My beloved L720 shortcurcuit over the weekend because of a faulty USB cable. Asurion sent me a brand new S4 but unfortunately it's a 720T .Already rooted which triggered Knox but who cares Sprint hardly covers anything these days. My problem now is that I don't have Internet I've been using my Hotspot to surf the net for a few months now until i can afford Internet again. So can anyone direct me to a Hotspot fix for the 720T? No hack for the triband. If you read the triband specific threads someone has found a playstore wifi tether app that works, but is not as good as the hotspot mod.

Its because the lack of developers having the Triband version. Most get it right away so that's why most devs have the regular version.

Working tethering! ! ! ! ! !! !
Hey everyone, I got Wifi Tethering Router to work on my rooted SPH-L720T, this should also work on SPH-L720. The app worked with the basic settings, no configurations required.

almost every custom rom has working hotspot. im currently running sokp latest version. task650s latest also works. infact ive only found 1 rom here that hotspot didnt work but im sure its been fixed by now.

Can somebody make a app that works for HTC EVO 4G USB tether that works good and how to remove sprint hotspot so the app will work or run right ..and is there one already out there I look on the market and they all suck or there just WiFi I need it for pc.. sorry if so direct if any body can do it u guys can smart people lol ....all and yes I am rooted .

I'm unsure if FoxFi plays nice with anyone on 4.1 and above. When I updated the Droid Razr M and (T-Mobile) Galaxy S III at my job to 4.1, they both stopped working and FoxFi suggested that I use PDA Net. I haven't tried it since then, but I'd love to know because I'm looking to use FoxFi on my Nexus 4 when it arrives.
Why is there a need to use a 3rd party app? The wifi tether built into the OS works fine.
I think doesn't work on truly unlimited.

Change the user agent on your pc to an android phone from the carrier.
It functions, but the Tether built into Android works...
Note tethering on Straight Talk is against to TOS.

I just purchased a samsung galaxy s4 from the HTC EVO where I use to have the cyanogen 7.1.
Very nice upgrade if I don't say so myself.
I noticed in the wifi settings that there's the enable hotspot .
Is this free from sprint or is this something that I'll get charged from?

1. LTE is already activated and working, on the GT-I9505.
2. Maybe LTE isn't available in your Country/Area.
3. Wifi calling is already supported.
4. What is the current Rom you are using now?
My current Rob is echo vs full the phone was bought in Australia but I live in the us

anybody out there able to help please just would like to know if I can use TMO rom on a 9505 live in LA and was bought in Australia flashed echo rom V7 flashed MJ5 and still only ever H+ on signal str and always have 4g lte on my note 2 please if someone could help or tell me if there is a Code I can use to turn LTE on

That is what I have done, just remember to flash a TMO kernel after flashing a rom.

I picked up a used M919 and am using it on AT&T LTE with no issues. Not only that but I am running the latest I9500 KK leak and it works flawlessly. Freedom!
