Hi guys. I was on X-Note 7 and decided to try Crash rom. After install I was stuck on the bootloop with phone getting really hot. Took the battery out, reinstalled - same thing. So I thought Crash Rom is not for me then -> tried to reinstall X-Note -> same issue Boot loop and starts getting hot. Installed most recent CWM recovery via odin, reinstalled X-Note - same problem, boot loop with boot animation being really choppy and starts heating up at back.
Any ideas where it went wrong or how to fix it? Thanks

So I was running CWM (Philz) I believe, and I had been running into issues while on rooted 4.2.2 D800 stock ROM. There were force closes and random reboots, etc. I've only installed xposed mods. I've also used android tuner to adjust some of the build.prop and kernel presets.
However, after my phone got stuck in what I thought was a boot loop, I finally got it up and running. What happened next was odd. I tried booting into recovery -> the "LG" splash screen showed up and it went into another infinite boot loop.
I'm assuming I somehow corrupted or lost my recovery. Any advice on what to do? I don't know if I should follow the original instructions for flashing a recovery here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2633150.
Edit: Jesus christ my phone infuriates and confuses the hell out of me. After attempting to enter the recovery again, I am now stuck in a permanent boot loop. The last time I fixed it was by turning my phone off....and then *WAITING*.
What? That doesn't make sense you say? Of course it doesn't. But that's still what worked. I waited 12 hours, and then tried turning it on again. When I did, oh look, the AT&T screen!
CONFUSING. help please...
Double edit (Hard Mode): Going into download mode when I'm in this constant bootloop = nothing happens. That little icon that says "Download Mode" with the 5 blue circles just stays there, and my laptop ends up not recognizing anything. This happened the last time too, and all I was able to see on my laptop was "QHSUSB_BULK". I thought this meant that I would have to do a complete wiping process through Linux (found on another thread somewhere), but apparently waiting 12 hours also fixed the problem.
Hey so i have some nasty boot loop that i cant get out of it. using OptimusG3 and Doris 8.7 , in trying to get more SOT from battery iv installed BetterBatteryStats latest version 2.0.0.0B2 , click install as system app and got success msg then rebooted - and now stuck at weird boot loop, the system is booting to the desktop and i can interact for 2 seconds then self reboot straight to boot animation and it just keep going like this..
p.s - b4 iv even installed BBS , for the last day the screen went off by itself randomly in both the rom and recovery so i had feeling its the kernel so iv switched to cloudy 1.5 and it fixed the screen off
b.t.w - i have access to twrp and the g2 is recognized on pc so adb is working also
please advice what next
anyone?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Note 4 (910F) with a little error, that I thought I could solve.
After flashing stock firmware with Samsung Kies (+Original FWwith Odin) the phone starts booting normaly. After a few seconds and hearing/seeing the samsung logo, it starts installing that 27 default apps..
During the installation it suddenly freezes, vibrates twice and then it restarts... Now it is stucked in a loop.
So, I installed TWRP, wiped everything and I installed a CFW. Now it starts booting but during the Samsung Logo it freezes, vibrates twice and reboots. Now it is stucked in a loop.
Now I have no clue what to do. Can you guys help me out?
P.S.: It could be possible that I solve this problem if I restore a TWRP-Backup from an other Note 4? Can someone upload this files?
Thank you!

Probably faultly hardware
How can I found out what is exactly wrong?
Maybe getting a log file of the booting procedure?
Could anyone upload a TWRP Backup of a running system?
I flashed the ROM Ressurection Remix onto my phone to get a newer Android version since the model is quite old. Everything worked perfectly for over two years. Then while browsing, my phone crashed and got into a bootloop and restarts after showing the Samsung Logo. After manually removing the battery and putting it back repeatedly it boots up somehow. I couldn't reproduce what was happening back then.
After that it crashes in irregular intervals for no apparent reason and every time I could get it to boot properly by turning off and on for a long period of time.
Now I got the same problem and I wanted to get rid of the bootloop, so I decided to flash it with a new version of Ressurection Remix. I updated TWRP via Odin and had much trouble to get into recovery mode since my phone was crashing at the Samsung logo. As I got into recovery I made a factory reset and flashed the new rom. But as soon as my phone started to reboot after the flashing, it crashes again and the loop starts once again. Again, I searched for another Rom and used LineageOS but the problem persists.
Now I'm out of options, I can't even get into recovery mode by now.
Could anybody help me out?

Hey. I have same problem. I can just boot the Phone with bootloader. Anyone have an idea about this?
My Galaxy S4 VE (GT-I9515) crashed. (the screen went black) It was not rooted and ran the latest Andoid 5.0.1 ROM.
When I turned it on, it went into a bootloop, randomly crashed during booting, or turned on normally. I removed sd and sim card and tried a different battery. Furthermore I tried to boot into recovery mode and wiped the system data and the cache. It did not help.
Sometimes it was not possible to get into recovery mode because the phone's screen went black and it rebooted.
Then I tried flashing multiple stock ROM files using Odin, but it did not solve the problem.
After that i tried rooting the device and installed a custom recovery (TWRP), but i still got random crashes during booting and sometimes it got stuck showing the samsung boot animation. The only things that work reliably are the Download Mode and the charging animation.
Now, what can I do to fix my phone?
I read a bit about flashing a .pit file but I don't think that will help?
Is this a hardware or a software issue?
How can I find out, what caused the problem?
