LG L5 E612, Custom ROM not İnstalling

Hi, I have LG E612, Unlocked, have root, have stock jb 4.1.2, and have CWM. But go back cwm, wipe everything, install cm10 and install aborted. why? I need your help guys.

Does it says why? What error or something?
Did you delete the line where it checks is an e610 (in the flashable zip)
try downloading cm10 again

[Q] can't flash CM10 in CWM Recovery (Status 7)

I tried to go back from CM10.1 to CM7.2. I used Aroma Wiper to format to EXT3. Then I flashed CM7.2 and according to Recovery everything was okay. On boot attempt the phone keept stucking on the red Motorola logo. I couldn't access CWM anymore and had to flash JORDN_U3_97.21.51 via RSD Lite. I rooted the phone and installed 2ndInit.
I tried installing several CM7 mods. But they all keept stucking on Motorola logo. I decided to stay with CM10 then. When trying to flash CM10 I received following message (please see attachment)
symlink:some symlinks failed
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-10.1-20130709-NIGHTLY-mb520.zip
(status7)
Installation aborted.
What can I do to flash CM again. Thanks for any suggestions.

If your phone is MB525/526, then why are you trying a MB520 ROM?

You are right. I downloaded the wrong file. I downloaded cm-10.1-20130709-NIGHTLY_v2-mb526 but I get the same error message (I made another screenshot).

Try starting again from SBF, root, 2ndinit. Then try installing.
If it still doesn't work, download an old CM10 build (maybe November/December builds), flash it, then flash dual recovery v3 (in the development section) and then try flashing the latest build.

[Q] Can't install OmniRom on I9300

Hi!
I can't install the nightly-version of omnirom for I9300.
I tried several times with different versions of the nightly. I start at stock 4.3 with root and PhilzTouch CWM.
Every time i get "set_metadate_recursive: some changes failed" E: Error in /data/media/omni-4.4-20131128-i9300-nightly.zip (status 7) installation aborted
after that i flashed stock EMG4 with odin and PhilzTouch 5.18.5 but also the same as before
please help!

You need a recent (SELinux-aware) recovery
TWRP should be properly updated

[Q] yeah, my phone wont work

Hey there,
After messing about with my LG Optimus L5 E610 I've encountered a problem. I can't boot into CM, and if i reboot my device it directs me into CWM, if I try to flash CM it gives me error 7. i did some changing thingy to "remove error 7" but now it just aborts the installation. I am not sure what to do.

I think you must try to flash it with KDZ then reinstall CM

[Q] Stuck in Bootload with any ROM

Hi there,
I installed CM a while ago via App + Wininstaller. Yesterday I wanted to install PAC ROM instead to my N4 but I got stuck in bootloop. So I tried many different ROMS - AOKP, CM and even Stock-ROM (4.4.4) but everytime I got stuck in a bootloop.
So far I managed to recover it with the toolkit and I got Stock-ROM again. After that I followed Step-by-Step rooting-Guide, installed CWM/TWRD (I tried both) and again: Bootloops... I checked the MD5s and everything was okay. Once after Toolkit Recovery I got various errors in TWRD when trying to install via ZIP (tried SD-Card and sideload) like "unable to open zip" or "can't write to /tmp/"...
Well I realy like to try PAC ROM instead of CM but at this point the only possibility for a custom rom is CM via the installer-combo (apk/windows).
Any suggestens?
