Im just wondering if anyone can create a CWM 6.0.2.3 Recovery Flashable Zip that can be flash via Recovery..
Coz for I do test some custom cwm touch recovery, but to be able to revert back to Official CWMR 6.0.2.3, I have to flash the .IMG via PC (Fastboot Mode).
If anyone can provide us with a Flashable zip with ClockWorkMod Recovery that would be cool and I would be greatful to the one who provide it..

Why not use ROM manager?
You can't flash a recovery image when in recovery as it's in use - you can only use fastboot (or ROM Manager if you REALLY want to)

Ow.. Thanks for that valuable information, though, I tried to flash a custom CWM touch recovery which was posted here, and there's a flashable zip available, I tried that and flash it via Official CWM Recovery it flashes without any problems,
Still, Fastboot flashing is no problem for me, is just that, It happens to me one time that cant access my PC, then thought of and hoping there's a flashable zip of cwmr without any modifications just like the Official .IMG

sorry, but i have to disagree, of course it works. I flash recoveries this way for years.

In which case I stand corrected, I didn't think it was possible to flash another recovery when the existing one is running. Seems like a bit of a security loophole IMO!

I just checked Google play, Rom manager is free.

Use an OTG adaptor to access to USB thumb drive connect to Nexus 4.
I have same set up when used TWRP 2.4.4 on Samsung Nexus, and ASUS TF300t; on both devices TWRP recognizes SD card external via OTG without problem.
On Nexus 4, when plug in, or turn it to fastboot, recovery mode, the light on USB thumb drive does not blink. after get in TWRP it will not mount external drive.
Any help?

Nexus 4 doesn't support OTG.

I didn't "dig up" the thread. I was looking for information on CWM Recovery custom ROMs and while reading this (among others) thread looking for the info, I saw your post. Since you aren't man enough to delete your inaccurate comment, I felt it important to decry it so others don't heed your ignorant assertion.
Why should I delete it? I was corrected, I admitted as such and that is more manly than leaving a post saying 'deleted' in it don't you think? I can easily admit when I'm wrong and this was one of those times
Firstly, you cannot install OTA's with TWRP. You'll have to get back to stock recovery in order to install patches.
Thanks to @eng.stk, with the recovery compiled from source, we now can flash OTA Zips from TWRP.

Download the following OTA's and move them to internal/external storage and proceed to install them from TWRP.

It's most likely that you tampered the system and recovery partition. I uploaded the stock recovery here, flash the stock recovery, then flash to system dump, then this patch.
Well, i did a nandroid backup before getting rooted, i tried to restore my phone so i could properly do the ota, but now there is no OS installed
But my computer still detect my phone, where can i download the full rom please ?

By flashing the system dump I meant, install this zip package http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/general/ota003all20151024193-oxygenos-ota-dump-t3244996. This zip package is stock system dump bearing version 03. Then flash to 03-04 patch.
is this OTA solved the problem with microsd cards?
Can anybody help with a generic error trying to flash the stock recovery again?
No reason why just says failed. I am rooted with TWRP and trying to revert to stock to be able to OTA. Last android was a nexus 4 and been away a little while so I may be missing something.. I don't want to have to wipe all my data and such can somebody assist and refresh my understanding?

I don't know about you guys, but I have the E-1003 model, SD card is working fine. I have a Samsung EVO+ 32GB card.

You need to flash to Stock recovery as well. I'll be updating the OP.

I can't restore the stock recovery.
in TWRP:
error flashing zip '/sdcard/*/oneplusx_x_stock_recovery.zip'
I also copied the zip into the TWRP backup folder, but can't select it to restore.
TWRP ist v.2.8.7.0
What am I doing wrong?
...rebooting the device from TWRP is also not working, anybody with the same problem?

Extract the recovery.img from the zip file and flash it from fastboot:

you can flash .img files on TWRP, on the install section in TWRP, in the lower right section you will see FLASH IMAGE! Good luck have fun as we say in CS:GO

My phone was running well but last night all of sudden it went in boot loop. CWM Recovery is showing E:can't mount error and I am not able to flash any rom using CWM recovery.
I searched for stock rom and found out some but I am not sure about which rom to flash using sp flash tool.
My device was running on FOTA KK by Umang.
On the back side of the device, S/W version is 11.
Please find attachment and help me out.

Open SP flash tools, click on format tab, make sure "Format everything except bootloader" is CHECKED. Click format then connect your switched off phone via USB cable, after format is complete, pull out USB and click on download tab, load the scatter file and use secro.img for Cache and Userdata. Download should now commence.
After download is complete pull out cable and boot into recovery mode first. You'll see a broken android logo, press the power button once and you'll see recovery options. Perform a factory reset then boot system. Be patient first boot can take up to 15 minutes.

I read on XDA that formatting will make phone dead and it won't be detected by computer so I am afraid that it will potentially brick my phone.

That's why I said, make sure "Format everything except bootloader is CHECKED". As long as your bootloader is intact, your phone will always connect to the computer.
And I wouldn't be suggesting something if I didn't do it myself.

Of course you can! But if you wish to flash custom ROMS in the future, I'd suggest you flash Wiko Rainbow V13. Most of the custom ROMS require Wiko base.

FOTA Kitkat?
Regardless of what it was, this ROM is built for MT6582, and it will work. Make sure to select secro.img for Cache and userdata.

Why not trying to reflash the twrp(may try another one from official website or of silesh nair on his thread).
I think you might have turn on md5 checksum or another this which keeps verifying the zip and no signature is found.
Reflashing is a good course as it do not erase any data of yours.

I used 3 different versions of TWRP Still didn't help. And the MD5 checksums matched, zip signature verification has been disabled too

Try this and report. After installing wipe cache, dalvik.
If flashing recovery is problem, reflash stock rom w/ stock recovery n boot ans try again to flash twrp, might sovle the issue

Its power button followed by vol up, but hey that recovery ain't gonna help you. Im just saying you to reflash it as it will erase all the data of current twrp recovery which might interfere with another recovery(changes are negligible, but then too).
I gave you link to a 64-bit twrp made by dreamester and silesh nair. Try it and see if it works.
You can not flash stock ROM from TWRP or other custom recovery. You need a PC with Moto Drivers and fastboot tools installed. Then you have to flash the stock rom from fastboot (generally instructions are given inside rom zip in a file called 'flashfile.xml'). I can't say about flashing JX series ROM (maybe it needs you to be on stock first or something like that) but here are the files needed to install Motorola ADB and FASTBOOT drivers and ADB & FASTBOOT tools on windows pc:

To get into stock recovery press VOLUME UP while pressing and holding POWER button but you can't flash custom ROM or wipe SYSTEM from there. For that purpose use Official latest TWRP recovery from their website.

I already have these installed! But when I run RDS and connect my phone in fastboot mode to the computer, RDS doesn't detect it in the program. I mean, the device doesn't show up in the boxes below. But when I run 'fastboot devices' in CMD I can see my device connected. And can you pleeease tell me how to flash ROMs through the stock recovery?

Stock recovery don't flash roms, thats why we use customs recovery. As he mentioned just flash the stock rom, enable usb debugging and oem unlocked. Just flash the files and again flash the recovery which ever suits you and thats it.
Note : take backup first as it wipes your internal storage.

well, how do I flash...? When I try to flash using TWRP it gives the error. I've tried almost all available TWRP v3+ recoveries

I think reflashing the stock rom is the only thing to do. Read carefully whatever is written in that thread. And see if all the commands are properly exicuted.
I dont know any work around for sim as i have never had that issue. Tell me if its solved or not for just a bit of knowledge.
Edit : just for reference you are not using moto g4 play device, are you?
Standard ROM and recovery cannot be flashed by TWRP, only in fastboot mode.

I dont know any work around for sim as i have never had that issue. Tell me if its solved or not for just a bit of knowledge.

I flashed that firmware 2 days ago and is working fine for me, try flashing baseband then. Idk link for it search in Google for it

that's what I'm looking for. I need the Indian baseband file, do you know where i can get it
