Face unlock works for me on b10...I had a different version of Gapps though...does this one have the vendor files for face unlock?

I flahsed this on build 10, everything was working except I could no longer sync my calendar. Reverted back to gapps5.3

FYI - Your latest Gapps for ICS actually broke my Calendar Sync! It was working fine before but now it isn't.
Easy problem to fix but thought that you ought to know. (I copied the CalendarProvider.apk from the My ICS rom which works)

A lot of apps appear, but my exchange calendar doesnt appear to sync.... sad. I think that with calendar fix you mean this...

Calendar sync is working fine for me. Maybe the people with issues are syncing an exchnage calendar, which I'm not doing. Or they downloaded the wrong file.

Hahaha its a great ROM! Hover and all so sexay and I can't wait for dynamic system bars and android l like recents to get open sourced. And its not too heavy either

Wasn't DSB released in BETA 1? I can't find it in Settings > Display..
It supposedly had a bunch of improvements in BETA 2..

You cannot flash custom ROMs on the i537, you can only use SafeStrap.

Catch a bug. Com.android.phone.process is fc each time when I try to dial somebody. Did a clean install. Tried to clear cash of contacts storage, didn't help.

I have some problems. At first when I flashed the rom, everything worked perfect. Battery time is just outstanding(and still is, have been awake for about 11 hours without charging it and still have 75% left), apps worked perfectly without any FC. The problem is that now, a couple of days later, i get "Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped". Facebook Messenger and Sleepbot also stops unexpectedly, without me even using the apps when they FC. Also, the clock has stopped working. Any clues as to what causes this?

@Chainsmoker I have no clue as to why that is happening. Try removing your gapps (you can use the gapps remover script if youre using pa gapps) and try reinstalling with the latest version?
@6783 That's pretty weird... Maybe try reinstalling but this time clear system and data and cache from mounts and storage and see how it goes? Doing that will remove everything in your phone so be warned.
I'm using this as my daily driver and pretty solid for me so far. L Style Recents can still use a little polishing but other than that the rom has been solid for me.

I had the same experience. Aside from the android.phone FC when someone calls me, the phone also elicits a sound that can be likened to a white noise from an amplifier when a device with an incoming notification is nearby. I also encounter frequent FC with Youtube.

I did clean install again and problem is gone after it. So try just to reinstall it

So far the new version only works correctly on devices with Android 5.0 (Lollipop), previous versions misfiring and closures. You have to be root and replace a system file. Anyone managed to get Google Search working? Z1 rooted/deodexed KK 4.4.4 it force-closes although the other apps work perfectly.
EDIT: Also Google Search working great now. Needs the lib file posted in OP.

How to install playstore in to xiaomi mi 5

Just received my xiaomi mi 5 but can't install playstore with regular. Apps.. Any idea?

I connected it with USB Typ C port and send the apps to the device, after restarting it worked.
But downloading direct to the device didn't work.

That app is too old! It's better to take the google installer version 2: View attachment Google_installer_English.apk

You don't need to install Google contacts separately. Once you have Google Framework services installed and successfully signed into your Google account, go to Contacts settings > Display preferences > Configure contact lists and select Google as default.

I have installed gapps but in build in contacts app is no account logged in and I can't getting error that my Google account is already used on the device

I have just got my phone and installed the google installer but i am getting lots of process stopped gapps , google play services etc.
Any ideas?

Share this installer with us

Go to miui app store and search google install the 1st app and click on blue circle it will do everything.

The version of Google Contacts Sync app that comes with the one touch Google Installer V2 app WILL NOT WORK with Mi5. This is because the older version of Google Contacts Sync app is not compatible with Marshmallow. You can download the updated version of the Google Contacts Sync app here:

Follow these steps:
1) If there is an older version of Google Contacts Sync installed, uninstall it first.
2) Install the downloaded copy from the above link.

6) U should have your contacts synced without facing any more process errors.

As far as I know (just checked it on my phone), the google installer is not available in the MIUI app store. Xiaomi removed it.

Having issues with calendar sync too. If I put an event on my tablet it appears fine on the mi5 but it doesn't work the other way round. Can someone check if theirs works please

No Sir, I did this process yesterday only it's available.
Also, I am not able to make Google now on tap work. In google app the option to enable it has been grayed out.
Can anyone help me with this.

I read on the MIUI forum that it's gone and checked the 5th time now. (See attached screenshots). There was a time when the google installer was in the MIUI Appstore but it's now gone.

Installed google installer from inbuilt appstore and everything is working as expected till now. And the best thing is this Rom supports Layers unlike ColorOS. But, sadly there is no Oneplus X radio this time.

How did you install goole play ? I download it from meizu app store. I've tried several times but play store give me error DF DLA 15. I can't download any app from play store

Which version of google installer you installed?
If you have installed the latest one, remove it, clear data and clear cache of google related apps (google services framework, google playstore etc.), uninstall all google apps, reboot and download the version of google installer as shown in the screenshot.
Or, simply flash the rom again and install the google installer version as shown in the image.
To download previous version of google installer, follow these steps,
1. Open inbuilt Appstore
2. Search for Google Installer
3. Scroll to bottom and select View History
4. Select version 1.4.4 or 1.4.3 and install

I just install this rom ...play store is ok for me...but for super su it doesnt work ...how to please ?

I flashed SuperSU v2.71 beta and it's working fine for me.
Had trouble initially as my data and playstore stopped working.
Wiped dalvic cache for data to work again.
And, removed all google apps and reinstalled through google installer for playstore to work.

For me too with a reboot play store didn't work so I can't stay with this rom for a daily use but it's interesting....

Did you tried inbuilt root option?
You can find it under settings->security->root permission
Edit: tried inbuilt root option. It's not working with error "failed to write permission"

Performance is excellent I would say, with a nice UI.
It's not lagging at all as in the previous versions of Flyme.

Yester day I flashed this rom. Rom is very smooth. But the issue, GPS is not locating my location in google maps. Does any body have this issue?
Please help me on this.

It worked for me when set the GPS lock to high accuracy.

Cant download. Can anyone add another mirror?
