Nexus 4 and MW600 / BT problems - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anybody experienced any kind of disconnections with Bluetooth headsets?
My MW600 headset, which was working perfectly until 4.4 update, keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from my N4 very frequently with no pattern and only during calls - it never disconnects when listening to music.
Any experience / advice?

Hmm have similar problems with 4.4.1 and same BT.
Are you on same version?

Bluetooth connection problem

I just got nexus 4 and it has problem connecting to bluetooth speaker. The first time connecting to the speaker, it's flawless. However, the next time that I connect to the speaker, it would play music for 3-4 seconds before muting. Nothing that I do would fix the problem. I would have to reboot the nexus, then the cycle repeats itself.
I'm using stock nexus, rooted and running Franco kernel r15. I've read around that Android 4.2 has been having problem with bluetooth connectivity (especially in Nexus 7). Is this a known problem for nexus 4? If it is, I hope Google will fix it soon. Does anyone experiencing the same problem?
I have no issues with N7 on bluetooth audio in my truck (a2dp) and N4 with both A2DP and hf simultaneously. But I haven't modded it.

[Q] Bluetooth Call + Wifi On = Distortion ??

Hello guys! Just received my nexus 4 and i've noticed the bluetooth noise issue ...When making a phone call using bluetooth and Wifi is ON the other party can hear me but there's always a frustrating interference in the audio ...for me the audio is just fine ...turning Wifi OFF solves the problem ...I'm on android 4.2.2 using HTC BH M300 bluetooth..I've noticed that if i choose Wifi frequency band 5GHz instead of 2.4 GHz ( same frequency being used by bluetooth if i'm correct ) then the noise is gone but basically that's because wifi isn't connected anymore...
No problem streaming music or audio from videos using bluetooth!
Anyone else experiencing this and is there a way to fix it ?
Thanks
DITTO. That's the problem with Bluetooth. Perhaps Google knows about it and is working on solving it. Not sure. Read somewhere.

Bluetooth connectivity issue

I am using PAC MAN rom and KT kernal..
Bluetooth calls seem to be having an issue..suddenly the audio stops (some times after 5 - 10 mins) but I see the phone n car still connected...anyone has the issue?? This doesn't seem to happen when I connect to the charger..
noticed the similar behavior with music app and bluetooth headset. music stops coming from the headset after 10 mins or so but the bluetooth seems to be connected and the timer on the audio keeps moving...

[Bug] simultaneously connecting to carkit and music dongle via BT

Serious bug.. When I connect the headset function of the Note via BT with my carkit and simultaneously stream music to a HTC Car A100 apt-x BT receiver, the voice on the other end of a call will mute every now and then. I didn't have this problem with my other phones so it must be a Note 3 thing. My firmware version is XXUMBJ2 (radio version is the version that came with this firmware version). Phone model: N9005
Anyone any idea how to fix this? Or are there people running another firmware version that doesn't have this problem?
I am going to be running a similar setup in a few days when my bluetooth music receiver arrives. My car has BT for phone calls built in but not music so I need to connect to both simultaneously.
I will update when I have some news to let you know if I have the same bug. I run MJ6 btu, I have a 2009 Ford focus and the bluetooth music receiver I have ordered is an avantree cara BT v4.0 aptx module... so a little different setup.

Update: I cannot reproduce your bug with the above setup. I have updated to MJ7 since that post as well. Car Bluetooth and music Bluetooth work well together.

[Q] Bluetooth audio fix for kitkat

Hi!!
I recently upgraded to CM11 with my defy and I noticed some audio stutters using Bluetooth audio. It's like random stutters with Bluetooth and it's like losing its connection. I tried other ROms like slimkat and it's still the same. I'm currently using poweramp with DVC disabled also the stock audio player still having this issue. I tried playing with different governors and IO and I still can't get rid of the Bluetooth issue.
Is there any workarounds for the Bluetooth? I'm using a rapoo bt headset and a sony mw600 headset. Both of them have the same issue.
Thanks in advanced,
