Hello there mate, im so sorry to say this but i think you blew your IMEI in the process of what you where doing. If you do not have any baseband version and no network that is a huge problem if not a paper weight device you now own.
I really hope you did a IMEI backup before you started anything, thats the first thing you do after root. Because if your IMEI is corrupted your phone as is good as the stones outside my house.
Really bad news there if it is what i think it is.
---------- Post added at 06:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:26 AM ----------
Just getting your IMEI backup took me days, but i knew how important it is to have one copy of your imei if anything goes wrong while flashing or doing anything to your device.
if you corrupt or mess up your IMEI and do not have a copy, you will have to buy a new device, as long as you don´t want to use your device for gaming only. But forget any phone calls or anything that got to do with calling out and reciving calls.
Even though it took me a few hours to get the damn note 3 IMEI backup & restore to work properly and get a copy of it i did it. Now atleast i can flash and go nuts, because if i do something wrong i can always restore it.
Also there is a new CWM out for some devices that does support restore so please check that out. i got mine yesterday. CWM for the Note 3 - SM9005 has a new CWM that supports both backup and restore.
Just flash the .tar in odin 3.09 and don´t forget if you use odin 3.09 it´s the PA that you use, that is where you put your .tar.

There is fix for this. Serch thred.
Sent from my SM-N9005
This is solution confirmed by user ttav.
Sir to understand correctly i should take following step.
1.Flash stock rom from odin.
2. Flash twrp 2.6.3.2 from odin.
3. Go into twrp and in advanced setting used terminal command and then used mke2fs/dev/block/mmcblk0p12.
4. Again in twrp go in wipe option and do factory reset.
My steps are right? What do you mean by root directory? Plese help sir..

FIX and now Regenerating the probelm again
Guys at last after a week i fixed my SM-N9005 and its work fine..
now I'm trying to regenerate the problem again to be fully documented.
simply i did:
1- install n9005-cwm-recovery 6.0.4.4 then you should be able to adb shell.
2:
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p1
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p2
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p3
:
.
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p11 <--- do not worry about the EFS it will be regenerated in this device. SM-N9005 EFS partition
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p12. <-- EFS partition for other models (but not confirmed yet)
till
mke2fs/dev/block/mmcblk0p28
3- reboot from recovery.
you will stuck in Odin mode with a message "can not find a proper boot".. its ok do not worry.. just flash any kernel.
i flashed DJT_N9005_KERNEL.. then reboot.. wait for the device till fully booted it will be very slow.
4- back to Odin mode as usual.
5- reflash your stock rom.
6- do a full system wipe.
then you are done.
thanks all

Dead Galaxy S4 i9500?

Hi Folks,
I've a S4 i9500 which simply died... I live in Brazil, I've travelled 14 days and left it powered off at home. The day I got back, I've turned it on, answered messages, etc, turned off the screen, put it away. The other day, when I woke up, nothing...
I've took it to Samsung here in Brazil, but as it was bought somewhere else (I think Panamá, the box was in spanish) they said it can't be fixed in Brazil eek:).
I'm trying everything I can, all ideas would be welcome.
I've tried to restore it using firwmare + pit on ODIN 3.09 with windows XP 32 but nothing. it gets like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

}
so, any ideas since samsung won't help me?

Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue

Hi,
I need some help im farily new to any sort of android dev or hacking my phone etc etc.. I am geting the following error after trying to update my phone to a leaked version of kitkat this happend months ago and i finally have time now to get this phone going.
I tried this : http://androidcentral.us/2013/09/how-to-fix-firmware-upgrade-encountered-an-issue-on-kies/
Keis did not reconize the phone.
I want to try this : http://androidcentral.us/2014/02/how-to-flash-firmware-using-odin-samsung-devices/
But i went to samsung-update and downloaded the latest firmware but its been downloading for 2 days. If this is the right path to go down the above instructions does anyone have a faster download link to the file I need?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try going to sammobile.com and download the Kies software. The article you cite is from 2013 and I know the software has been updated since then. You should search in the Q&A section on how to update using Kies. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-sprint/help) Not sure if there will be anything there or not but you will not finding anything in this section about it. There are several ways to update to KitKat in that section. I have never really used Kies so I cannot help you with using the software itself.

You can't use kies, that is for official releases direct from Samsung. You need to download Odin, preferably 3.07 or 3.09 since you are installing Kit Kat. Download the NAE Stock Tar file from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2663619 it is a fast download. Extract the tar file from the zip you downloaded. Open Odin with administration privileges and load the TAR file into the PDA slot (3.07) or AP slot (3.09). Place your phone in Download mode and connect it to your computer. Once the phone is recognized by odin click the start button and let it run. You can get Odin here: http://odindownload.com/
I will try that tonight thanks again

I attempted to flash this firmware to my SPH-L720 and Odin 3.07/3.09 both gave me a PIT error message and the flash failed. I attempted to use a PIT file I found, used the repartition option in Odin but even after using that the OD2 flash still fails. Could someone point me in the correct direction to the proper PIT file for OD2 or upload one for me? Or, point me in the right direction on how to get this flash to complete with Odin?
Thank you very much!
I tried doing this.
Instructions:
1. Download and Extract tar above and download Odin
2. Put phone into download mode (power off, then power button + Volume Down, then volume up when prompted)
3. Open Odin (right click > open as administrator)
4. Load stock tar into the PDA slot
5. Start flashing
6. Grab some popcorn because it will take a while
7. Profit
I downloaded the odin file. After extracting I got two files - an MD5 and an extension file. My phone is plugged in to my laptop. My phone is showing the android logo and says "downloading... Do not turn off target!!"
When I try and follow the instructions given, at #3 I get stuck. I can't "open as administrator" - there is no option. I'm running windows 7.
I did not change the file name or anything. Am I doing something wrong? Missing a step? I am a bit of a noob but I can read and follow instructions.

try ignoring the administrator step. Just open up odin and proceed.

I figured out what the issue was. Even though I was using a brand new Samsung cable... I changed both the cable and the computer(9 years old) I was using. Doing so allowed me to bring the phone back to life and flash this along with the modem after the reboot using Odin. Thanks for putting this up on the site!
How long should this tar take to flash? I saw in the other thread a line about it taking awhile but its been on writing system for a good 45 minutes. I've never flashed anything in Odin that took longer than 5 minutes so just curious if I should abort or let it keep rolling along.

Only about 15 mins
Is the OP still fresh? I just got this Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 SPH-L720T yesterday and good ol' Sprint aint what she use to be? Are the golden days of the SPH-D700 & 710 behind us? I'm not new to flashing but, it has been a while.. I saw someone post they flashed this and a modem. Then I seen some other posts talking about bootloaders? Do we have to play Legos with getting stock firmware now? I remember having multiple nandroid backups of CM, PacManROM,SlimBean, AOKP.. Things sure have changed a lot..
But, back to my original question, is the OP good for stock firmware or do we need to piece together bootloaders and such? I really want to root and flash some custom ROMs but, the beauty of the Epic 4G was that you could just go back to a fresh slate in a matter of seconds. Seems like a lot of the "stock" ROMs here are pre-rooted and pre this and pre that..

Already tried before posting. OEM unlock and USB debugging is not activated, so the phone's not taking a custom recovery. Downloaded 10+ different firmwares from sammobile, still AP is returning with invalid MD5 error in ODIN. Some even can't unzip. Same results on 2 computers. Don't know what am doing wrong.

OK bro. just try this last steps.
Found some bootloader and modem thanks to this person djb77. here is the link for his rom,
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/rom-galaxy-project-t3792787
just click on link below and download modem and BL.
Here is his modem link
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=271403
and here is bootloader link
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=271397
CLick on your device version in the link and select the modem and BL of May 16, 2019 and download them as they are latest.
Now i hope you already know that you must have installed samsung driver and you must be using Odin3_v3.13.1
Now boot in download and connect it to pc. if desktop use the backports of usb. Now in odin(try run it as admin sometime) click on BL and select the Bootloader which you have downloaded. And then click CP and select the modem you have downloaded. and click start. Sometime antivirus mess things up too. Try turning it off too.
this is last from me brother. if it works which i pray it should then i would be glad. if it doesn't work. then i am sorry bro.
I will fix it for you by teamviewer But i won't be taking bounty ?

NISAR Ahmed NISAR is helping me get if fixed. Some progress as it took some rom on Odin, not booting to recovery now, but stuck on boot screen. Hopefully tonight.
Just my two cents-- but I'll bet you might be using the wrong version of Odin. I was in a similar bootloop after I tried flashing it with an Odin I found in some S7 Edge threads and it kept failing with all different types of firmwares. Odin3_v3.13.1_3B_PatcheD is the version that worked for me.
That is true, use correct odin version plus correct rom plus correct method, always know what you are doing or there is a chance you will even make conditions worse..
Also, be specific in your op, tell what you were doing when that started happening, which rom were you using before and your exact model and firmware, so others can help you easily and readers may get a benefit if there is a solution.
Pls, this is not general help forum, post all help related queries on related forum.
