Err... doesn't Ubuntu come with an Archive Manager (File Roller)? I'm sure it handles .tar too. But it kinda contradicts with your question in OP, which Windows or Android app does that... For Windows, 7zip does that, and there are some archiving utility up on Play Store that does the same for Android.
Use winrar 5.xxx

you can rename in some launchers, like Go Ex, or, you can edit the .apk and compile again using apktools...

Decompile the apk. The app name is in AndroidManifest.xml . Edit it and recompile the app.

You can use Apk manager or Apk Multi-tool.
Btw, my hard disk's space is only 108 gb.. I have to delete old movies before i download new ones. Same thing is with the games. Only 9 gb of my hard disk is free.

Hello, as some of you may know I currently use a computer on which I dont have admin rights, so to flash a factory image, I wanted to use 7-zip portable edition, but it is a .exe file so I cant install it on my phone. What do I have to do?
And when I use this to extract factory images, I just have to place the neccesary files on my computer and flash them in fastboot?

Use ZArchiver, it extracts most files.

On my computer or phone? I am actually thinking why I cant just use winzip or something, because it extracts the files as well right? As long as you get the necessary images out of it you're good to go, not?

This one?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.zdevs.zarchiver
So then I can extract factory images on my phone, transfer the images I need to my pc and I can fastboot flash a new android version?

Just a shot in the dark but did u use 7zip or winrar to extract the file? Try that if you haven't ...and remember the image goes in the ap slot I'd you are using the new Odin
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
You probably need to unzip the file on your computer since odin only reads tar files.
You are better off positing in beans thread which I assume you were looking at to get the zip files. The mods won't like people to create threads in the dev section.
