So I took the plunge and bought the S5 full retail. I plugged my GNEX into desktop and copied all the files out of my TiBu folder to put them in same folder on S5 so I can do a restore of all my appz. I plug the S5 into puter it opens the file window I open the TiBu folder right click paste and I get error can't copy file. Is there something simple I am missing or can change?

Usually it is Windows on your PC that puts it onto any removable storage unless you have explicitly told it not to i.e in Recycle Bin Properties. Once the folder is on your storage card you won't see it unless you are viewing with options for 'Hide Hidden Folders' and 'Operating system' files are selected to view both.
Another reason could be if you are using Resco File Explorer, as that app has it's own Recycle Bin which deleted files are moved to unless you have selected for it not to.
Hope that helps
I think its related to Resco File explorer

Hi,
I have problem I turned on File encryption and used it. Later I noticed that it is possible to copy files with ActiveSync without entering password. I started to think that it useless in the case if my phone will be stolen. I turned it off.
Yesterday, I wanted to copy photos from my HD2 but I can't do that. If I copy files by using ActiveSync 4.5 I receive empty files(size=0). If I copy file in the phone by using Explorer from DCIM folder to another folder the file size also is empty. I connected to PC and used flash as a disk drive in that case I saw encoded files, I copied them to the PC and looked in hex editor the files have some encrypted data.
I even tried to turn on encryption. I copied 1 file using ActiveSync and it has the same addition "94ab5ede.menc" as the files I can't copy.
Please help me. Those files are very important.
Just like the title says. When I connect my A500 to the PC to copy a movie over I will see multiple copies of the folders on my external SD card (currently are three copies of the folders showing). The internal SD card is fine.
If I go to the last "copy" of the folder on the external SD, I can copy files to and from, but if I go to any of the copies, it hangs and I have to unplug the tablet from the PC and reconnect.
Anyone know how I can get rid of these extra copies? If I use Es file explorer on the tablet, everything is fine. It is only when I use windows explorer that I get this problem.
updated drivers?

Drivers are latest.
I am getting ready to try an experiment. I am going to use windows explorer delete everything from the external SD while the tablet is plugged into the computer. I have a back up copy of all the files and I will re-copy them to the SD card (again using windows explorer) to see if it shows only one copy.
This must be a windows explorer thing since I only see one copy of everything when I am using Es file explorer on the tablet. I just find it amazing that no one else has had this problem before.
I used to be able to backup keepsafe by copying the .keepsafe folder that would normally sit on my internal SD, but that no longer appears to exist? I use to be rooted on previous devices so decided to go check the /Data/app directory or what ever, but on Android 5.0 my data directly is completely empty. I have a /system directory and such and can view everything, but the data folder is completely empty which puts me in a hard place. Searched every inch of my internal and external sd card for a keepsafe folder and found nothing. It should be around 1GB but nothing of the sort is around. Checked my sdcard0/android folder ,sdcard0/data folder, and all others. No .keepsafe folder to be found yet all my stuff is there in my safe.
Long story short, does anyone know the directory of Keepsafe as of the latest updates and how I could copy its contents? I have no option from within the app to export all files to a separate drive. Would have to unhide hundreds of pictures and videos, and then export them to a different drive, and then put them all back in a mangled order.
I'm having trouble finding them as well on my computer from my broken phone. I see some different folder for it but it says there aren't any files in it.
Hai guys,
My phone shows two dcim folders and if I delete files from one, files in other also getting deleted. Does anyone having the same problem? How to remove one??

Wow, I'm not the expert but there is one solution I made with the WhatsApp folder that might work,
here it is, "make sure make backup of both folder."
1. Copy both folder in different folder like 'font' Or copy in the PC
2. Than merge other folder by copying content from dcim to DCIM because phone reads DCIM by default.make it is merged not replaced.
3. Now delete both dcim and DCIM folder from internal memory.
4. Than copy that merged DCIM folder to phone memory.
Boom all ok
