As many of you will know, Microsoft has allowed for the use of WP on generic OEM devices that are branded by different manufacturers (such as Prestigio, Yezz, and a plethora of Indian manufacturers, such as Micromaxx and Xolo).
Recently in the news was that consumers ordering the Xolo Win Q900S were accidentally delivered the Xolo Q900S, which hardware wise, is identical to the Q900S, but however runs Android instead of WP. Since Android phones have an unlocked bootloader or are easier to unlock, this lead me to think - perhaps we could have the next dual booting phones on us, if we flashed the WP ROM onto a partition of the Android phone Just some food for thought..

I am looking for a software guru to help me put WM6 on this phone, it is not made by HTC. I would pay even more if the WM6 had my own splash images on it. This is not a hobby thing and I have real money to pay for someone who can help me out, it would not be a one time thing either I would have other things to do down the road. [email protected] if your interested or reply here. You can be anywhere, Russia to China. I am in USA.

Check out the video http://androidcommunity.com/google-offline-gmail-webapp-video-demo-from-mwc09-20090218/ and see the new magic (after the iPhone demo) with the T-Mobile branding on it!!! I think this clears up any misgivings that you may have and clarifies what the next Tmo Android device will be in the US!!! THE SAME AS THE VODAPHONE!!!

it did pop up in the FCC but it didnt have the US t-mobile 3g band (aws). we need more substantial proof i think
How would you flash the magic considering it has no hardware keyboard?
It probably has some other recovery menu which uses other key combinations or maybe even the touch screen.
First we all realize T-Mobile is in the UK as well right?
Secondly, didn't anyone see the leaked images of the new HTC 09 lineup?
I am closing this thread as there are way too many of these threads.

Whats new at Sense 1.6 and what is the latest sense for Desire?
It is probably a phone that is going to be locked and branded to a american carrier(Verizon etc)
HTC Bee is just a code name and probably will be a Verizion Bee or something.
Notice how Wildfire's code name was Buzz?
Buzzing Bee, So it probably an american counter part.

Will Microsoft make a WP7 Sense? It would be so awesome!!!!
What do you need this for when you already have the tremendously crap HTC HUB
I found concept of human killing space washing machine on google, so what? Concepts (all of them) means nothing.
This is a concept by someone who has no connection to Microsoft or HTC at all.
Its a concept and nothing more and it won't be possible to create this home screen (although it looks very nice) - for now. Just wait and see what happens, WP7 is young and maybe will bring us as much developing abilities as android! Just be patient
@upleaks: HTC W8 bootloader supports HTC M8#UL and M8#WL...Devs, can you port Windows Phone 8.1 to HTC M8?

Thread closed,
Thread has been closed as this is still classed as OT at the minute as there is no actual information if windows 8 will be released for the m8. If it is it will likely be a different phone as I cant see the hardware / bootloader being compatible with it.
Remember to search before posting. There have been a few of these threads closed already.
Many thanks,
Ghost
