Move notification bar to bottom. - Galaxy Note II General

Hello.
I am using Note 2, Omega ROM (4.4.2). Is it possible to move notification bar / panel to the bottom of the screen?
Z.

As far as I know, you can set your DPI to 180 or less, so your phone goes to tablet UI.
You can set it for all apps, or using by http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-app-settings-v1-7-1-2013-12-15-t2437377 , for system UI.
I haven't tried this but it should work.

[Q] Custom notification bar width

Hi Guys,
I've just discovered how to up the LCD density of my Streak and I love it at 180. Only problem is, I'm using Launcher Pro and I always use the phone in portrait mode.
Now...
The notification bar is split into 4 segments. With the density set to 180, the third segment from the left that actually shows the notifications is so small I cannot see any icons.
Is there any way of defining the width of these segments? It is such a waste that the second segment from the left (the one that show the network and recent apps) is so wide.
Thanks guys
Kris
if u wait for a few days , u will get 2.2 and the notification bar is going to change to stock in android

No I won't, that's only for 00 baseband Streaks.

TabletUI VS PhabletUI Vs PhoneUI

So Actually I was going to write a thread about the two themes present in the samsung's TouchWizUI: White and Blue.
My Galaxy Tab 2 P3100 i.e. tab shows me only white theme while the phones shows the blue one.
But while messing with the LCD density I found that the firmware Actually has both of the themes.
so I started experiments on my tab with different LCD Densities and found that while we have both of the themes but we actually have all the three UIs with us too.
It's been the 4.1.1 update that made me loose my fav tabletUI and make it to the PhabletUI.
By changing Lcd density, we can see the changes in the UI.
Please see the attachments for Screenshots.
Range:
Below 140 is the TabletUI with the white theme.
Between 140 and 160 is the PhabletUI with white theme
Above 160 is the PhoneUI with the BLUE theme
though changing LCD density to other than 160 will make the touchwiz home and keyboard app to crash.
but using alternatives [launcher and keyboard app] can make it cool.
also densities greater then 160 [phoneui] will also cause the camera app to crash and the UI will change the camera Icon with a cute little green android.
Review:
TabletUI:
1) Samsung white theme is seen
2) There is no bar on the top
3) Notification bar opens from bottom
4) Battery percentage Is displayed
5) Even on rotation to the landscape, button bar [The one with the back, home and recent buttons on, sorry don't know the name for it] stayes at the bottom
6) In lockscreen only bottom bar is present
PhabletUI:
1) Samsung white theme is seen
2) Bar on either side of screen i.e. Notification bar on top and the action bar [let us give it a name] at bottom.
3) notification comes from top
4) notification bar doesn't fill the screen
5) no battery percentage indicator
6) On rotation each bar stays at there respective position.
7) lock screen differs from tabletUI as there is only top bar not the bottom one.
PhoneUI:
1) Samsungs's beautiful blue theme is seen.
2) UI almost same as PhabletUI with each bar on either side of the screen
3) Notification fills the home screen like what happen in a phone
4) When orientation changed to landscape, the Bottom action bar shifts to the right
5) Gestures in the bottom bar used to open google ow is not present.
6) Battery indicator is blue in color while it is green on the other two modes
7) When connected to PC via USB, Battery indicator neither shows a cross mark nor it shows charging.
8) Settings menu now don't have the dual panel
9) Camera icon replaced by android icon
100 Camera app is crashed
I also see a little performance boost when in phoneUI made.. may be because of no TouchWiz mode.
[Note:
Remember to install a launcher before changing the LCD density because it will make your TouchwizUI to crash and you will not able to select your apps from the app drawer.
Rather you can also put your build.prop editor in the homescreen shortcuts so than you can use it from there. but make it before the changes, you will not be able to make changes in homescreen shortcuts as it is a part of TouchWiz home and on opening, it will crash.
Your replies are appreciable.

This is why its best not to mess with stuff you dont understand lol... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2081640
Easiest way to change modes is to use a custom ROM. AOKP being the better choice. DPI changer built into the ROM If you wish to add a custom theme ( set it to 159, default being 160) and you can switch modes via ROM control and a quick reboot. I'm sure the OP knows what hes doing , just giving some advice to less experienced users.

I know that custom roms have better control on modes but the motive of this post to tell others that we already have the three modes with us along with the two themes ON STOCK ROM.
For those who don't want to shift to a custom rom or argue that we lost our UI after updates. This post is for them.
Less experience lol
I agree with you totally , but the amount of threads in this forum where people have messed with stuff not knowing what they are doing are plenty. Hey I was one of them when I joined the forums :crying: I've had bootloops by the dozen and even totally bricked a device by flashing the wrong thing on to it , an expensive mistake to make.
I actually like the stock ROMs , just that i prefer total control over the ROM i use, a personal choice ....same as yours ! I was just offering advice to new users. Basically make sure you know what you are doing before you do it or use something that's designed for the job if you dont.
Finding out how to recovery from a bootloop and how to restore a device from a nandroid is a must.
I do find it strange why people stay on stock , not even with root access.Surely that's what the spirit of Android is about, what makes our tabs different from the locked down nature of the iPad. Obviously its the users choice as they paid for the device , just an observation.
Have fun with your DPI

we won't learn to stand unless we fall.
okie I was infant about the bootloops. but I've learned from it.
I've previously use many custom roms and flashed my xperia many times. even bricked it a lot. Flashed , bricked and recovered.
I guess thats how u learn.
and regarding staying at stock was because this tab and its TouchWiz is new to my hand and want to learn it before trying something.
Trust me custom roms are not so far from me.
Amen brother ! If you have never had a bootloop you're not an Android fan
I actually got the phone UI by mistake on AOKP M1 > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33898491&postcount=440 ,seems really strange on a tablet. But was fun messing with it. As for stock....Just about to flash the new official-ish JB on to my tab and give it a spin , be rude not to IMO.
Get a custom ROM on your tab you will love it, what you got to lose ? Can always flash back.
If you are concerned about warranty issues > http://www.xda-developers.com/android/triangleaway-reset-flash-counter-tool/ :good:

Enabling Tablet UI

Is it possible to enabnle a tablet UI with an exposed app? Usual tablet ui mod doesnt work with Fusion v6.2, I tried to changing dpi of sustemui to 160, and in few other apps. It works with settings etc, it enabnles tablet ui in those apps, but it doesnt work with system ui. It still shows buttons at the bottom and notification bar at the top. i want them all at the bottom, and buttons like back home and recent apps at the left side, is it possible with exposed app or any other way with Fusion ROM?

[Q] Problems with Hybrid Properties

I'm on Stock UI with a Navigation Bar on my HTC One and i get this random line now which is really annoying, also when i go on phablet mode the status bar is too small and if i put it on 480p dpi (Because it also doesn't set it on the dpi it says it will) Status bar is too big and covers everything.
The Tablet UI is the most functional right now.
I'm downloading the RC Version and i'll try that out.
EDIT: No luck still, why does no one help me?

black theme keyboard settings.

in settings i set my nav keys to black for the on screen back app switcher ect buttons , have a black theme installed and also running nova launcher with swiftkey keyboard , no matter what i change i cant get rid of the white popup menu at the bottom , the nav buttons , is there any reason they wont change to black like the color i have set under settings on the phone.
also like to have the white box where you enter text to be black......
Navbar Apps in the Play Store
thanks that seems to work , however seems to slow it down just a tad
Man this drives me crazy.
Not tried it but I read somewhere that the colours can be set for different apps, depending what app your in when setting the colour.
I have mine set to full emersion so the bottom navigation buttons and top status bar are hidden. Looks neater and gives more screen to apps.
