Back in the days of gingerbread if a word were.misspelled there would be a line under the word. If tech jargon I could ignore it but the feature often caught embarrassing errors. Using auto correct isn't practical for me due to the frequency jargon is "corrected" to the wrong word. Is that feature just irretrievably gone now?

First I thought I was crazy when I couldn't type some of the oddball names I was searching for in play store, as soon as I hit space the word would be replaced with something else totally unrelated. Then I thought how come I'm the only one to have this issue? Anyhow, finally found fix:
controls/language&input/samsung keyboard/settings/auto replacement I switched to off.
I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but it was driving me bonkers, maybe it will work for you?
I knew about that. my issue is if I spell a word incorrectly on older phones in gingerbread or ice cream sandwich a red line was drawn under the mistake. Often, as you described, the word underlined actually was correct but sometimes it was a spelling error. It helped me proof read an email or forum post before sending. Now with auto correct turned off there is no warning if I spell a word wrong.

Has anyone thought to download the drawing program from motolabs and check to see how well the X10s screen performs? They did a test on the Nexus, Droid, iPhone and others and it was published a few weeks ago. If those that have the phone could try this, I would be interested to see the results.
have you got a link or do you know what it is called on the market? just checked for digitizer and motolabs but couldnt find anything..

I don't think there is an app, they just used whatever note taking app was available for each OS as far as I understand it.

Thats the link to the test page. The drawing apps used are listed and SimplyDraw was used for the Nexus and iPhone. I would try that app and see what kind of results you get.

the screen seems to perform better when the lines went diagonally down from the right, than diagonally down from the left. also, the far left and right hand sides of the screen don't seem to pick up any input for the last few mms - the left side being the worst.
if anyone else cares to try and see if they get better results, please post it, as it would be nice to see this verified on another x10.

I found a bug in the (honeysmartdroid rom) and since I can't post it in the development thread (because of less than 10 posts) I'm posting it here hoping someone can help me.
The problem is this, when I want to use my banks app I have to fill in my card number by spinning wheels, but the window is to small in the rom so can't enter the last number.

This also occurs with the date of birth, there also the last number is missing (you only see 199 and 198 etc.) but there I can spin it and guess wich 199 year i'm at.
So my question is:
Does someone know an easy way to fix this?
and if this isn't in the right place how do I get it there?
First of all, if you posted anywhere else but here or even better, Q&A, the thread would be closed.
As for your problem, to me it looks like a resize problem. Best thing you can do is message memnoc, attach those images and wait.
And yes, there is an easy fix for that. Flash another ROM.
EDIT: And frankly it isn't that hard to guess which year it is. If the last one 198 and the one above is 199, it's only reasonable to conclude that its 1989 and 1990. So from there I think it should be more then easy.
thanks, I wil send a message to memnoc. And like I said the problem was with entering bij bank card number (ends with 3 numbers and I can only enter 2), not with the year. That was just extra as an example.
So I rooted my Note 4(N910P) yesterday. I then flashed CWM. I get on my ROM to test root, then reboot into CWM to test and make sure it works fine. I go to click on the navigation buttons at the bottom and they do not respond. I figured "whatever, must be a bug or something" and I reboot back into the ROM. I go to use my phone and the touch is 'off'. If you look at the screenshot below, the touch test one, I marked white Xs where my finger is actually at on the screen. Look at the number for the dark grey one, it is over 1440. It seems that after rooting, my device now thinks I have a 1480x2560 screen(touch wise). I'm at a loss as to why. My S Pen works fine, though.
What I have done to try and fix this-
Tried a custom kernel as someone mention an issue with a kernel/driver that a custom kernel may fix.
Tried to go back to 'vanilla' aside from the tick on knox, of course.
Custom ROM at one point, even.
Tried removing and pulling the battery and MicroSD card.

Okay so im still sort of new to this whole forum and so far I've talked to some great people who have helped me understand how to root, and theme haha thanks.
But this is a serious matter. My mother has Verizon wireless their tech support can't figure out whats going on with her phone and shes getting death threats and lawsuits.
She has switched out her phone 2 times, changed her number twice and it still sends out messages of spam, like to random numbers, Pretty much she's spoof'd. I have looked at her phone and I've yet to see any strange apps, I've ran scans, she doesn't even have an SD card anymore. While she was transitioning to a new phone tho, they gave her a loaner phone, before she got out of the store she had 13 new messages sent out to random people.
I'm stumped, Verizon is stumped my moms freaking out etc.
I have also updated her phone to 5.0 here are the screen shots and the actual model of the device.

funny thing also my dad is on the account as well, But he has no problem do you think maybe its something to do with the account?
Any sort of anti virus thats really good, shes done resets and new flashes etc.
