Have you looked through the CM settings? You might want to also try spare parts, available in the market if you don't already have it. It gives you the option to turn off haptic feedback, altough you'll also loose haptic feedback in other function as well. Just a thought.
I was wondering the same thing. Its starting to get annoying.
Hello you all
i got my trophy today and i was wondering if there is any option to disable the vibration for the "physicale" keys.. or i better say.. for the 3 touch keys (back, home, search) if its possible to disable it please tell me how, thats the only ugly thing if noticed ^^
thanks for help!
I haven't heard of a way to disable the vibrations yet, but there might be a tweak sooner or later. You can turn off vibrations completely if you want though.
I don't know. I know you can disable the search button from doing anything, but the button still causes the motor inside to activate.
Actually I've just stumbled upon a solution. It looks like it works, but I haven't tried it.
Disable haptic feedback
When I am on a call and I need to key in something using the dial-pad, when I press a number my screen instantly turns off and back on again. Is anyone else having this issue. Could this be related to some feature that I can disable?
EDIT: I think its the Smart Stay feature, however I am still curious if this happens to anyone else.
Hasn't happend to me..

I concur, I am having this same issue!
It happens on every ROM I have tried.
[[edit]] not my phone--- it turns off then without some fenagling , it won't turn on. Making it impossible to use dialpad while inbound with a phone call. It seems that nobody else has really called for this issue in android 4.3
but not seeing it anywhere else. :\
Hi all,
My power button is more or less broken and I am having a hard time, turning on the screen. Turning off is not a problem because I use a screen off and lock application. But turning on is a nightmare for me.
Can anyone suggest any alternative for me to solve the problem?
Maybe remapping my volume rockers to turn on the display?
I'm on stock android, 4.3 (I can root it if needed) but I would prefer to stick to Stock ROM rather than a custom rom (which offers volume rocker wake). I would really really appreciate your help. Thanks guys in advance.
Sorry I'm in a hurry here but there's a mod/app called TouchControl that might help you. If I remember well it allows you to turn the screen back on with gestures when it's off.
Later I can help to find it around if you or someone didn't until there. Sorry.

Thanks for the reply. I tried that app before and it occasionally hanged my screen. I prefer to use my volume rockers or maybe something else. Anyway, your help is appreciated.

Try WidgetLocker from the play store. I believe it has that option. You don't need root too.
I could have sworn I was getting haptic feedback on the touch keys when I first had this phone. Now I don't. Anyone know where the setting is for this?
Searching settings didn't help. I guess I can learn to live without the feature, but I liked it on my S6.
Edit: Found it. It's in the sound settings, and it was on but not vibrating. Toggling it back and forth fixed it, but I'm concerned that this is the second setting that has turned itself off without my permission (AOD did this, too).
