Hey guys, I am thinking about buying a Galaxy S 4 on Verizon and using it on t-mobile. What I was wondering is, will the phone have bad battery life? Will it be constantly searching for Verizon signal while I have a Tmobile SIM inserted? Also is the Verizon version any worse than say the Tmobile one? I will be getting a good deal on the Verizon one which is why I am asking.

Hello! I recently bought a Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition. I'm coming from an HTC One. On the One, I had pretty good LTE reception, but I put my sim card into the gs4 and I have not seen it get more than one bar. Every now and then, it goes to 4-5 bars with an H instead of lte.
I spoke with an ATT rep and he said he doesn't see any possibility other than the GS4 is not as good as the One with picking up LTE. That sounds kind of strange to me. Is that really a likely scenario?
Also, I'm not rooted. Just a plain ole GS4 GPE.
Thank!
Hey All. I currently have a Galaxy Nexus with a ATT Straight Talk SIM. I am buying a T-Moble Galaxy S4 today for $320. I want to use it as my main phone, but I know I will have to unlock it and cut the SIM card. After I unlock it will I be able to get 4G speeds? Or will the band difference screw me? What if I was to get the new LTE straight Talk SIM Card?
Hey guys, I'm considering switching over to TMO. My wife has a SGS4 w/ att. I've seen the unlock method but what I haven't found is a clear answer to this:
Will this phone perform at LTE speeds on TMO's network? Is it 100% radio compatible?
I will tweak the hell out of my phone, but my wife doesn't want me to touch hers (I wonder why lol)
I just switched over from att to tmo with my att unlocked s4....lte is great....everything eccept the hotspot option works.

I was an idiot and got the AT&T version of the Note 4, since I'm on AT&T.
So, I was looking to get the T-Mobile version of the Note 4 now since it can be rooted.
My question is, will the signal or internet speeds be affected at all since I will be using a T-Mobile model on AT&T.
My main concern is 4G LTE being the exact same on both models if I stick with AT&T.
Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
I'm in pittsburgh pa using a tmobile note 4 on att and the lte is great. No problems other than I have a defective note 4 that has major lag issue's.
Does anyone else have experience with T-Mobile Note 4 on AT&T?
Hi folks,
we have had T-Mobile for awhile and while they are doing a lot of neat things with their un-carrier events/plans, at the end of the day we just dont't have good cell reception here were we live. We thought about moving two of us both with Galaxy S5 over to Cricket. We used to have AT&T before we moved to T-Mobile so have an idea of the coverage...
Will our T-Mobile phones work ok with Cricket?
