Xperia SMS Smileys - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, is it possible to port Xperia SMS smileys to Galaxy Note 3? I've attached a file for review. I know that both Samsung and Sony are using 2 different approaches towards their cell phones but still, I hope to get them on any android.

No reply on this... Ah! My bad....

[Q] X8 and X10 Mini Pro differences?

Greetings, I'm quite new to this, but i wanted to ask, is X8 very different from X10 Mini Pro? I mean on the system part, is the system same or slightly/very different at those two devices? I'm asking, because there seems to be a more living developer community at the X8 section and I'd like to know if some of the stuff applies to my Mini Pro too. Thanks in advance.

[Q] TMOUS HD2 Users Who Have Moved to TMOUS Samsung Galaxy Note 2..???

Hello all. After three years on my trusty HD2 (stock ROM, using Cookie's Home Tab), I am considering taking the Android plunge and purchasing a new Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Don't know anything about Android, so I have a few basic questions before making this move:
1. How did you move your telephone contacts and text messages from the HD2 to the Note 2?
2. How do you like the screen size of the Note 2 compared to the HD2?
3. Any issues with Wi-Fi calling on the Note 2? Didn't have this capability on my HD2.
4. How durable has your Note 2 been so far? Easier/harder to scratch its screen, capable of surviving a minor mishap, etc.?
5. Any other particular pluses or minuses involved with going to the Note 2 (easier/harder to navigate TouchWiz versus Sense, better/worse keyboard(s), etc.) that you'd like to share?
Not planning to sell my beloved HD2, but will likely keep it as a backup device. Thanks in advance for your replies!
Interesting. I just got the note 2 TMOUS. I love it. You can send me a message to my inbox. I'll be happy to respond to your questions.

Just post your comparison thoughts. I would also be interested in hearing from someone who migrated directly from a HD2 to a Note 2.

HD2 was an awesome phone with a veryyyyy bad OS. Since you been using it with Stock ROM, Android will be a delight.
I would suggest you to install Android on your HD2 even if you using it as Backup Device. Forums will Help you With That
1. Android auto-syncs its contacts from Google Contacts. So try uploading/syncing your contacts with google. Do you have your contacts saved locally on HD2? If Yes, extract them as vcf and upload.
2. Cant answer this (I don't own Note 2)
3. Cant answer this either
4. Note 2 has Gorilla Glass 2, so i would be really surprised if its scratched easily.
5. Sense is Definitely charming. But with the Improvement in Touchwiz for S3 and Note2. it would surely be an eyecandy. (Cant help you here also)
But seriously.. Running HD2 on Stock Rom is like Running i3 machine on windows95.. Android on HD2 is highly developed and daily usable.

Req t9 keyboard

I'm not sure why Samsung took their 3/4 keyboard out of the Note 3. I hate swipe and having a very difficult time getting use to the full one. Can someone please post the apk for the xperia, HTC ime, or the note 2 keyboard that is compatible with this amazing phone other wise I will return to my HTC one. Yes, it's that important. .
Hello
bump
There are plenty of t9 keyboard replacements on Google Play. Why not try one of those?
I can't suggest one, as t9 is the thing I have hated most about phones since the day it was introduced.

[Q] Note 3 Watch questions ?

Hi.
1. I have ordered my Note 3 with the watch and was wondering if there are any custom roms for the watch ?
I did look but i couldn't find any so i am thinking they are there but i am looking for the wrong name
2. The Note 3 watch is limited to Samsung stock apps so you cannot read the gmails from gmail app nor can you use any other app for sms then the stock sms app.
Have anyone done any work on this issue so we can use the watch with other then stock apps ?
3. Could someone please explain to me what the forum "Galaxy Note 3 Exynos Android Development" is about ?
Hope someone can answer my questions
yes there are custom ROM's and there is a subforum for the watch:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/samsung-galaxy-gear
for the 3rd question; the note 3 comes in two variants, Exynos processor and snapdragon processor, (SM-N900) and (SM-N9005)
