Every time I try to uninstall, my soft reboots.
I have tried with internal and 3rd party packages.
Currently using Omni with Samsung S3 i9300.
Any fixes for this?

A few days ago I updated cyanogenmod on my phone to a nightly build and found a weird problem. Whenever I installed any app and rebooted the phone, the app would always force close when it was opened. This problem kept occuring even if the cache or the data was cleared, and the only way to fix the problem would be to uninstall and reinstall the app, which would last untill the next reboot. Also, some apps would not appear in the app drawer. I tried to install a stable firmware, but the problem still exists. Is there a solution?
It even got rid of google play! The only way to get it back is to uninstall the updates and then reupdate it.

On my i9505 I found that if I go to battery in settings it says settings not responding. On my files it doesnt allow me to move files from internal to exterbal storage. Third party apps have same issue on s4. Strange. Thinking of switching and flashing the google play edition on my s4 as the touchwiz firmware seems to still be in alpha state.
try factory reset... touchwiz is far from 'alpha state'.

Strange problem I am having.
I am running Eclipse 3.0 on my Galaxy S4 (4.3) on SafeStrap 3.71 in ROM-Slot 1. I purchased Nova Prime - and tried uninstalling the launcher to install the prime, was unsuccessful and every time I attempted installation of it, the phone would reboot. I have referenced several threads and nothing allows me to uninstall the launcher. I thought this was a problem just with Nova, until...
I tried installing my paid version of Titanium Backup (cause that was a suggestion to use to uninstall the launcher) and even after uninstalling the free version, I went to install paid version, restart occurs without the installation.
Also, just tried to install my purchased version of XDA Developers, same thing. The download completes, but in the middle of installing, it reboots.
What could this be? Let me know what other information you need.
(NOTE - I just switched from my droid bionic to this S4 that I purchased from someone)
I am running 3.0 when there is a 5.1 available. Oh dear. Will flash the updated ROM and let you know.
Update: Unable to get that ROM up and running. WIFI would not turn on and network wasn't showing. Looks like I am having to learn from scratch this phone I have. Nothing going to be easy... yet...

In order for phone not to reboot you must install xposed and the module play store disable encryption on order to stop the reboot when installing paid apps this is a issue with the ROM on GS4

I have a Samsung Grand Prime SM-G530H, that when you start the camera had errors so I decided to get the apk from Link2SD.
I Uninstall the Camera app and restart the phone and try to install it from the apk obtained but always get the message has not been performed the installation.
After searching several solutions on the internet I found none, so I decided to do a hard reset from the recovery. But the camera app still not within the installed applications.
I have the apk but not how to install it. If I can help him appreciate it.

I'm new to this forum and tried to find the answer before posting this but couldn't find the answer.
The problem is that my phone keeps restarting on custom roms.
It happens on various custom roms i tried cm12.1 and a couple of others. When i first install the custom rom it all seems fine. Even after a couple of restarts it all works okay untill the moment that i install all my apps that i use.
After a number of installed apps the launcher app trebuchet keeps crashing and after that my phone is in an endless boot loop.
Does anyone else know of this problem or have a solution to this weird problem?
Ps. When i revert back to an twrp backup of my old 4.4.2 system all is fine and no bootloops anymore.
I also tried installing nova launcher instead of trebuchet because i tought it was trebuchet related but that didn't work. (I uninstalled trebuchet completely).
Please let me know if you need more info from the phone.

Did you consider that one of the apps you install is causing the problem?
Try installing apps one by one, and be aware that some apps designed to work in Android KitKat or less may not work on Android 5 or higher.
And some apps have multiple versions for each android version, so it's better to install your apps by downloading them from the play store.
