I have a car stereo which integrates with ipod/iPhone/iPad etc, but ages ago I sold off all my iOS crap... Is there a way to get my car stereo to integrate with my note 3? (Hack/mod/app)
I would really like to play my music from my android phone
[I apologize if this is in the wrong forum]

Hello!
I am still searching for the best replacement for my One, the G2 is losing the battle as it doesn't have aptx for BT,S4 has it and now I want to know if Note 3 has too as well.
I am using the HTC Stereoclip in my car and devices such as the Cowon J3 that don't have aptx are nothing as good and loud as the One over BT.
Hey everyone, total newbie so bear with me. I've come across 3 HU's on Ali and I'm wondering are there really differences between the units, specs, good or bad, and the different sellers, again, good or bad? Thanks in advance. Here are the 3 similar units:
I can't post links So Sorry. Search these units on Aliexpress:
JOYING 4GB RAM Android 8.0 Car Audio HU stereo for JEEP WRANGLER Radio GPS system for Grand Cherokee head unit for Dodge Avenger $351
4G LTE 7" Android 8.0 Octa Core 4GB RAM Car DVD Multimedia Player For Jeep Patriot Liberty Wrangler Unlimited Compass Commander $317
Dasaita 7" Android 8.0 Car GPS Radio Player for Jeep Chrysler Dodge with Octa Core 4GB+32GB Auto Stereo Navi Video Multimedia $423
Bump. No one has any experience or knowledge they are willing to share to help a Newbie out?
I'm new to Android head units. Neither of the ones I've tried are what you're after but I'll share my experience.
Only tried two brands; a Pumpkin which was okay but took 30-40s to boot each time and for me I only have single din, the motorized display kept hitting the dash and was at a funny angle. Sound quality was nothing to write home about.
The second brand is a Joying one. The sound quality is absolutely atrocious for me and then it has these buttons on the side which are touch buttons. No matter how much you configure them in the settings, I can never seem to touch the right area which is highly annoying.
In my previous car I had a double din Pioneer which sounded unbelievably good with the stock speakers, unfortunately my latest car only has single din. If you really want an Android head unit, be prepared to not have the best sound quality.
Again I've only tested two but I'm sure others on here will have found what works well.
I recently purchased a Mercedes 2005 CDI and I gotta say I love this car. The COMAND is solid but definitely outdated. I started looking around for drop-in head units and found the 2 big players Avin and Dynavin for the W211. No looking at older posts (2018 and before) i hear a lot of people beating up on the units because they are Chinese made. But present-day it seems like there have been strides and upgrades in chips that are being used. So I'm wondering is there really going to be a noticeable sound difference between a Bluetooth-connected 3.5 mm adapter going through the command and a properly tuned Avin or Dynavin unit going through a MOST adapter to a factory amp and speakers? Looking at XDA it seems like the chips used in the AVIN is TDA7851F (I am waiting on confirmation on this from AVIN). The TDA7851 is actually the same as a pioneer chip (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/a...2171s.3891089/). The Dynavin is a burr-brown (or Texas Instrument chipset) now I'm not sure how plays with the most adapter. But in the end, it seems like the hardware is there for improved sounds. Does anyone on here have objective data to swing the conversation one way or another?
The other question is longevity, I've heard the Dynavin units generally have generally received pretty decent reviews and have pretty decent support. I have not heard anything from long-term owners of the Avin. If there are any on here have your units functioned long term?
I just was searching on google for car stereo with good sound output. Found a few sites in which motorbhp.com stood out of the crowd due to its price for my favorite android and my favorite brand Pioneer. Believe me got it for just Rs. 27,800/-. Amazing: friends. They also have other car accessories and car stereo systems. Here in Kerala its difficult to find stereos at good prices. The offline store was asking for around Rs. 33,000/-. So saved quite a lot of money. And guess what i am going to buy speakers even from motorbh.com.
