Based off this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wi-NxM1EaXM
Two versions, one uses 720x720 frames and the other uses 1080x1080 frames, but they're both set to 1000x1000 in the desc.txt. The 720p version should run at the intended, proper framerate (45fps) whereas the 1080p one may lag due to the resolution. Up to you which one you want to use.
Either rename to bootanimation.zip and put it in /system/media with rw-r-r permissions, or simply flash one of the flashable zips.
Yes, they have a somewhat-large file size for a bootanimation, too large to be attached in a post on XDA. The 720p version is 42.3MB and the 1080p version is 68.2MB. Reason being, there are 445 individual frames.

The purpose of this thread is that in the past, I've tried many versions and settings in order to get SRT subtitles on my Magician and failed, and now that I've discovered how to do it on the Diamond, i also tried the Magician but didn't work, until i find all the right files
So, I've packed it all up in one single cab that truly installs to \Storage Card and/or Program Files. Enjoy m8s \o/

Thanke you.
Thanks a lot,
Perfeito! Maravilhoso! Wonderful.
Glad you liked
Thank you!!
This is my first experiment in making a bootanimation, so be gentle, please!
It is 480x800 WVGA resolution and works on my CDMA HTC Desire with Cyanogen Mod Eclair.
It's only been tested on my CDMA Desire because that's the only model I have access to right now.
Root Explorer is my favoured method for installing.
This bootscreen shows a small Imp type fairytale creature(from a 19th century book of fairy tales) running across the screen.

I'm planning to update this, including cleaning it up a bit more and adding a background perhaps.
If you try it, I'd appreciate suggestions, although I can make no promises.

Custom animations comming soon
I like this animation a lot - it's slick and beautiful.
Do you know if there is also a hdpi (or higher) resolution version of this animation available? It's quite small on my Nexus4
thanks, been looking for this, looking forward to your next animations:highfive:
Nice, I love the look of this boot animation :good:

Hey guys. This one's for the Zelda fans . I got tired of the standard lock/unlock system sounds on kitkat, and all the apps i could find to change the system sounds suck, so I'm issuing some flashable zips with sounds from Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Apparently, android system will only play ogg files that are encoded at 112kb/s @ 41000hz, so i had to convert some stuff over. Anyway, here we go. Just flash these zips in recovery (PREVIEWS.zip is just a zip file with the four sound files in it so you can listen before you flash).
First one is door open/close from the dungeons (for unlock/lock, respectively)
Second one is the minimap toggle on/off, which is similar to pause/unpause but a lot simpler (also for unlock/lock, respectively)
Let me know what you think! I think they make for a very cool effect!
I bought this radio (and I'm happy with it for now), but I have a question.

I'm bored of Android animation at startup, and I want to put a bootanimation.
As I read in some post, it's required to root the radio, but it have this menu where you can change the bootlogo and animation.
The thing is, I can change the bootanimation really in this menu? If yes, how I can do it?
any help?

Hi there...
Follow the link and you'll find what you need.

Paste different resolution pics and different format of pictures (JPEG, BMP etc). Anyone of these would be suitable.
