I wonder if anyone is witnessing similar behavior in the Terminal:
after any su command, the lines - carriage returns, on text output of any command, even a simple ls, run as a regular user are garbled, producing weird line breaks and text indentation...
This is only solved by exiting the term app and starting again. I'm using the Android Terminal app by Jack Palevich.
Anyone knows what's causing this and how to fix it. The first phone to have this issue is the Note 3 for me, Note II, Note before that no problems with the same app...

In eb13 screen rotation takes forever way to change that?
3g is slower

for screen rotation speed:
turn on usb debugging
open cmd prompt
browse to where you have ADB tools
adb shell
su
cd /system/app/
sensorcalibutil_yamaha
after the text hit enter with phone laying flat
reboot
alternate method use connectbot from market
open app
change SSH to LOCAL
for name put whatever you want
same steps/commands as above
Or try running the calibration program under display settings, but with the phone setting upside down - I tried it to fix a backwards compass issue (east and west were reversed) on DK28, but it eliminated my rotation lag as a side effect. Maybe this release has the same issue?

Are you kidding? The first thing I noticed when I flashed was how fast it was rotating.

Major problem to me is the compass...this thing can't tell where north, east, west, or south is

I was on Google Maps and it told me to "calibrate" (that might not have been the word) the compass by moving the phone in a "figure 8 pattern several times." I'd never seen that message before and thought it was strange, but I did it and it definitely seems to have worked for me.
Kind of off topic but I can't get the ota because of me not having the sprint nascar app. How do I get it back??

Install clockwork and then flash the pre-rooted deodoxed stock rom that is already in the dev section.
Hi.
This is my first post, so, please, tell me if I'm doing something wrong.
I hoped that somebody could assist me with an issue. When an update is happening in the background the app in use will briefly blink, as if it was minimised and restored. It happenswhen the "Internal storage left" message pops up. Though it happens really quickly, some activities become impossible. For example, a YouTube video will restart if an app updates, and if few apps are updating it will just keep restarting the video. A game will blink and pause.
I'm using a stock ROM, even though it's rooted. I can't remember having this issue a month ago, but can't find what could possible cause this. Hope to hear some ideas for solution.
Many thanks in advance.

I recently got a Tmobile Note 3 that I unlocked via unlock code and since first boot, I've noticed few things that I don't understand or seen on any other phone.
1) There are a number of apps that are there that I don't believe come with stock phone and I would like to know if its OK to remove/disable them. Also would like to know what they do?
VoLTE Configuration Menu
SSConfig
[/LIST
2) Secondly, everytime I boot or restart the phone, phone shows all the different commands that it is running. I'm sure there is setting somewhere to disable that but I don't see it in Dev Tools.
Thanks

VoLTE = http://www.radio-electronics.com/in...-long-term-evolution/voice-over-lte-volte.php
SS config I have no clue, assume it's to do with building configs/development etc
The different commands that the phone is running at boot up must be due to the unlock (bootloader?) - a reflash of stock firmware may fix this

It's difficult to take the picture of the commands that are running as they only show up for a brief second or so but I will give it a try later today.
Apart from above mentioned apps, there is another app called "Samsung Keystring". Is it OK to delete/disable these apps?

I think the keystring is for service modes, like connecting to networks etc, can't really see to much about it though. I wouldn't delete it just incase

I just bought my nexus 10 and I'm pretty satisfied with it. My only problem is that the hdmi output doesn't fill the screen. I've found several threads addressing this problem , but the only thing that could be usefull is the paid app 'Screen Settings'. There's a script for 4.3 and my question is, are there any other alternatives?

Hi,
I do it manually in the terminal, always worked for me . You can script it if you want:
Code:
wm size 2560x1440
My TV is 1080p and works fine, you don't need to change density in this resolution . If you want to go to the stock settings do just do the following in terminal:
Code:
wm size reset
Just remember that you need to have superuser access before typing these commands!! To do such just type:
Code:
su
Before issuing the commands I told you .
Hope this helps,
~Lord
