So ive noticed that the at&t version of the lg g2 offers an additional third microphone next to the camera unlike verizon ,tmobile and international versions.
So my question is ,is this microphone offering the noise cancellation ,is it for audio zoom and generally what is the purpose of it?

That mic is for NSA. So they can listen to your conversations
Suppose to reduce background noise during a call...aka noise cancelling.
Sent from my G2

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I am wondering how I can use the microphone for 2 things. 1. Just to record outside noise and 2. To record phone calls. Thanks in advance.

There is a built in sound recorder - long press on voice dialling key.
Recording calls is already the subject of a lengthy thread on this currently only a few posts down from this one!! But as it's you see here:

That's alright, but before going you must be punished for your own good you understand, and certainly not for my enjoyment

I had this problem like forever. I gave the service center too. They just install the official rom and send it back. So I was desperate about that and then Iread something about that solution. And it worked! I use something like duck tape to cover the second microphone. (It was in the front of phone. Just near the camera.)
I must say again, This solution solve my sound quality problem. (The husky sound is about my side voice / my voice )
There is some pics.

That second microphone isn't intended for noise reduction on Gingerbread?

Maybe. But this one isn't correctly worked. Its remove your voice too. Maybe they fix with 2.3 release, but i don't really believe they care at all.
Another solution;
Completely disassemble the phone.
Remove primary microphone grille (felt).
In Turkish;
Telefonu tamamen söküyoruz.
USB girişinin ordaki mikrofonun üstünde kalın bir keçe var. Sese engel oluyor. Onu kazımak gerekiyor.
Hi guys
I have a problem, is it possible to make the vibration stronger when I receive call/text. I looked around and google it and it seems that a lot android users had the same problem. Most of the apps is crap (how to shake your phone to vibrate)
So does any of you know the solution, please? ?
Solution? It is a characteristic, not a problem. It isn't really an Android "issue" either. It is more hardware related. The vibration motor in most SE phones is quite small, the one in most HTCs is larger, for instance. You CAN change the duration and pulse pattern of the vibration effect, but it doesn't really do much. Apart from drain the battery more in the case of duration extension...
Not really sure why you need a pneumatic drill in your pocket though...
For the love of Hugh Jackman,

First i would like to say that this in not my app and i have no responsibility if your phone or ears are in any way damaged after installing this app. Use it with your own risk.
Every time i flashed new roms to my device i had problems with sound. All roms including zui official have low call volume or i am a bit DEF :laugh:. In any case after i installed this app that is free thanks dev everything is better.
This app will increase volume in speakers, earpiece(call volume) and headphones.

Can't find Sound Control as per your screenshot. Is it because I'm on stock?
Please advise.
Thanks.

I think that it's is because the stock kernel 3.18.xx doesn't support sound control.
First a week ago i picked up my s7 edge g935f on 8.0 im in the u.k and the return and recents buttons wouldn't work i tried all kinds im having to use the virtual keys, now i have ringtone, alarms, notification sound but no sound on calls unless i put it on speaker and its still bad, no music will play or sound on videos, now i just used a hidden code to go see info on touch keys and its not even there, ive put two screenshots of how it should look with keys button in middle and mine with it missing, any help would be amazing, thenk you in advance.

Nobody ?
Nobody know how i can fix this ? If nobody in here knows i've got no chance i've had galaxys since the s3 but i've had enough now, i'm so sick of ota updates supposedly to better your phone putting more problems instead, i've had enough, i had no problems with s3, s4,s5, but the more the phone is meant to improve and the more you pay for it the worse they get, NEVER getting another galaxy.
