U.S. Cellular Firmware - Galaxy S 4 Mini General

I found the firmware for U.S. Cellular SCH-R890 if anyone needs it. It is from Team US cellulars forums. I re-uploaded it for other people to download if anyone needs it (seeing how it isn't hosted on any of Samsung sites).

G935F U.S.A firmware?

So it appears that Android Pay and Samsung Pay are dependent on the firmware you're running. Since I have a G935F that was meant for the Middle East/Africa, I have that regions firmware, and as such - cannot use Android Pay or Samsung Pay here in the U.S.A until it is supported in the Middle East/Africa. I get a connection error when trying to open SP, and my cards simply don't work when I use AP at a terminal.
The next logical step would be to load the firmware for my region onto my phone, so I could enjoy the benefits of AP/SP on my non-rooted device. However, I cannot seem to find any U.S.A firmware for the G935F. Is Samsung deliberately not making it because the U.S.A has the SD820 version? I deliberately purchased the international variant for its lack of bloatware, and superior LTE bands for use when I travel.
If Samsung does not release anything for the U.S.A for its G935F variant, would flashing U.K. firmware be my next best bet, since the U.K. is slated to get AP/SP?
Cheers!

I would also like to know this. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
For Samsung Pay, your best bet would be to wait 'til the UK release. As for Android Pay, are you sure it doesn't work? My edge has CSC for Afghanistan and Android Pay works.

No Usa firmware for the 935G.....i always get the international variant and I live in the US... All of the firmwares here are branded for specific devices... Tmobile At&t etc..... Samsung pay won't work on our variant until it is released in Europe... Android pay should work though... I usually use the BTU firmware or Netherlands.... Think it's PHN
Galaxy S7 edge

exact same model number, different regions, different android versions

it appears the AUS tab a 8 "SM-T350" stopped receiving updates at March 17th 2017 QA1 6.0.1 while 3 other regions got updated to 7.1.1 QJ1 October 15th and 16th.
I have already seen this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/help/stuck-flashing-region-restart-t3683613 and I am wondering if flashing, for example, the U.S. version (cellular south) on the Australia model (with exact same model number) would be prohibited in Odin or if it does actually flash, what's the likelihood that the bootloader would be inoperable / bricked?
in my experiences, attempting to flash an incorrect (wrong model or old version) bootloader, Odin just errors. but in this case I don't see any reason Odin would refuse to do it

The ROM from different regions will normally flash without a problem. The difference is usually the available wifi channels and the regional locks on apps like Netflix. It is typical for Samsung to release updates by region and if it is a major one, I will usually flash the first region released. Of course I'm talking about Wifi only tablets. Cell phone tablets, because of the differing techs, are another matter.
As long as it's wifi model, region doesn't matter. All wifi tablets sold worldwide actually are the same tablets, so it doesn't matter which firmware you're flashing to it.
However, if you flash US firmware to an Australia tablet, it will only be recognized by Samsung server as an US tablet and follow new updates of US tablet.
Like my SM-T580, SM-P580, when Nougat is available in German or Korea, I did not hesitate to flash the new firmware. When Nougat is available in US, I flash back the US version.
For the purpose of bypass FRP, I am willing to flash Hongkong, Afghanistan firmware if it works with a certain method to unlock FRP ( Factory Reset Protection). After that, I am going to flash back
the latest US's firmware.
In short, you're free to flash whatever firmware you like to a wifi tablet. LTE tablet is a different story as bootloader is locked.

Galaxy S8 convert firmware?

I have an S8 from Rogers (Canada) [G950WVLS7CTC1], purchased from a Flea Market
I live in the US and I am on Verizon, and I saw some guides to flash a firmware from another carrier, like Verizon.
I don't want to dive into flashing a firmware if it's going to brick my phone.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Can this be done?
Thanks!

Understanding model number and build code SM-T500

I recently purchased a Tablet A7 model number SM-T500NZAAXAR. I am understanding that this is a US model, but the firmware is what is confusing me. The firmware is T500XXU3BUJ1 which shows up in several different country models. It is running Android 11 and is the 64gb model.
What do I have? LOL... it is rather confusing. And... if this is not a US Firmware model, can I load US Firmware without issues? This is a Wifi model so I am not worried about LTE or anything else like that.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. And, thanks in advance.

XAR is the "country code" for Cellular South, which includes the U.S. and Canada.
Thanks. I was aware that the device is a US model, but it was the firmware that was confusing me. Whenever I looked for the firmware, it would show as India or someplace else. Now, after more research, I see that firmware is associated with multiple countries. I finally found the XAR associated version and downloaded that file. Thanks again.
