[Boot Animations] Retro Cartoons - Nexus 5 Themes and Apps

I had fun reliving childhood making these boot animations. They are from cartoons from the 1950's and 60's. I hope you enjoy them.
To use:
In /system/media rename your existing boot animation to bootanimation.zip.bak
Download the boot animiation of your choice and rename it bootanimation.zip
Copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media. Don't forget to see permissions to rw-r-r
And here are the boot animations:
Bugs Bunny, http://d-h.st/nao
Yosemite Sam, http://d-h.st/v9Y
Foghorn Leghorn, http://d-h.st/KiA
Road Runner, http://d-h.st/AG9
Mighty Mouse, http://d-h.st/fBX
Bullwinkle, http://d-h.st/F5r
Woody Woodpecker, http://d-h.st/2bk
And here are some short samples

Awesome idea. Any chance you could do the 1980's transformers ??

@jd1639 I closed your other thread where this all started, so you only have to maintain one thread with these. Nice work btw and I am close in age as well, so nice to see these come up again. Maybe a Tom and Jerry?
ProTip: If you want to save your current bootanimation in System/media, you can always drop your "new" or test one in /data/local and set your permissions and it will boot up with that one. Don't like it and want to go back to your original, just go into /data/local and delete bootanimation.zip. Not sure how you have them packaged as I haven't downloaded yet, but if they have the meta-inf and all that, just unzip the file and find the bootanimation.zip and pull that to put in /data/local. Should be /data/local/bootanimation.zip

[Q] Any experts out there?

I can't seem to find a solution to my problem. Please see attachment. Basically, I cannot use my camera or gallery because of a No External Storage Available message. I wanted to take pictures and clips over the holiday period (I haven't got a proper camera)... I would be very grateful for any help! Cheers!:fingers-crossed:
It would help if you attached a screenshot of your Storage screen in Settings. That will show what is available and what is used. Perhaps we can find your memory hog.

Hi! No, it's the 8GB model, one of the very first batch...
I may very well have deleted the image folder when I was having problems with the update to 4.2. It would be great if you could tell me where to put it back (under pictures?) and what to name it. Thanks!

Could be a log file. I'm not sure what it is. I would scan again once it appears. Not sure if it is I needed file or not. I don't have a nex 4 but was looking into getting one that's why I'm at the forum.
You can try sd maid which has a system cleaner. Or change the files permissions if you are worried about it transmitting data. But I wouldn't mess with it too much until you figure out what it is.

Adobe flash, high chance that the stock browser won't support it seeing as how that seems to be the case on the S4), but Boat Browser and Firefox are just two of many options if you need flash.

I've noticed the volume on the Note 3 to be the same as on the 2, however the sound seems to be much better. Especially when using an external speaker via bluetooth.
Sound is better than sgs3 but it is a lot quieter. It badly needs an amp

Viper4Android allows you to customize headphone sound and phone speaker sound separately just like a few other equalizer/sound mod apps do. It's available in the Play Store and it works wonders. The sound I got out of my old phone (S3) and my current phone (Note 3) with V4A made a huge undeniable difference.
Link to download the .apk and install from Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vipercn.viper4android4x&hl=en
It has multiple types of volume boost functions along with a great equalizer and many other useful features.

When u unzip the file preferably in root expkorer there are two folders in the file go thru them one has 2 file in it one has 1 file in it. The one that has one in it is the one u need follow the folders name that that file was in and put it in the corresponding folder in system. what did you use to edit setting db? i cant get it to edit without crashing
This has been done for a while:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2719582
That being said, I skimmed the thread and I don't think the author posted exactly what settings were changed in the corresponding files. Even though it mentions all variants, sometimes the apk's vary between carrier software versions, so if you do intend to copy the files to the corresponding places from the (presumably 2.1 ODEX) zip in the OP of that thread, make sure you make a backup just in case,
Also, realize that you may be at risk to bootloop and unable to access adb if the boot procedure stops early, thus forcing you to reflash the original factory ODIN file, which means you'd lose any data/settings by reverting to factory defaults.
Hey guys I've beetn working on this a little bit. Check out this thread. It looks to be a difference in the services.jar file where the very obviously states "This feature is disabled" multiple times. It's in a folder called SmartBonding.
