How to change the navbar height in CM11? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What's the best way to reduce the navbar height on CM11 for the G2?
I searched and found references to Xposed + Gravity Box / Xblast, but at the same time I read that they don't recommend using them with non-stock or non-AOSP ROMs such as CM.
I also found an app named "Ultimate Dynamic Navbar" which looks like it might work, but not many people have mentioned it for some reason.

[Q] How to change the toggle colors or hide them?

Aside from using Exposed framework, I'm stock rooted but I don't want to swap roms honestly, So what's the best way to change toggle color or just hide it the toggles and actually leave all the toggles in the toggle pane....
You can't without editing the files and touch would need a deodexed roms for that

[Q] Quick Settings

Any chance that there might be some form of rom or Xposed module that turns the Touchwiz QS toggles into AOSP-looking toggles? I've been googling around for hours without any luck.
Also, is there a way to boost the brightness of the flashlight?

1-Wanam Xposed
2- This
Wanam doesn't quite turn it into AOSP-looking toggles, close though, but no cigar.
Thanks for the link to the adjustable brightness apk. I'm used to just setting it directly in Torch, but considering Torch won't work on a non-AOSP rom, well... ^^''

[MOD TUTORIAL] Custom Navigation ring targets on sense 5.5 KK 4.4.2

Hey guys, did anyone notice that 4.4.2 update brings navigation ring for Gnow, when home is swiped up (if swipe up home to gnow is activated, display settings>home button)
I did!! and was searching for a mod that allows me to edit the ring shortcuts...no luck! so...I tried a "workaround"
playing with xposed modules I found gravity box, a well known vanilla aosp rom customizer...lots of stuff!...let's try it...
on the menu there are lots of sections....look for the navigation bar one...
enable navbar optimisations
enable navbar
scroll down to navigation ring
enable navigation ring shortcuts
edit as you wish
disable navigation bar (or keep it enabled if you want, it feels pretty strange on sense)
reboot!!!
et voilĂ , you have custom targets!
sorry, I have a question...can that behavior be ported to gpe roms? I really like that nav ring but it's only on 4.4.2 roms sense

Use the xposed module on a GPE ROM and it should work as the module was written for vanilla AOSP

[Q] Xposed module not changing colors?

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S4 running Sammy Deluxe S5 ROM. However I love the look of material design in android L but will loose S4 features including the camera app, if I were to install an stock google rom and theme it, I had pacman ROM for start and being new to custom roms I didn't realize that i'll get rid of all S4 features so installed teh Sammy Deluxe S5 ROM as it's based on touchwiz.
I instead have started changing the theme by installing go launcher and using a android L icon pack (android L launchers aren't as feature rich as go launcher). I've also used wanam xposed to change the color of the notification draw however there are some issues.
Everything looks fine except the draw handle (blue bar at the bottom of drawer) is still the same S5 colors and with brightness slider enabled there is a white line above the notification bar but that goes away if I disable the brightness control but I've installed Icontrol centre to get around that issue until I can find a way to fix it properly.
Is there anyway I can manually theme the phone, I've started looking at APK modding and have looked through the ROM files but can't seem to find anything to change the colors of the notification drawer. Even better would be if there is any other xposed module that can theme more expects of the galaxy S5 also would be nice to theme the settings too.

there are many modules available for themeing in closed installer
you can try gravity box its superb
Use Gravity Box or Wanam Xposed for theming.
Not all modules are compatible with android 4.3 or 4.4

Is there an app to change status bar icons?

As the title states, I've installed Screwd and I'm going for a red theme.. I've changed the clock and nav bar buttons via the ROM options, but there doesn't seem to be anything for the battery, WiFi signal, mobile signal and other potential icons which pop up.
Quite simply I'd like to edit them, an app would be preferable, I'm aware that I can edit some files to get the desired colours although I'd like to avoid that as its a bit of a ballache if you don't do that a lot..
Any ideas?
Thanks.
PS: I won't use xposed so that option is out.
Edit: just realised I hadn't put "Colours" I don't want to edit the image of the icons, just the colour.
Thanks again.
I'd check out layers.
However I use xposed for all theming needs. I would reconsider using it

Would layers be functional with a CM based ROM ? AFAIK screwd is CM based so not sure if this would work..will look into it cheers.
Edit: OK so as far as i can see, it is compatible but it doesn't alter the status bar icons..at least not on their own. Unless I'm not seeing something.
And no I wouldn't use xposed it murders battery life.
This is as far as I've got with it. ROM toolbox doesn't even have icons for cm13. So annoying.
Any other ideas
Anyone???
