto 360. After they agreed to cancel my order which btw was supposed to be here Oct 6.
When they didn't call me back to confirm the cancellation as they said they would AND they actually took the money from my account instead of the normal authorization hold a company usually does. I called my bank to explain it to them, they credited me back the money the same day (which was a saturday btw). I think a week and a half later they finally sent me an email that my order was going to be cancelled. This week they sent me an email letting me know that my Moto 360 was going to be later than Oct 6... My Moto 360 order still shows as open, as well as my Moto X.
This company is unbelievable in terms of customer service. They have been unresponsive and unhelpful. I still haven't cancelled my Moto X but im getting close. (they also told me I couldn't cancel but im guessing I can dispute it away if I want to.)

I actually had a shipping problem even when I had the Moto X (1st Gen). 8 Months after launch, stock shouldn't be a reason not to ship. I had to call them to get it to ship. They told me it was ready but they had to call the warehouse to make sure they shipped it. It was a day before my Moto 360 was suppose to be delivered and it still hadn't shipped. I called Motorola, they had to call the warehouse again to make sure it shipped, and ended up doing an overnight shipment. Called again just to be ahead of the game 2 days before my Moto X (2014) was to be delivered. After I called, the status of it changed to ship in about 3 hours.
Not sure if anybody else had this problem but for me, it seems to be recurring where they don't ship my orders until I call them. Might help someone in a position like mine.
I think they are holding them all to load Android Licorice now (grin).

Best Buy order arrival notices

Lets start a thread for those of use who preordered through Best Buy (regrettably) and post when we preordered, color, location and when we received our notices that our device is ready for pick up.
PS. I got BB to tell me what position in line I am for my preorder, the customer service rep I spoke with talked with the store that I preordered from and she said I was either #4 or #6, she couldn't remember which one it was.
Obviously I haven't received mine yet but will post on here the second I do.

Although she said most likely it will processed the 22nd and than ready for pickup the next morning. My main concern was since I preorderd so late, would that effect when I could get my phone. Seems it won't be an issue. I did enroll in text message notifications too. I'm ready!

I didn't get the confirmation either but realized my father is still the primary on our family plan so he received it. So that's why I told the women I spoke to to sign up me up for text alerts which will keep me updated on the status of my order.

No we both actually don't have service with Verizon yet. The plan was, when I received the phone to switch to Verizon.
Still got my fingers crossed that I will have it this week still but who knows....

I called my Best Buy last week and the guy told me I would be able to pick it up on the 24th. When I preordered the lady told me I would get an email the night before it's available. So I'm not expecting to hear anything until Thursday night.

I'm kicking myself for switching my preorder to Best Buy. They still haven't sent a notification on a Sprint Note 4 a family member ordered.
If I find out I have to wait til 10/31, I'll be livid because I can't switch back to ordering it from Amazon. Also I need to purchase it through preorder to get that rebate--I'm paying full price for the phone.
This really is the worst handled launch of a phone.
I worked for Best Buy on and off over the years in their Mobile dept. The way it works is the district warehouse sends a predetermined number of product to each store based on sales rank for various products - regardless of the number of pre-orders the store may have received. For example, I pre-ordered a Black N4 from my local best buy the other day, and talking to my former co-worker she looked up the number of black N4s assigned to be delivered to our store. RSS showed 11 were ordered for our store, though the system does not say when they will arrive, or if they will all arrive at once. Best Buy employees have no ability to look up pre-order quantities so you cannot tell if of the 11 expected to the store one will be allotted to you. Pre-orders are filled in order of receipt, so the earlier you were to pre-order the more likely it is you'll get one the day/day after they receive them. Best Buy will get a truck on thursday morning (23rd) likely having the first round of N4s on it. So thursday they will process the delivery and you'll get a notification mid to late afternoon that they have your phone (if there were enough delivered to get to your name) You shouldnt get any notifications from best buy until the store you ordered from processes their received stock and your pre-order is filled in store and is awaiting pick-up.

Just got off the phone with a sales rep at my local BB where I preordered. He said he doesn't have any new information but they are expecting to receive Verizon note 4s in on Thursday and I should check back with them then. I'm going to keep calling every day to see when they actually get some in. Also, once we know that they are starting to get them in, it wouldn't hurt to call around to the other BBs in the area to see if they maybe got more in than the store you ordered from. It may be a long shot but if a store got like 20 of them in and only had 10 preorders, the remainder will be available to be sold. In that case, you can simply go that location and have your preorder fulfilled through that store. Again, probably a long shot but at this point, I just want the damn phone asap.

Well let see... When I was in store doing my pre-order with Gift Card on my BB credit card, I was promised the 17th as discussed in prior thread(s). I never actually believed this since various Best Buys deceived me so much on my qualified trade in being a Droid X. Even the original rep had got smart with me in the store I pre-ordered and rudely swung her monitor around showing my Droid X was listed in there system as a $0 value. She was correctly corrected by both a co-worker and manager of which I further had them write my trade in model and acceptance of trade upon picking up my pre-order when it arrives on paper.
As the 17th passed with no email or notification that my Note 4 was in store, I called and finally reached a different manager. He right away told me that there was a lawsuit of some sort between Verizon and Samsung or Best Buy - he really didn't give me much information regarding that other than Verizon had just sent them a letter around the 14th demanding they would not receive shipments until the day of the 23rd and be allowed to release them then. The manager also promised me that mine would be available as of that date and that even further, they would likely actually receive the shipment on the 21st or 22nd and start sending folks like me notifications of pickup ready for the 23rd.
That is where things stand at this point with me. Gee, I wonder what to expect next...
A few weeks ago I wanted to preorder the N4 but my best buy said they were done with verizon note 4 preorders. But than a couple weeks later, on 10/15. I went back into the store and I was able to preorder a N4. My question is, if I'm preordering the phone, that should mean that's one additional N4 my best buy needs to have shipped to it's store. It makes absolutely no sense that none of us shouldn't get our PREORDERED N4 on release day. That is the whole point of doing a preorder, or else why bother. Like I said in my previous post, BBM told me a date of the 22nd being in store, which they will process it than or that night, and be ready for pick up Thursday. I hope this remains true. I know I preordered very late, but I still a preorder. My thinking is that say my best buy originally was told they were getting I don't know, say 30 Verizon N4s. Well they got confirmation they could actually receive 40 so they opened preorders back up and that's when I got mine. I'm hoping this is the case at least.

Only time will tell. Hopefully they will start receiving the devices in the next day or so and have them available to us that preordered relatively early (Oct 3rd, in my case). That would be the best case scenario, worst case scenario is they only receive a couple devices of each color and this goes on for weeks until they fulfill all of the orders.

Basically the Pre-order guarentees the $200 working phone trade in offer, and that if there arn't enough phones on the first truck, on tuesday (usually the next delivery day for bby) you'll have guarenteed product. Verizon store is the same way if you go in and pre-order. It's basically just a hold to prevent someone from walking in and buying the N4 once they have one available. It's supposed to reduce people calling in and coming to store asking alll the time "Do you have this phone now?"
Unfortunately bby gets what Samsung sends them, then from there they send their pre-determined shipments out to the stores based on store sales statistics, not so much on pre-order demand.
Information regarding Verizon Note 4/ Best Buy:
I hope everyone is well. I work for Samsung inside of Best Buy, and I am also awaiting a note 4 via verizon. I can tell you in OUR circumstance, all intial orders tracked through RSS were pre-orders ONLY, and not all preorders will be met. We are currently getting in only 6 (4 black, 2 white) at my location. They are "on order", and are expected in later this afternoon or early tomorrow morning. They are available FOR sale prior to the 23rd, but more than likely, Best Buy will tell you that they are not or you won't know because your e-mail doesn't go out until late tomorrow night.
They are on there way and you should be receiving e-mails no later than tomorrow evening if you were the first couple of pre-orders per color. There will be a VERY limited amount, so for those pre-ordering late, my best wishes are with you.
I just wanted to give you a straight, no bs response unlike some of the things I've read/heard/ seen dished out from BB employees.
Best of luck and I hope you all get your phones soon!
Samsung guys in best buy work for Samsung, not best buy. They don't even have access to best buy sales systems. Besides asking a mobile sales rep for the incoming quantity that is shown in RSS there would be no further information except sales guidelines for when they are allowed to actually sell the device. Best buy has to abide by Samsung / Verizon's contract as to when they will sell their phone. Same thing for PS4 Xbox etc... Sell a product prior to the agreed release date and best buy can be sued for a ton of money loose rights to sell product etc

The interesting part is RSS has the street date listed as 10/17/14, so there is nothing prevent the sale. POS picks up the street date and will not allow sales ahead of the street date based from RSS. The only thing claiming 10/23/14 is a sheet of paper that is often wrong.

I was told I am number 4 or 6 (the BB rep that called me couldn't remember after contacting the store). You said that your store is only getting 6 in total. Do you think all stores are only going to get 6 in (or about that amount) or do you think that some stores may receive more/less?
I really hope I'm in the first wave of devices they receive.

We do work for Samsung, but we have complete access to all numbers for Best Buy as well .
The release date was weeks ago in the system; they are fair game when they arrive and your name is called.

Has Google missed anybody's 2nd promised delivery window (with $25.00 credit promise)

I pre-ordered my graphite 128GB day 1 and still haven't received my phone. My initial delivery promise was Nov 2nd-3rd. I got the delay email with 25 credit, with new delivery date between Nov 7th through the 14th. It's now the 12th, and my phone is still sitting in the pending phase, which is exactly where it's sat from the day i ordered it. The 14th is a Saturday, and as far as i know, nobody's gotten there phones on a Saturday before, so that means my phone has to ship today to get here by there 2nd promised delivery date.
So my question is, has Google missed anybody's promised second delivery window yet? And if so, did they compensate you more on top of the 25.00 credit?

I have the exact same fact pattern as you. Down to the exact same second promised delivery window. Still pending as well. I'm in Detroit and I hear it's partially related to locale. I called today and spoke to a manager in the shipping department. She said the 64/128gb frosty is being pushed out as fast as they can. They ran into some delays (no s#*t!)
She expects those original orders that are still pending to go out next week. They won't do anything else for us as far as compensation goes. She said she could cancel my order if I didn't want to wait any longer.
When I heard last week about the delay, I ordered a 32gb graphite and received it the next day. So as far as I'm concerned, I don't mind waiting. I'm going to request an RMA on the final day for returning it. Hopefully by then the frosty will be here or on the way.

Funny, ordered my nexus 6p and within 2 days it got to me. I didn't even pay for shipping, which was awesome. Strange that others are having such a hard time getting their hands on their devices.
Do you guys think I can get a refund for my rma being late? Lol

Yup, I'm exactly the same as well. This is beyond ridiculous. Never pre-ordering from Google again.
I ordered my 128G graphite on 9/30 and my friend ordered his 128G frost (it was the only one in stock) on 11/2. We both got our phone on 11/9. Go figure...
They have officially missed my 2nd promised delivery window, and my order is still stuck in the pending phase, where it has sat since i pre ordered day 1. Time to give Google yet another call. Last time i'll be pre ordering from them!

Update us with what you find out. I'm tired of calling.
I finally got my shipping confirmation tonight. When i talked to Google customer service earlier today, he told me i would have tracking info by tonight, and i actually just got it. I was a little skeptical when he told me that, but i'm happy i'll finally have my 6P tomorrow.
