As you may know, the notification for the calendar event is too short. I can only change the notification sound, but all of them are too short, so it can not be noticeable.
Is there any way to change the notification sound for the calendar event, as for the alarm sound?
No one faced with this problem?
have you tried "business calendar"? the app has many settings in applying custom alarms

I love my S calendar but I hate the pop up snooze/dismiss notification...I don't want to disable notifications from my calendars completely...Is there any way to just disable this snooze or dismiss notification? thanks.

Isn't there any option in the app?
I have flashed the L720VPUGOD2 official ROM and have been using it for a couple days. It has worked great so far, except I have no just noticed that I am getting zero calendar notifications. Is S Planner causing this, because I tried freezing it and still nothing. What should I do to find the source of the notificaton stops and fix it? Thanks.
Go to settings/my device/sounds and notifications/application notification and find the calendar you are using and turn notifications on

I did indeed do that to both Google Calendar and S Planner. Still no notifications.
Hey guys,
Using Google messenger as default messages app. Have notification set to vibrate with reminders every 5 mins. Every time I get a new message, however, it notifies me (as it should) but then I get the reminder tone almost immediately after (2-3 secs).
Has anyone else experienced this? Possible solves?

Does anyone know how to stop the Weather Alerts from popping up on the G6? I can't figure out how to stop them. We've been getting storms for the past 3 days and they keep popping up on my phone and it's pretty annoying.
unless an app does not have settings to disable pop ups lg made it default for the g6.

Are you using default text messaging app? If so it's in the settings for the text messing.
Text app>Settings>more>emergency alerts

Thanks! Would have never guessed to go in there.
Since abt 5-6 years I have been using Business Calendar 2 app for setting up reminders for events & tasks.
But in Mi A1 the notification tone does not sound up. Phone vibrates & the reminder pops up if the relevant setting in BC2 is enabled. This issue is existing since the day i bought it.
I tried several other apps like DigiCal, Calengoo, aCalendar.... But still no notification sound.
Notification tone works perfectly in Gmail, WhatsApp, Sms..
What could be the solution ?? Is this happening with others too ??
Mods pls delete this thread. Notification was blocked in app settings. Issue is now resolved.
