On my note 2, I could switch from pencil to eraser with the click of the button on the SPen. Now I have to manually select the eraser from the menu. Is there a way to program the button to toggle between pencil and eraser mode.

Are you not wanting to use the the app all together?
The tab is not so much for 'quick start app' as it is for 'multi-window' use. Long pressing the back key will remove it, and long pressing back again will show it again.
If you won't be using multi-window (two apps on screen at the same time) then just disable multi-window from the toggles and the tab will no longer show, and long pressing back will do nothing.

i used to capture screen shots in note 2 and note 3 using the s-pen button then touching the screen
But in note 4 i must click it to open air view then choose screen writing
So is there any way to add this option again without air view ?

When I pull out S pen screen write is an option or you can swipe your hand across the screen or press the button to Smart select
I mean to hold the pen button and touch the screen just like note 3

I'd like to know the answer as well. Don't like having to choose from screen write or palm swipe.
When i put my note 4 on the OEM Samsung docking, the home button stop working for single press. It only work for double press to open svice. So there is no way to go back to home screen by pressing home button.
Anyone know the work around?

Try the side key panel in settings>one handed operation>side key panel

Home key setting is not in one hand operation.
Im using samsung smart dock from Note2 and there is no problem using home button.

On the Note 2, holding the S Pen button (in the SNote app) would function as an eraser (which was very helpful, especially when in full screen mode). For the Note 3, this has change to the select tool. Does anyone know how to change this back?

Is there a program for this tried s pen buddy and s pen tool none of the actions give me the option to configure the click to just tap.
