Hi mate,
Omega has I9500 and I9505 versions for you it will be this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2253528
The other one ECHOE would be:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2372286
Do not know about the other but with Omega if you follow the instruction should be no problem...fast and ease.

Sorry, mate, "best ROM" threads are not warmly welcomed here.... read specs, feedbacks, flash and taste by yourself...

Hi.. I'm kind of new here.. I have an HTC Cruise with a custom rom made by M. Amine (french).
However, I would like to know what are the most efficient roms out there, with pros and cons if possible...
Anyone could help me please ?
Plus, How can I add applications to my phone ?
Best regards
Any advice please ?
This thread could be also used to compare roms as well..

Thanks, but I've already seen this thread.. It's not enough complete for me
As its already mentioned lot of times, every rom has its advantages and all roms are good. it depends on the user needs to choose a rom

Simple queries

hello guys
i have mobile U8800pro
just i wan't to ask this mobile U8800pro have a GPU like U8800
and this mobile U8800pro is very slowly in the games
can any one help me please
Both have Adreno 205 Gpu. On stock rom huawei is overall slow. U will need custom rom to have good performance.
Your query isnt that simple.
There are more than one reason for slow perfomance (rom you use, cpu clock, name of the phone at build.prop for HD games, etc)
State your current settings so that someone with more experience might help you
can any one tell me how i can get a high performance in the games on my mobile U8800pro without custom rom ???
thanx for responding my questions but i want 2 ask about if there is a custom rom for my device U8800pro of froyo version 2.2.2 with a video explain how to install it on my device sorry for being hasty but i ve my device along ago and i fell it not fast as wish in games or overall interface as i used before motorola defy with froyo version 2.2.2 it was perfect in interface but some bugs with games but overall good performance than my new device U8800pro

Unfortunatelly I have the U8800 non pro, so I cannot be much of a help.
You should consider looking at this link as a start
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Huawei_U8800_IDEOS_X5
There you will find everything about your phone.
Probably you should install a custom rom but be very carefull, as flashing a rom to the wrong kernel/phone might cause big problems.
Read the threads, have patience and eventually you will succeed
Especially see this thread

LAG?

Right , I recently bought a HD2 to test out and try a few roms etc but the problem is that im experiencing lag with all of the roms that I try . Does anyone else have the same problem and how do I fix it ?
I have tried to use a nand install and data on ext install but they both give me a laggy experience .
I have also tried native sd with a class 4 card and im still receiving lag.
I just want to use normal apps like youtube , bbc , bbc iplayer and souncloud etc without any lag whatsoever .
+ the htc desire has a similar processor and ram but that phone doesnt get lag. makes me think im doing something wrong.
Thanks for the help !

Dear Friend ... At first let me tell you that your Question is in the wrong place and you should ask it in the Q&A Threads ... but anyway , about the lag , I think your HD2 needs a new Radio ROM ( If You Have EU HD2 , use 2.15.50.14 Radio ) also you didn't say anything about the bootloader ( if it's MAGLDR or CLK ? - I recommend you to try MAGLDR which supports .RMNET ) also I recommend you to try Typhoon CM7 or HyperDroid ROMs which are smooth and stable ... good luck

Hi , sorry about putting it in the wrong section , The radio is already 2.15.50.14 , the bootloader is magldr and no matter what roms I use , I experience lag . Even on the barbone cm7 roms.
Good ... thanks for the info ...

Alright ... so there should be a problem with MAGLDR ( As you have problem with any ROM you install ) so I recommend you to try CLK or Black LK and then reflash a fast ROM using HD2 Toolkit in the following order :
1 - Do a Task29 ( wipes the phone )
2 - flash CLK / BLK ( Important Note : use the nand partition size told in the ROM's thread for a specific ROM !!! for example , for this ROM use 150 MB NAND and 5 MB cach as the OP says )
3 - flash recovery ( - Optional - if you don't have )
4 - do a full wipe ( data factory reset + cach + dalvik cach should get wiped )
5 - reboot ( what a hard level  ) .... I think this should solve it ... remember that CM7 and some of non sense ROMs are installed on NAND and are faster than Data On EXT / Native SD / SD / etc. like Typhoon CM7 and others ...but , I don't understand what you mean of lag ? ... would you please give more details ? ( about : where / when / how / how long / etc. ) ... good luck

Dear Friend ... you're right ... but remember that Nand memory has a speed about the speed you get from a Class 10 SD which means with a Class 10 SD card , your SD ROMs work somehow as fast as nand ROMs ... But the thing is , he has a Class 4 SD card ( as mentioned in the OP)
which is slow for those ROMs ... but thanks for the advice ... good luck

Congrats Man ... Thank God that you made it ... Would you please name the current ROM ? ... I think you mean the sleep of death which appears in KK ( 4.3.X & 4.4.X ROMs ) in which you should rise the Min CPU Freq to solve it ... you can use many apps like " No Frill CPU " or " SetCPU " to rise the Min CPU Freq ... about the wallpaper app , I don't have any Idea I think if you use another app , you may get wallpapers with the correct resolution ... Hi , I used the Typhoon rom that you recommended, you said the sleep of death appears in kitkat and 4.4x roms but I am experiencing it in gingerbread.
I used a different app named hd wallpapers and it fixed the wallpaper issue.

Well ... Thank God that you don't have any other lag problem and other problems ... about changing the ROM , I think it was a MAGLDR lag and your way to switch a ROM is completely Clear ... about the Sound , I think it should be about the ROM's code and if you switch into another ROM , it would get fixed ... I currently recommend this ( if you like GB - It's Super Smooth & Stable and is really Eyecandy ) or this ( If you like KK - it's the best of the Rest KK ROMs ) ... Good Luck
PS : the AndroPlus ROM is a sense ROM and needs you to repartition your SD card to make it install Data On EXT ... If you had problem just let me Know ... I'm Always Glad to help ... ( Thanks for your Sig :good:  )

Hey , NP about the sig , The sound problem is there no matter what rom I pick its like a crackling sound that occurs for like 1 sec when the speakers havnt been used for some time and then doesnt occur until the next time I play something after leaving the speaker inactive . The reason why i know its not the speakers is that if I connect the earphones but havnt played any media then the first media I play the crackling sound will come through the earphones too.
Also I have searched for a link for BLK CLK but im unable to find it , would be appreciated if a link can be posted.

Yes My Friend ... It's related to the amplifier chipset which isn't completely compatible with android's DSP Manager and makes it do some odd works such "buzzzzz sound " or other things which is not a major problem and would disappear after some time ... Thanks for the info

This problem occurs only if there is any high tone like a snare drum at the beginning. The Volume feels like 300% then. You just have to know your songs then you should be prepared :silly:.

Crash Rom - > Lollipop Rom

As we all know Crash stopped his work and I am now on his 4.2.2 rom.
It's absolutely stable and one of the best custom roms I ever used...but I want to upgrade now and I really don't know which rom I have to choose. What do you guys recommend??
Thx for your wonderful suggestions. Really great to have this question and answer thread up here!
Because 99.99% go and take a look in the thread of the rom to see what it looks like and what features it has and maybe read what people are saying about it and then decide for themselves.
Your question is quite similar to "What is the best rom ?" Which is forbidden to ask, it's the rules.
Im now on Darklord rom 1.5, a Note 4 port, with dark queen kernel 0.4 and it's the bomb.
Happy now ?
Thx!

I forgot... Means you don't know which rom is suitable for your device or you don't know which one to choose ?
If it's the first, there's a "Search this thread" option, just type in your model number.
The instructions are written in the thread, happy flashing.
Just updating bootloader now, Thx!
But more important will be to update your baseband (modem).
