softbricked my LG G2

I need some help guys. I am stuck in TWRP boot loop and cant get my phone to boot after a failed attempt to flash a rom.
I cant get ADB to work but i can still get into download mode on the phone and twrp.
Its a LG G2 on sprint ls980, I don't care if I have to go back to factory stock firmware I just need my phone working again asap
is there any way to get my flash drive(with a rom on it) to show up in TWRP? I have a usb OTG cable that i have used on this phone when it was working to transfer files about
yea by posting in the Q&A section.
help !!
Hi, sorry for my english , I'm french
I wanted to flash a custom rom on my LG G2 D802 .
I wanted the Paranoid Android (PA +) with 4.3 JellyBean .
So I made the
Backup
Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik Cache
After I
Choose zip ( custom ROM ) from sd card
Then I
Reboot System Now
And turn on my laptop, I get an error message saying
[640 ] started Fastboot Mode
[ 690] udc start ()
I realized I had to flash AOSP kernel before changing to a ROM paranoid . But my kernel is blocked and so I have to go back to the stock ROM
When I did this tutorial using lg tools , flashing stops at 49% with an error message .
I also saw that I could access the recovery mod by following this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2565904(but I saw that I could not otherwise reboot my phone after it was bricking ) and therefore flash my stock Rom which I had made the backup . But I do not know if the ROM has been saved and if it remained in my files after the Wipes.
If it is not there, is that in buying a micro USB ====> HUSB adapter, I could install a stock ROM from a USB key ? Or is there a way I can put files from my computer to my laptop which has no port micro sd?
And is what I could with my kernel "blocked " ?
Thank you very much

[Q] [RECOVERY] TWRP 2.7.0.0 Loop

Hello.
I write to you because I have a big problem with mi LG G2 D802.
Yesterday I tried to install a CRM apk to use in a signature of the University. I was using CM11, but the apk had failed. So, I restored my ROM STOCK backup and when the phone start, a new update was downloaded and installed. Then, the phone only enter in recovery mode. I tried the different wipes, restore again ROM Stock, install again CM11 ROM but the problem was not solved.
I tried to enter in bootleader (pushing vol+ and insert the usb cable), but the phone reboot in recovery.
Now, I don´t know why, the phone is empty. I tried to restore ROM Stock backup from USB OTG but the recovery don´t recognizes the folders.
Please, can anybody help me? I need the pone!
Thanks.
Regards,
Nicolas.
Hmm try to install a clean ROM using adb sideload... If that doesn't work then you might have to use kdz to flash to stock
have you tried this if it doesn't work you will need to go back to stock using kdz/tot method
TWRP 2.7.0.0 Loop
Thanks for your answers. Luckily I solved the problem with .zip archive downloaded on the web.
Now, you can close the thread.

[Q] Soft brick after trying to flash resurrection

I have a G2 from Verizon (VS980).
It was running KitKat 4.4.2 stock rooted.
I run a Nandroid backup using TWRP.
I flashed the Resurrection Remix ROM.
On restart I entered a boot loop.
Turned off, rebooted into TWRP recovery, did a complete swipe (system, cache, dalvik and data).
Tried restoring from Nandroid backup and could not find any backup files (perhaps I don't know where to look but all folders appear empty).
Tried rebooting into download mode and got stuck at installing some drivers (could take 10 minutes) with nothing happening.
Screen says Rooted and I am guessing that could be the issue. I don't know how to proceed.
Can someone help please?
Download another 4.4.2 based ROM. I'm assuming you are attempting to flash a lollipop 5.0.2 ROM. Is that the case?

I ran in to that problem when trying to go from a G3 rom to Lollipop. My solution was this:
1. Boot in to TWRP
2. Plug phone in to computer (pc should recognize it; sometimes it wouldn't and I had to mount then unmount /system partition from TWRP
3. Drag and drop a Kit Kat based rom (and GAAPS if need be) from your computer on to the root of your device
4. Flash from there
Let me know if you have any issues with that. I did manage to lose everything saved on my device which led me to a valuable lesson learned, that being: once you back up the device in TWRP, be sure to transfer that backup to your PC in case you mistakenly wipe the device clean later.

Retobuzzing, thank you for the quick response. Thanks also for your last recommendation, gotta do that too next time.
I have actually found my solution reading in a post that I should try entering download mode by pressing both volume keys together while you connect the micro usb connector. That worked even though the screen gives you no feedback except for the led turning red (kind of scary at first :fingers-crossed.
After doing that I was able to follow the directions in the article titled: "How to unbrick LG G2 with stock firmware" at the Androidcure.com site.
The phone was restored to the original stock conditions and later I was able to update it to software version 26A.

Your assumption is right on the money.:good:
Do you have a suggestion on a better lollipop ROM for the G2?
Any idea on could have caused the boot loop after flashing Resurrection remix?

please helpe i accidentially wipe all os system and data of samsung s3 neo i9300i

my device is samsung s3 neo i9300i.recently i install twrp 2.7.1.0 and accidently delete all partitions and system and data.so now there are no os system.and i cant boot my phone.phone stucks on samsung logo.but i can boot into twrp recovery mod.then i decide to flash stock rom throgh twrp recovery but it fails and also try cm 12.1 official and unofficial it also fails.its showing no md5 file found.patching system image unconditionlly and updating partitions.so what can i do.i dont have pc.so give me solution which can i solve with twrp 2.7.1.0 .and one que. can i install noble rom 2.1 on this mobile in this situation?please help me......
I think you still need to find any PC with samsung drivers installed and Odin. Boot into download mode (vol down + power) and flash service firmware to recover partitions. Maybe exist any other solutions, but this, IMHO, is what you need to do.
After installing cm12.1, doesn't it boot?
Don't worry about the md5 file warning or patching system unconditionally. If you got no errors (other than what i mentioned here), it should boot fine.
in twrp there is an option of terminal command.but i dont know how to use it.when i click to open this terminal conmand then open systems folders and files and bottom line there is a option of select current folder.so how can i use it to flash rom with this.anyone have idea then please help me
I several times wiped everything at once through TWRP, then just restarted into recovery, copied .zip files for the ROM and gapps from a computer and flashed them, so can't really see where is the problem in your case. Doesn't the PC find your phone as a storage drive after wipe and restart?
yesterday i successfully install nobel rom 2.1 in my device.but now problem is i cant boot my phone.its showing samsung logo and then automatically going in download mod.before this installation i several time wipe every partitition and succedsfully install noble rom 2.1 but cant boot my phone.problem always there.please please help me
Maybe the problem is with the ROM and it's incompability with your phone. What if through Odin you flash a stock ROM from a computer in download mode and then try another custom ROM?
But of course first try to enter recovery and directly flash (another) working ROM, because going through stock with Odin takes much more time and nerves. Also, with Odin you have to be extremely careful to use the exact stock ROM for your device, so this is kind of a last-case scenario.
Plz check the rom u r downloaded is not corrupted

If you deleted ALL partitions, you have to flash Stock. If not, then just install something.

Yes of course you can. Flash whichever version you want. Just make sure it is only for your device s3 neo not any other Samsung phone. If you have solved the problem, then reply here and all moderator to close this thread.

Hello
In TWRP try format data, after the format data flash the stock rom from a PC or use the flashable stock rom:
[ROM][Harpia][De-Bloated][De-Odexed][Stock][Multiple Variants]
[ROM][Harpia][De-Bloated][De-Odexed][Stock][Multiple Variants] I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device once you flash this! -De-Bloated -De-Odexed -100% Pure Stock/Untouched Otherwise 1. Copy zip to SD Card 2. Boot...
