i found in
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds
a lot of settings for changing phone sounds like busytone ,dialing , and dtmf tones too
next in
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sound Categories
is the Fedback ,Incall ,Ring where who can change the directory where sound are stored
so a sound skin will be possibly for the phone?

Well, if anyone could get sounds from the HTC RUU, that would be nice...I had it before untill i change the stupid RUU to tmo... Didn't know what i was thinking.
I think the sound file is called 0_in, 0_out, 1_in, 1_out.
(this is specifically from the HTC RUU; those are the sounds i'm trying to get)
but if there's any other sounds you think are cool, feel free to share!
***Actually does anyone have a package of all the sound files that is listed in the "sounds & notifications" tab... None of my sounds are working...
Here something to share. It might be useful for some people. It's the New Alert like in Windows XP that comes usefull when you're online on your diamond. Just copy the file in /windows.

Thanks for the sounds I've tweaked the MSN sound as it was quite a big file (563KB). New size is 54KB , haven't tested the sound quality but I'm sure it will be just as good as I only trimmed the file and put it in mono.

I downloaded them as is, there are some cool rings and notification tones, although the file names are in English on my phone, when I try to select them my N1 shows them written in what looks like an Asian language.

Hi, quick question have the tool as described above on the lg. everything run well great .bloss tile and icons in the menu, where the tiles can be replaced or modified is nothing. can not the three boxes for the input access. now my question: does it not with the lg e900 possible or do I set nor any setting?. hope someone can help me.? thank in advance for reply .sorry for my english

Don't think it has full file access tbh so the answer would be no, it won't be able to change tiles I guess.
I haven't tried the latest but I suspect that it still won't work on LG.

That's the way WP7 works. If you set a long tune as ringer it will play all of it as far as I know. Make a shorter one for notifications.
