I'm having a problem with my defy I can't install apps or receive sms, and i noticed that the total internal memory is now null. How can i solve this? How can i make android recognize again my internal memory?
I installed first the latest CM then i tried to solve the problem by flashing teh stock sbf and a custom one, unfortunately nothing changed and by the way i can't even wipe Dalvik and cache from teh recovery.
P.S. My defy is the red version

I searched but could not find the answer. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I am a semi-noob.
I've been trying to find the right rom for me and I installed cm10 with no problems.
After that, I tried cleanrom v1.1, but it would not boot.
Since then I cannot write or remove files from internal sdcard.
Can someone point me in the right direction to remedy this situation?
can you not remove from it when you are booted into the rom or when u r on PC ?
format it and do data reset, wipe cache in recovery, flash the rom afresh .

I was unable to remove files when booted into the rom. I did not try from PC.
Formatting the internal sdcard did the trick. I wasn't sure if that would be destructive.
Thanks for your help.
formatting storage solves 60 percent of most of our small time problems, even for symptoms like rebooting / freezing etc
but keep a back up
Hi, everyone.
After a stuck at CWM Recovery (I forgot unlock bootloader, so why it stuck).
I do some configure (when I think custom ROMs has problem) likes wipe everything, format everything, install a CM10 ROM from external SD card
I used B2CAPP to recovery to Original ROM V20B (it take 3 hours ).
Everything is okay except storage. Available storage is too low.
Like this picture (I have to use an other phone because I can't take a screenshot with L7 due storage problem)

Problem solved . Just factory reset
My friend has a Defy, and I have tried to install Kitkat to it. I was almost successful, but gapps dont go it, and booting is very-very slow.
I figured it out that there is a recovery error: cant mount /cache, and cant format is. I think cache is needed to boot faster.
And I cant to install any aps because "no internal memory space available"
I made a full wipe before install, format sd, system, data... etc.
When kitkat boots, statusbar is OK, quickbar OK, so i can enter Settings, do connect wifi, bluetooth, etc, but I have no launcher. Internal memory seems to be 68MB (defy has 2GB i think).
After restart, all changes lost.
Do u have any idea to re-create /cache partition (i have TWRP) and make internal SD visible to OS?
Thank u in advance
Which gapps did you install? You need the minimal version of BaNkS gapps.
I installed the minimal.
Did you try to wipe, install only ROM first, boot the device, and then reboot in TWRP and install lastest minimal Gapps?
Sure.
I installed back CM 7.2, it works perfectly
Hi ppl,
yesterday i flashed my defy mb525 to cm10 android 4.1.1, after flashing my internal memory shows TOTAL SIZE 0.0B.
1. i thought of wiping once again, i can't goto the option of recovery mode.
2. i can't able to install 2init from my sd, stating "to remove any of application from internal memory".
3. i thought of doing factory reset, but the internal storage option is not showing.
Kindly help me with this issue. :crying:
