Even if my English s**k bad.. I would like to let you guys think about this:
The situation
The AOKP team will officially support devices owned by the official developer team.
At the moment no TeamKang member has a SGS2.
On the Galaxy S II Android Development forum we can count at least 13 AOKP ROMS for our Galaxy S2.
Most of those ROMS are compiled using a mix of AOKP and CM9 repositories (with some manual patching).
There're 10 people that did the "SAME JOB"
The idea
Create a semi-official "team" to maintain a GalaxyS2 AOKP device tree on github.
This repo will be used as a base for all the personalized ROMs
Each developer/kanger will be able to focus more on his/her respective modifications
I hope most of the AOKP-SGS2 kangers/developers will read this thread and start to join my "XDA Social Group" where we could start to talk and organize stuff
I already invited most of the AOKP thread-owners to the closed AOKP-SGS2 group. If you guys prefer we can talk here or even on irc/freenode.
(fell free to PM me with grammar/sintax bug fixes to this )
great idea
Sounds good. I would love an original AOKP Rom on the SGS 2.
Freenode IRC: channel #aokp-sgs2

"AOKP SGS2 DEVS" come meet us! :victory:
Sounds great and fair

Thats really great .!!!
Hope that this idea will come to life
a great idea
i hope other AOKP developers co-operate
Go team s2Kang ! You can do it!
Sent from my GT-I9100
Yes please! Go for it! Pier you're the man!
I hope a team is made for official AOKP.
But unfortunately ( MY OPINION ONLY ) some devs makes everything only for donations and if they join the group they will be forced to do it for glory or minimum shared funds only. I really hopes that every single one of them to join that group and make something special for SGS2 owners. I MOST IMPORTANTLY i HOPE that i am WRONG about this.
Good luck and hope to create one really strong group and why not even bigger than TeamKang. Great idea Pier
its weird they support skyrocket which is similar to our international variant

no big news yet, but the IRC channel is growing
Finally
Maybe you can think about that like a small thing but..
Bajee11 and Pier, released a ROM together:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1850942
- Common GITHUB repository
- Common gerrit where we (and YOU TOO!) can submit commits
- Common IRC channel (AOKP-SGS2/freenode).
I think this is going to be a good step ahead in the right direction. And of course: we're still waiting for other devs/kangers/fans/users/whatever to join us in this

AOKP will soon have an official i9100 maintainer.
I dont care if this will be Bajee11, me, or others
The most impotant aspect is that we'll have support from the official crew
Our "efforts" with this AOKP-i9100 is to show to the AOKP crew that we (i9100 users) can have some sort of organization and nice team-work.
And well... the 'new' maintainer will have some stuff done for sure
Is ROMControl in other languages fixed?
I used Polish language with M6 and remember that NavBar setting FC ROMControl, Notification toggles were translated wrong (ex. Swag was Data, 2G was Wifi etc.)
Welcome guys once again . I don't want make this thread super brilliant and stylish, it's just for me and you to notice, how's projects going. As you should know (hopefully), I'm back with 3 projects for Xperia X10 (and Play too), so 6 projects at all is not easy way, so I need some place to make everything clear and most important. This thread have this destiny. Don't forget it's not a help thread, they will appear in the right time, when every project will be ready to put on XDA. Thanks for understand and being with me even if I was too quiet too long, but my justification is more projects in one time ^^. See you all, and have a nice day!
Moderators: If this thread is useless in your feelings, please contact me, don't delete it without any words, cause I'll lost many informations . Thanks .

Xperia X10:
1) DiXperia X/10 - the next one version of my longest set of ROMs - it will be based on the newest JB Android, don't know exactly if 4.1.2 or 4.2.2, will se about stability and perfromance, which will be better . I can confirm again big kickass like I always try to make, with best and the newest stuff by Sony, nice'n'clear looks and more! This ROM will have one version only, at least this is the plan for now.
2) DiXperia - Gaming 2 - The best possible to make our X10 devices work and play like a charm for gamers . It will be based on GB 2.3.4 with no-hungry apps, pretty "gaming" framework (maybe similiar to DX8 Gaming version) and friendly clean Android, don't know if I will apply here Sony framework, cause it will eat some performance and RAM + stress more CPU. It will be mix of DiXperia Gaming and DiXperia 8 - Gaming version, with some more tweaks and refresh .
3) DiXperia "Mystery" - The new project, should not be line like numbered DiXperias (1,2,...,9 etc. or Different World or Gaming), but a single, alone version. I'll try listen you here, so you can share me some ideas what to apply here, so I can make ideal ROM for our community. For example, I've heard that DX7 was the fastest ever...Sure, then ROM will be based on it. DX8 was the most beautiful? A'ight, will try to make framework for this similiar to. DX4 was friendly for gamers? I will try to make it gamers-ready (but not as good as DiXperia Gaming 2), so you can play a little on it too . It's only a instantation, but fell free to contact me via PM with your ideas! I think ROM will be based on GB, but no correct words now .
It's a short review of non-exist projects for now, but soon I will start working on all of them, of course I will need help if anyone want to give me a hand . I can say, some things could change in the future, but it's unnecessary in my opinion - all projects seems to have good destiny for itself, and everyone should find something for himself/herself ^^.
Feel free guys/girls to ask a questions, so I can answer it as soon as possible . Thank you for your waiting, and wait once again, maybe longer! 6 projects, with my personal life, school, sleep (crazy!), sports, family etc. will be hard but....If I say something - I always keep one's word . Cheers guys!
Also, don't forget this this is NOT helpful, but it doesn't mean you can't give some advices for me, to apply some things for projects .
And one more, most important - I will need some guys to help:
- 3 persons to make help thread for each ROM (or maybe one person, but I don't know if he/she will hold 3 threads ). [NO NEED ANYMORE!]
- Some graphics/visual buddies to help me with ROM styles and threads look-like. [NO NEED ANYMORE!]
- Stable and certain testers (3 to 6) [NO NEED ANYMORE!]
- Kernel Developer for DXEngine Environment [NO NEED ANYMORE!]
- If you think you are ideal person to help me in anything, like making me coffe or sandwiches, write here some clever idea .
Some news about ROMs:
- DX X/10 is the first I'll start working on, and I'm just collecting sources and looking on my DX9 - long time no developping, it will be hard first few days, but don't worry - I think next weekend will have some good news .
- No news about Gaming project.
- Tell me what you want to see in Mystery - it's yours, I'm just making it .

Initial release on Bloomsday 2015, final stable release Dismember 2016.
Pray tell me, how dafuq do you expect anyone to give you any information on the timeline when nobody has seen the L sauce code, mainly because it hasn't been yet released?
You think that Omni team is clairvoyant or something?
God must love intellectually challenged people, he created so many of them.

Thanks for the friendly answer.
As I'm not a developer and have no glue how it works with android but I like OmniRom very much, I asked myself what's the strategy of this rom.
I don't want to be a stupid user - I want to understand also the backgrounds.

Also, this question has been answered before.
And as you hinted, "we won't have the slightest clue until AOSP source drops, and we have no idea when that will happen"
Absolute earliest for more news is November 3 - but sometimes AOSP source can take 1-2 weeks or more after the first OTAs start rolling out.
We won't have any clue how much work is going to be needed until the source drops. But I expect that this integration cycle is going to be a ***** - LOTS is changing. We'll pretty much have to redo UI/UX stuff for example. Kinda reminds me of when ICS first dropped.

Hope that google launches the source tomorrow. I want so bad to test the new Android.
Hi Guys,
Just came across this test build of LOS 14.1 based on Android 7.1.1 For Mido and made a video preview for the same.
Please Note : This is not my rom and I am just sharing it with the community. Its just a video preview and as per the rules I have not shared any links here or on youtube.
Credits : Abhishek Agarwal : https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=6070905
Heres a Video Preview :
You do understand that you're not supposed to share stuff that outside the forum without permission from the Dev ?
If it's ready for use then it will be released, can't you wait patiently ?

Do you see any links. Have I shared anyone's work? I got access to an early build just like I got for RR. Shared it with the community as a preview of what to expect in the coming days. I don't see any issues with that.

I understand what you are saying. This is just a sneak peak and I have been with XDA for a while, so I would never violate any rules. Nonetheless enjoy the preview.
