Since most people are now interested in Custom roms, do you still want vol.3 of the Note 3 Launcher?

hi guys,
my samsung galaxy s2 has been giving me a lot of problems lately (signal issues and cracked screen). I couldn't afford the latest handset, so after reading up lots of reviews about google nexus 4, I bought it from ebay.
The phone is most definitely fast (Android 4.3), but many odd features to give you easy access are missing...I assume this is because it's a stock rom?
I want the theme/menus of the phone to look similar a samsung galaxy s2/s3/s4. Is there a way of doing this without flashing a totally new rom to it?
Thank you for your help
To get a full samsung experience such as in setting/laucher/etc to work you need to have samsung framework..which is a lot of work. You can try and search around the forum but I don't think anyone here bought the phone for samsung experience. The best you can do is apply touchwiz theme but that requires you to flash custom roms. For tw launcher you can try this here. Just search around and you'll definitely find something you can use.
Thank you for your quick reply arffrhn.
I don't want to flash a custom rom...at least not for a while. I think I might have described it wrong mate as I don't want touchwiz.
Let me start again....The samsung s2 that I have is running on a custom rom called neatrom....Have you heard of it? I really like it's style as it's very simple and looks cool with colours and dialpad.
But instead of putting on a custom rom, Is there a theme that I can use so that I can change the dialpad style/colour and menu looks etc?
You can try xposed framework and try out some themes. That's the best way to customize your phone without flashing any roms imo.
Try Paranoid Android or carbon custom rom; it comes with lots of tweaks and custom features.

Try a custom ROM and take your conclusions.
I've had a galaxy s2 and my Nexus 4 is better in so many ways
Just wondering is there any fully stock/vanilla roms for the note 3?
I've seen people on this forum in the past on custom ROM threads saying they hate Samsung and devs wont supply vanilla roms, I don't understand why? is it because of the bootloader or something?
I would love to use my Note 3 on a purely stock rom, something like the google play edition S4.
Any help greatly apprectiated, thanks

Bizzare isn't it?? espcially on XDA I would have expected more Note 3 users and devs to want a fully stock experience, given the hardcore specs on the phone im sure with a particular kernel the stock/vanilla experience would give some great battery life too.
I use NOVA with Xposed for a tweaked custom feel, but its on top of touchwiz. I'd like the google play edition feel.

Thanks, yeah I've used it before but effectively its the same as running a launcher on top of touchwiz (also kitkat launcher has far less feautures compared to Nova)
C'mon devs surely someone would love a stock android experience on a beast like the Note 3?!
I'm kinda over touch wiz and looking into rooting lately and its capabilities. Had the question, could I flash the htc Sense Rom onto my note 3 n900A. I've checked around the forums and saw there wasn't a solution, Just thought that I would bring it back up and see if there are any developers working on the aforementioned project.
Wrong forum. This is the forum for the international Note 3. Your looking for the ATT Note 3 Forums. And no, no one has ported a Sense rom over to any Note 3 device yet.
like the title say's will we be able to get most of the features and the new touchwiz UI on our note 3?
since hsbadr with Jasmine ROM has been able to port a FULL S5 UI rom then i would estimate that within weeks we will have a majority if not all the N4 features that are software only

sweet thank you. the new note 4 ui is looking very nice cant wait to see it on our phones
I've seen a couple of ROMs like these for the Snapdragon powered Note 3 with a lot of S6 apps ported to their ROM. Is any such ROM in development for our Exynos Powered Note 3? For now I'm running Stock Lollipop with some S6 apps like Music, Smart Manager, TW Launcher etc, but It'd be great to have a completely new ROM built with S6 features and such. The phone app looks a lot better and resembles Vanilla android. If anyone is willing to try, I'll help you with the testing part.
Thank you
We got so less developers for note 3 n900 :/
We can't get s6 roms so much early maybe we have to wait for another 5-6 months

So true. but would we ever see a S6 ROM port soon? Even though we have a few devs, they've done some great work like giving us CM12 and such. Hopefully we'll see this too
Need it man....
