[Q] lost emei

Hi, My wifes phone suddenly lost it imei and says null/null instead. any ideas how to fix this. Its running jellybean 4.3 model GT-I9505 Thanks for any help.

1. IMEI, not emei
2. do you have efs backup?
3. ROM version?
without these info I can only advice you to send me your wife with her phone for some two weeks.

i need backup of note 3 (SM-N9005)

I don't think that would work. I have a very similar problem with a probably corrupt EFS partition .

i am trying on EFS professional tool and here may be EFS.img.ext4 works for me

Can some knowledgeable person please list all the know causes of the Baseband UNKNOWN and IMEI Null problem . I got this while doing a simple odin update to 4.4.2 KitKat on my Hong Kong 32 GB note 3 SM9005.
Does this necessarily signify that the EFS partition is damaged? Or it could be some other problem as well ?

Whatever you do, do not restore EFS backup if it is not your phone's! Otherwise you end up with hard brick - that is, a bricked phone which can not even be fixed.

Today I gave my phone to a service center that has an SBT/asansam box . let's see if they can fix it. Will post the result soon. It's just the question of weather 4.4.2 is supported for baseband repair on N9005.

MY mobile is not rooted it cannot detect any sim and when i check for imei its showing null somebody please help

Did you just play around with your device and in that playing mood did not backup your efs?

Hi mate ,
You have problems with you EFS folder , is lost or damage, do you have a EFS back up?? if not you have to take to a service shop tho have it fix..
regarding the modem ..it could be...if you have a old modem ( 4.2.2) with a new firrmware you may have a this error , efs format is different try a different modem one for the same version of rom you have

man no need to get panic it's not a big deal as for the file in the link it's not bad the problem the way you flash it
flash through QPST>>>>>software download and you will get the second imei
or if you want your original imei you can do it through hex-editor or send it to me in private message and i will edit the qcn withe your imei

Hey, I have lenovo A6000 plus of internal 16 GB. Few days ago my mobile was suddenly shut down and mother board was faulted.. I repaired it in service centre and they were changed the os from 4.4.4 KitKat to 5.1 lollipop.. After I switch on the mobile, IMEI is shown as null for both sims. I asked in Service centre, but they can't fix the problem.. How do I repair the problem.. Pls anyone tell the solution??
