Why this Thread added here?
Because i hate to see bricked devices
I have seen a few guys flashing Recoverys on their Galaxy Tab 2 wich were not compiled for the Tab - some of them broke their EFS Partition because of their fault!
I compiled all recoverys from Source myself (if i don´t mentioned it different) for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Family.

Thanks for this AA! Everything in one spot. If we're dual booting and want to use Aroma Filemanager and want to use in both recoveries, then we flash in both primary and secondary, correct?

this will only add new open recovery.
just like CWM Recovery.
this has a better UI.

I've been using TWRP since day one on my EVO 4G LTE, the interface is much better than CWM, also CWM doesn't seem to have a system wipe option. I like to know my system is squeaky clean when I flash.

FYI I flashed this to my P5113 and it works just fine, so you can add the model to the list. I guess i'm a guinea pig.
The IR blaster is the only difference between it and the P5110.
Is possible , to have, a detailed guide, to use TWRP?

I think its the same as rhe normal recovery.
It has only the advance touch based.
And better UI
Not sure but if any p5113 user can test 5110 version recovery on 5113.

The p5113 users uses the files of P5110.
This project has been discontinued due to Ubuntu Touch maturing and no longer needing to be debloated. Thank you to everyone who supported this.

Boot into recovery.

Reboot system.

People may be labeling it a "beta", but it's still a developer preview. Most improvements have been under the hood. Not much different than earlier Quantal builds, but much more responsive.
I just wanted to let you know that your work is very much appreciated. Your thread and the mailing list are what I follow now to get my Ubuntu Touch news. Thank you for the updates and thank you VERY much for the pre-debloated zips.

Hi there, i have a unlocked and rooted nexus 4 running AOKP JB Milestone 1, what do i need to flash to get the Ubuntu Preview on my phone is it raring-preinstalled-armel-mako.zip firstly and then the phablet-armhf.zip. Thanks
It looks like the debloated zip is the first link. You should make the link DATE - debloated just to be clear.
As for flashing:
1) Download armel+mako, and phablet preinstalled
2) Make nandroid backup in recovery
3) flash mako+armel THEN phablet preinstalled
4) boot to recovery and restore nandroid backup from earlier to restore android

What do you need:
Galaxy S4 Active (GT-I9295) WORK NOT ON AT&T SGH-i537 !!
ClockworkMod
How to flash:
ROM downloaded
I9295-xxxx.zip push to your SD Card
boot in the CWM
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP!
a full wipe is absolutely necessary
Cache and Dalvik Cache wipe
install ROM over CWM (wait a few minutes)
you dont needed to install any GApps (all GApps included in the ROM)
reboot your Device (the first boot can take a little bit more time 5-10min)
if it after 10min not boot, reboot in CWM, make a full wipe again and reboot!

Great work! I hate the Samsung interface.
Does the camera not work because of a kernel issue or the camera app ? Can components from Samsung's ROMs be swapped in to make the camera work ? (ie. kernel and camera app). I'm a n00b when it comes to low level Android stuff, but I have lots of ARM development boards (all running Arch+Debian) .
This is great! Been waiting for this.
The Camera not work because it is a other Hardware as the normal S4 have.
The Kernel in this ROM is from my deodexed I9295 ROM.
But the Samsung Camera App works only with TW framework.... so we search an other solution.
We have a few things for testing... other libs, other Camera Apps.... we will see!
i am willing to donate but how do you load this on the s4a i tried cwm.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
GT-I9295
ro.product.name=jactiveltexx
ro.product.device=jactivelte
AT&T devices are i537 ...
i will added this in the first Post and added a script in V2 how check before installed if it is the right device! I think this is the best solution....
And we can try to port it to the SGH-I537 tooo?

I'm pretty sure that SGH-I537 boot loader is locked so no custom ROMs atm. My 2 cents.

i537 doesn't work
I just installed this on my i9295... the ROM is awesome, it's fast and smooth... but WiFi doesn't work (it doesn't allow me to turn it on). I'm having the same problem with NadMaj's ROM, any ideas what might be causing it ?
One User of my deodexed stock ROM reports the same issue with wlan .. at the moment i think it is a general problem of I9295 :silly: ... but i dont have this issue....
I m sure you have make a full wipe before or after flashing the ROM?
I did a user data wipe + wipe dalvik cache + wipe cache in CWM before flashing. I also tried flashing a UK ROM, booting, then wiping then installing your ROM. As I said, NadMaj's ROM is doing the same thing on my phone. The wifi works fine in the UK ROM (I found on SAMMobile).
Can you please test this ROM too?

I was working with desalesouche on CM11.0 and we had the same error. We had to change set_metadata to set_perm in the updater-script. Will try to do that now.

EDIT: I've read around and it seems that set_metadata error is caused by the recovery. We need a new recovery: Clock Work Mod version 6.0.4.3

Yup I just remembered that. All devices with 4.4 KitKat ROMs need latest CWM recovery. I first read this on the nexus 4 forum lol. But how did @SpaceKiller install it properly?
Maybe TWRP 2.5?

First of all, copy All the three Flashable Zips into root of SDcard
Now reboot into recovery, and take a Nandroid Backup
After backup completes, wipe data/cache
Now, install the zip from sdcard and choose LeWaOS-6.0-20141209-Q700i-tested.zip
Wait till it finish, and have a clean boot of your device.
Then, after setting up enter recovery again and flash the other two zips.
Wipe Dalvik Cache & Reboot Your Device.

Yeah! As I mentioned, stock Lewa stuff aren't remove because its dependent on person what they like or not. So, if you find any chinese app annoying you can simply uninstall from device or delete from system/app
