Icon click issues - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My touchscreen works just fine; however, I randomly have trouble clicking on an app icon if it is placed within a folder in the app drawer.
Apps that are not in folders within the app drawer open upon clicking just fine.
Anyone else notice this?

Missing apps

Has anyone noticed that some of your paid apps are missing from the app drawer? The only way I can find some of them is to go into the Play Store and search for the app and open it that way. It shows as being installed but doesn't show in the app drawer. They aren't disabled and hidden because of that. I noticed this problem both before and after rooting. I'm still using the stock launcher though. Perhaps they would show up in Nova Prime?

I finally got my apps to appear. In the app drawer hit the menu button. Click on Hide/Show apps. Hide the app that is hidden already but not shown being hidden. Go to the home screen and then back into the app drawer and Hide/Show apps. Uncheck the hidden apps and they'll magically appear in your app drawer.

[Q] Lost apps in drawer

I moved Chrome from the Google folder to the desktop and subsequently removed it from there. Now it no longer shows up in the folder or the app drawer. It is still installed and I can open it if I search for it, but I can't find the icon to place it back on the home screen. I even uninstalled The Update AND Re updated It To No avail. Thanks for any help getting it back
Check your frozen apps on the far right tab under Settings - Application Manager. Unfreeze it. One bug I have noticed so far is if you drag and drop into folders in the app drawer as soon as your restart they dissappear. Best way to add apps to folder is to add them via the plus sign button.

App drawer bug

Guys. Wondering if anyone has the same issue ?
I have organized the apps in my app Drawer into folders.... however after I restarted the phone.. the app Drawer does not memorized it... all the apps that I put into folder now no longer organized... however the folders are still there , just with out the apps...
I tried this on both mine and my wife ...
Works perfect for me - restarted several times today and my apps are organised as i left them.

App drawer folder behavior is dependent on their name

Has anyone else noticed the app drawer folders in the stock ROM behave differently depending on their name?
I noticed it with the Google folder, the + icon that lets you quickly add apps to a folder is disabled for certain words, like Google. You can see the difference in the screenshots where I rename it and the + icon in the bottom right disappears/reappears.
I assume this is standard (if useless and annoying) behavior?

Disappearing Apps on Home Screen

I have two questions and apologies in advance. I'm helping someone and do not actually own or use this phone myself.
1. App shortcuts on the home screen have been randomly disappearing. So far the camera app, chrome, and one other app has disappeared. Is this a known recent bug or has anyone else experienced this problem?
2. How do you add apps to the home screen? Holding the icon in the "all apps" drawer screen does not allow me to drag and drop the icon as an app shortcut onto the home screen.
Many thanks!
