I'm confused are you saying three separate s4's are doing this or by 3 phones do you mean the s4, one, and optimus?

Okay 3 samsung s4's the original one , the refurb one they sent and the new one they sent out all have the same issue when you dial out it sits there saying dialing nothing happens.. if you take her sim out of the s4 and put in the HTC One it works no problem, put the sim in the LG OGP and it works just fine, put the sim in the LG Nexus 4 and works just fine also put her sim in nokia 920 and it worked just fine so my question is has anyone else seen these issues with the GS4 no dialing out, receiving text messages hours later, and constant phone not on registered network. And she had the s3 before this and had no problem and the store put 2 new sims in it.

Ok just checking.. I haven't seen anybody else with similar issues.. I would go to the at&t store and talk to the manager or call customer service and talk to a supervisor.. Tell them you want an exchange done in store so that you can test it out before leaving... Or you want a different device.. Whichever you would prefer but no matter what I would do it in store so you know it works when you leave

Basically, I got a galaxy s5 on EE (a uk network) it was all good and fine until it got stolen, whoever took it knew what they were doing as I couldn't track it or look at any location history, they didn't get access to any of my stuff though thanks to my fingerprint but i'll get to the point.
my bank replaced it under home insurance (i wish they didn't) because they gave me a refurbished virgin mobile s5 and i'm with EE. so whenever I reset it on kies it installs all this virgin **** and different APN settings and so on. This has also now stopped me from getting any updates like lollipop, friends that have s5s all have it and i'm stuck on crappy kitkat with disgusting touchwiz. (i came from a nexus 5)
I went on sammobile.com and found an EE firmware (i tried putting a link in but it won't let me)
I tried flashing it and it gets to the last step "HIDDEN.img" and it fails. so from here i'm forced to reset it via kies and it puts all the virgin crap on it. is this because of the virgin csc? and is there any way i can make my phone a completely unlocked phone as if i brought it from samsung or something?
thanks.
Tl;dr: I recently sent my Verizon Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) to Samsung to get repaired/looked at and after I got the phone back, it seems to no longer be an unlocked device, as it will not recognize my T-Mobile SIM card anymore.
After calling Samsung and waiting on hold for over an hour, I was told by a supervisor in Technical Support that Samsung does some sort of software flashing whenever they receive a phone to be worked on, and that this "software flash" must have caused the phone to lose its unlocked status. She also said that she has no idea how Verizon unlocks their phones, as Samsung phones are shipped out to Verizon as devices locked to only work with Verizon (or whichever carrier they are being sold to).
Also, I believe that everything on this phone is stock and it's currently running Android 5.0.
Does anyone know of a way for me to get this Galaxy S5 to be SIM card carrier unlocked again?
Particularly, is there a way for me to download/install something and accomplish this myself?
As always, helpful replies will be sincerely appreciated!
Hello everybody
Recently received a Samsung Galaxy S5 originally from Verizon. The Phone works really well Outstanding performance ! but it has no service. Explanatio: I live in Cuba here the cellular operator is Cubacell operates on GSM. The phone finds the signal and notifies in "avaliable networks" tha Cubacel is Available... But fails registering on the network, and i don't know what to do... many technicians already "diagnose" the phone and most of them says is a problem qith QCN file, but what really worries me most is that Board IMEI is not the same the cell shows on *#06# .. so i found all these really tricky since i'm new in Android cause my previous phone was an HTC Windows Phone 8x that suddenly died and revived with no service either (a strange case for other post i hope) The S5 is SiM unlocked everybody says, besides every verizon phone is gsm unlocked by default don't they? The dark story of it is that the phone was previously unlocked for use in another company in the US and was working there perfectly. Right now the phone is running Lollipop, and no problems with WiFi restriction for Cuba so far... Registered on Samsung, on chat they send me to verizon saying phone is locked but i don't think thats the real problem...
So i'm wondering if anybody could help .... since in my country everything is so hard to get ja! and the acces to Octoplus Box or Z3X is expensive.. very...
Phone Details:
Model SM-G900V Android 5.0 Baseband G900VVRU2BOK3
Kernel 3.4.0 Build LRX21T.G900VVRU2BOK3 Hardware G900V.00
Security MDF v1.1 release 4 VPN v1.4 release 4.1
KNOX 2.3 Configuration J13.SAM.SMG900V.1
Thanks a million in advance and greetings from Cuba...
Help please. I bought I verizon samsung galaxy s5 thinking that I could easily use it on t-mobiles network, obivously this is not the case. After much time and combing these forums i have been able to get everything to work except i don't get a voicemail notification anymore (i had previously called t-mobile and they had put in a ticket for it, it was working til last night). Does anyone know how to fix this? my phone is not rooted.
Thanks
