Hello Everyone ,
I got a Lenovo Ideapad k1 which previously had CWM 10 ( not sure which specific release ) , it was boot looping so i used khanning88's "K1_Stock_120109" in order to format everything and start over from stock , unfortunately i'm getting error on second partition (see picture in attachment for better explanation) . In terms of drivers , i got an unknown device named "Coprocessor" which doesn't accept any drivers to be installed , dont know if this has to do with our problem here or maybe not. APX driver original link from khanning88 is dead so i could be skeptical whether the files i got from googling arent the right ones. Finally i tried to change usb ports but it never made a difference. Thanks in advance and my apologies for writing too long post  .

I also am facing the same issue now but being optimistic that I can revive my K1. You will see if your device is being recognized by the PC under USB , thats the last part of the device manager just retract that part then if you see "NVIDIA usb something" you have the driver and the device has been recognized by the PC
@Kastella, I already revived my K1 just yesterday. We have the same problem totally the same error result just execpt for SDRAM CHIP, mine got 1 but I read somewhere else that it should be 0, and yours is 0. I also have that STOCK HC.
you're using now and that didn't work for me but instead I got a reimage of STOCK HC and that ROM worked. Let me know if you still, need that reimage STOCK HC

Just keep pushing hehehhe seriously that's how I think it is, be persistent. If you think you had for the day do it again tonight or tomorrow just don't give up and be optimistic Yes the "flash_old" also worked for me and the "flash" didn't work for me too. I will search some K1 STOCK HC for you.

It depends. There are events w/in 10 attempts the worst is I have never counted. The problem with K1 is there are very very less developersworking, 3 to be exact who I know, to support this device. I also am hoping that someone would make an APX Flashtool like the one used for Acer A500 or attempting to manually flash each partition like the Lenovo TPT and other devices, for the worst case one I have seen in YouTube short circuit a chip. But none of those I mentioned nobody tried or worked on. Which really shows people, specially developers, are not that interested in Lenovo.
BTW, go to CM10.1 for Lenovo K1 thread ti-pich shared his HC rooted + CWM that ROM was created by Khanning just type on google search CM10.1 K1

I've already downloaded and tried all the available roms Stock ICS, Stock HC, CM10.1, JB AOSP, .... they all end with the same error. I am now on 50+ tries with the reimage.
After many more than hundred of tries I've given up all hope. The tablet goes to trash. I've tried three different computers, other USB slots and all the available ROMs with no progress whatsoever. Let's hope others will have better luck.
Sounds like a HW problem to me.
Instead of flashing a whole Rom, you can verify parts of the sdram by reading/writing them "raw".
There's the option "rawdeviceread" for nvflash which gives you access to every single 4k block of the sdram.
And there's "getpartitiontable" to read the partitiontable to find out, where the partitions are located.
I do not own an original K1, but a slightly modified german variant (P9516). It's so similar to the K1, that l can use the same ROM (kaschemme's) as you. Just the flashing is a bit different (because of the sbk).
My friend YLG80 (www.avi-plus.com) has created a nice image to show, what the partitions on my device look like ( http://www.avi-plus.com/media/kunena/attachments/211/partitions_LT-P9516.png). I think that it is pretty the same on the K1.
You can read this thread ( http://www.avi-plus.com/repair-tips.../nvflash-with-the-medion-lt-p9516-tablet.html) to get more information on this stuff.
But don't just copy/paste the commands from the thread without understanding what you're doing!
For example: for flashing the K1 you will need a sbk, but for flashing the p9516, I need a special "blob"-file.
Maybe you can "rawread" the BCT partition to see, if the blocks are at least readable.
If it works, you can try to write some zeros to the bct, to see, if it is writeable.
If that works, you can maybe write a backup of someones BCT over yours.
If you're living in germany, you can send your bricked device to me

Wow! How do you operate nvflash on CMD? I can't get the partitiontable.txt I always get an error. I also mentioned/quoted you on CM 10. 1 for K thanks
Sent from my GT-I9500 using XDA Premium HD app
In fact, there is a blob file for K1 as well. the nvflash version provided in your thread doesn't accept sbk parameter (just like all the new K1 nvflashes) but it works with the K1 blob.
Unfortunately, --getpartitiontable always ends up with "partition table is required".
Unfortunately I can't see the first command on your screenshot.
It should be something like:
nvflash --getpartitiontable partitiontable.txt --bl flash.bct --go
Not sure, if your bootloaderfile really is named "flash.bct", as I currently haven't downloaded your nvflash toolset.

bootloader file is "bootloader.bin". I moved flash.bct, flash.cfg and HC and JB bootloaders to my nvflash folder. First, I have to load the bootloader mode, then and only then can I use the --r parameter, otherwise it will freeze on [resume mode].
Looks like I'm in the same predicament as Ovecka_m2 & Kastella. My suspicion is that a bad block has developed on the tablet's internal storage (eMMC?). I've seen references to tools on better supported tablets such as the Acer A500 (search for BabSector.rar) and ASUS TF101. Has anyone considered trying to modify one of these tools to work with the K1? Otherwise, I fear that this tablet is a write-off.

Hi there!
I have bricked my phone and it is in "download" mode.
Is there a way to "bring it back" with Odin?

People still doesn't read. I said that it is bricked! Cannot install anything on.
Brgds
What do you mean by download mode? if you turn it on with vol up and down and power held, what happens?
Try put stock rom (2.3 or 2.2 depending on what was on phone before) in dload folder on sd card and it might flash firmware off that.
If you're on download mode then you can upload a recovery an boot image. Do it and use that to flash any rom you want.
I appreciate people trying to help. But sometimes it is good to stay quiet. So please, don't reply with funny suggestions.
Thanks.
Hello;
What, exactly, is "download mode"?
For someone how's in need of help, you should take it easy on the atitude and provide more info for those sparing a moment of their lives to try to help you out, no?

I am just trying to say that sometimes it is better to no reply at all.
If i said that the telephone is bricked and only in download mode you should know what does it mean before you reply. That's all. No hard feelings.
Try using a FAT32 formatted sdcard, with nothing in it but the dload folder with a stock ROM.
Couple days ago, I deleted all files from my U8800's FAT32 and EXT4 partitons - yes, even the 'image' folder, connected to my Linux box.
Because I wanted to revert to stock Froyo, i dumped back partition 5, from a backup I did some months ago - but this part is not relevant.
Formatted the card, dumped the dload folder into it, with a card reader; removed the battery and followed the procedure described in your link.
First try, it displayed some error message - can't remember - second try it showed up the pink screen, followed by the blue screen and initiated the ROM flashing. My phone is now fine and dandy... Oh, it rebooted three times after installing stock Froyo, so don't be alarmed when you get there.
Cheers
Good luck

I tried all you mentioned 30 X and more then that But no success
Btw: if you dumped back your partition from backup you had access to internal memory ... i don't have that connection neither on Ubuntu or Windows. I got pink screen but it is in "Download mode" only.
Thanks.
Can you explain me how did you get your Huawei u8800 enter in Download mode if it's a feature of some samsung smartphones to work with odin ?
You're being a little rude for those who're tryin' to help you, you should be more polite ma friend...
You didn't even say what rom were you using... so I guess you don't even deserve any help from anybody.
Peace
I've had download mode on my previous Android device - LG GT540. All it needed to enter such mode was to remove the battery, SIM and sdcard , and plug the USB cable. It would enter download mode and allow a stock ROM to be flashed with the standard LG update tool.
Actually, I dumped partition 5 back to the phone prior to erasing every file system in it, and indeed had pink screen mode access in order to do it...
Sorry it didn't work out for you.

I've installed some custom ROM and after reboot it stopped to boot in HUAWEI logo. And that was it. I have tried to install official ROM's all of them with standard methods (dload folder) but every time ends in step 2/2 (installation failed or something like that). I opened up new thread with that few weeks ago:

This thread was supposed to answer my question at the top. And some guys did. I don't know how can thread be closed by the author. I've try to find it but with no success.
I appreciate people like to help. But if people don't know what i am asking why answering and asking questions that are answered in many threads before.
You see .. this thread should be as small as possible but ends with looong explanations which doesn't help at all
Peace.

Guys,
I need your urgent assistance .. I think I have bricked my phone and need assistance.. Basically I was running the Official ICS ROM which I got from XDA website it was the LQ2 kernel for the Galaxy Note.
Last night I custom flashed the Criskelo ICS v7 ROM but wasn't too happy and wanted to go back to stock ICS .. So I went into PC Odin and flashed the stock ICS Firmware.. upon booting I went into CWM (Volume up + home+power) did a factoy reset and cache, dalvik cache wipe.. Then reboot system.. The phone was stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Note screen .. So I tried to Flash the Stock ICS LQ2 rom again via PC Odin and now it just hangs almost at 90% at factoryfs.img?
Am I completely messed up or is there a way to resolve this please can you guys assist me in what I must do.. I don't know if this is a soft or super brick..
Many Thanks..
PS: I even did the PIT file thing and still no joy
you custom flashed??
what do u mean u custom flashed??
Get a rom with bootloader in it. Don t use repartition. Make sure you flash the bootloader.
Sounds like you wiped from a stock Samsung kernel, which is a big no no. The only way to fix this is to repartition your phone with a .pit file that has been designed not to use the the corrupted sectors of your internal storage. If you search hard enough, you'll find a thread about it. I successfully recovered a phone I bricked way back with the first LP1 ICS kernel. It does work! You'll lose some space though.

Thanks for your help guys .. followed the german dudes tutorial and downloaded the .PIT file and managed to re flash stock ICS .. Now the only issue is my internal memory is showing 8.24 GB.. what happened to the other approx 8GB? I thought the Note was 16GB? Before windows used to show it as 11GB but now showing 8.24 GB is there a fix for this or is the bad or do I have to live with it.. ?
read the whole tut again it tells you why since you have to move partition tables.
Yes...it's a rather small deal anyway...there are 64gb SD card after all.

My advice is "live with it". Coz what the "German dudes" pit files do is avoid the "locked" sectors in your internal card. While you can try different pit files or try create new partitions via adb -- you probably wont gain much.
Or you could send it to Sammy for a warranty claim, after resetting the flash counter and then bricking it again via odin using the original pit file. Basically what you need to do is erase all evidence that u tampered with it. This is a risky option... (You can tell them phone got messed up in kies upgrade). This happened to me (on an almost new note, so i kinda did the same, except that i went a step further and deleted the boot-loader as well = hard brick. However i dont recommend it). And they replaced the phone.
I emphasize again this is risky -- and do more research before if you do this.
Problem as of now is since you've modified the pit -- and also the phone is working, you cant claim now.

Its Forest1971 who first wrote this workaround and it was hg42 who rewrote the pit file and it was Dr null who proposed this way, Its all XDA members who helped you out of this brick. Not some German sites. Google throws up German results first

hi! i was in the same state as you! now, listen very carefully. Now, all you have to do is to use another PC and run ordin. Everything should work fine! My note was soft-bricked yesterday night and i had tried endless counts of tries just to get it up and running. Just earlier today,I saw someone who posted a comment in a similar forum and suggested that you should try a different PC it worked. AND IT worked for me now, just use this pit file that i had upload and download any (G-N7000)stock firmware that has (code.md5, modem.md5 and csc.md5). just place the pit file in ordin. ( do note you will lose 3gb of your internal memory) and click start hopefully it worked for you

Not necessary to use the 3gb regain patch.
There's a 1gb or 2gb regain patch also. And it's enough.

Though so many ppl told u alrd, i just want to say, in any case, when u r in ICS alrd, it is totally prohibited to do factory reset through CWM with samsung ICS original kernel.
When u need to wipe or factory reset, make sure u r on a safe kernel like speedmod or notecore.
If u want to recover ur note, just use the pit file method. It works.
Make sure u use the correct patch of 16gb or 32gb, depends on ur note.
Always try from the smallest patch, so u won't loose so many storage.
Anyway, latest CriskeloROm with speedmod is the best for battery life nd performance.

So we dont need 3 files ROM?
The Core Prime will not boot into recovery, or safe mode, or to the home screen. The only way to sometimes get it into download mode is leave it plugged into the wall charger for a couple minutes, then it will SOMETIMES go into download mode to charge. Holding down every combination of keys does not work, please don't suggest holding down keys.
All I ever see is a mmc confirmation fail movinand checksum confirmation fail error no matter what I try. I never see the Samsung intro, boot intro, or tracfone intro anymore, just a black screen that leads to that error message in red letters.
Regardless of which computer or cable I use, Windows never sees the phone. Doesn't try to install the drivers, doesn't make a sound that something was plugged in, nothing shows up in device manager, nothing (even in download mode)
I called 800 Samsung (4 times asking the same thing to different people to make sure I didn't just get helped by a noob over the phone). I went and talked to the Samsung guys inside worst buy (didn't do anything except informing me there is a Samsung store in LA). I called the Samsung store in LA and talked to a technician and the technician supervisor (I could drive there if their answer wasn't factory reset)
But EVERYONE from Samsung is saying all that can be done is factory reset.
I do not need a factory reset. I need my data.
I have posted numerous threads, and even though there was good advice given, none of it worked.
All I did before this error was try to update Google maps. The phone has never been backed up/rooted/nothing its stock.
At this point, I'm willing to negotiate paying someone to get my data back.
Someone please help.
Sorry To Hear that this is really a big problem but every thing has a solution ..
As you say the windows doesn't read the device and so as Odin try http://tinyurl.com/Heimdall-oa on Linux (don't use virtual machine )
OK if Heimdall read the device flash stock firmware (same version) if the device open congratulations
else flash custom recovery (you can find one in cyanogen discussion) and launch aroma file manager pull out your data so you're safe to reset ?? hope to be helped you .

I will post my results here as soon as I try
If your phone is still stuck, flash TWRP (google it if you don't know it) for s820l. After TWRP is installed backup your data to your Internal or External Storage. Once the backup is complete factory reset (I highly suggest bakcking up to an SD card) if it still only boots to this screen try flashing the Stock ROM.
If your phone is messed up after the factory reset, i suggest SD card for files and everything if your computer has an SD adapter and reader you won't need to turn the device on. Hopefully this fixes it for you.
P.S. By no means do I know exactly what I'm doing, I flashed the wrong TWRP for mine and only got a download screen. This is the method i used to fix it. Also i am not allowed to post links or I would. so google sm-s820l custom recovery and to get a Stock ROM. Above the page for it should be a bunch of tabs that look like this " Android Area 51 > Forum > Straight Talk/Net10 > Samsung Phones > Samsung Galaxy Core Prime > Recovery Releases" Click on Samsung GCP and then your all set. Hope this helps.

True so if it's not the SM-S820L just input your model number instead of the one I posted that was my bad I assumed TracFone. Also don't think just because the phone is the same they will all work if you do use the wrong TWRP or ROM because the model is different it will brick your device. Again it was my mistake but overall I hope this helps.

Never mind i just wanted to share info. + mine reply was before twrp or cwm being ported to core prime ,and at this time no custom roms for 360* Models
Is TWRP ported to other versions of this phone? It seems like it is atleast the VE one has it and my TracFone version does I'm sure most of the others ones do and you also do not need a Custom ROM just a stock one which is probably floating around out there somewhere. For the OPs phone which if the model was posted this would be a billion times easier. So Mr. OP please post your model for us to help if your issue is still happening.
G360 Rom

Hello there!
So, I'm using Zenfone 5 (2G) Running on Official Lolipop
I had my phone bootlooped back in that time, then I flashed a wrong recovery version, it was KitKat version that I flashed, I got into Recovery Mode.
I tried to sideload update packages (both KitKat and Lolipop ROM) and it showed me some error like can't mount /cache (invalid arguments), I expected this as losing partition (If I'm not wrong)
And now I can't even get into droidboot at all, here is the responds from following things I do :
Recovery button combination : Works (Gets to the recovery)
Power button : Shows USB logo
Droidboot button combination : Shows manufacturer logo forever (Stuck)
But, as I said, I tried to sideload the packs and it fails...
Could someone help me? Maybe some easy way to fix this? For a note, I tried bunch of tutorials to fix my device, the last one was xFSTK thing.. I followed every single step correctly and ended up with an error.
Thanks before

Try this:
Download a flashable custom rom, put the rom *.zip file in the same folder with ADB.
Go into recovery TWRP, connect your phone to your computer.
Push rom *.zip file to your phone's internal storage with this command in ADB:
push [file.zip] /sdcard/.
Then flash that rom file with TWRP.
Well, sir, how can I get into TWRP? I can't even droidboot... My recovery that I flashed was stock
deleted.

Basicly the procedure to debrick is same. You need to load bootloader temporary since you have a broken droidboot including your partition. I already have same problem with you before.
Yeah its different, you cant use ww to fix this. Find on official zentalk tw forum for complete detail. Shakalaca post that.

Thanks a lot!
Anyway, I've got few questions left..
Yesterday, I did download zip files from this debrick thread (Should be familiar with you) http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/help/debrick-asus-zenfoen-5-fastboot-t3377455
My question is, does this work the same as your files? And, could I do something about it? Like re-use by recycle again the files I've downloaded with something that might help my phone? You know.. 900 MB is not something very small for me.. And maybe I could download separated files that is required.. And make the use of Debrick files I downloaded?
And.. May I have the link of Shakalaca's post, if you don't mind? Thanks a lot, like a lot!

Hey um, I followed the Debrick one. The problem comes when I ran Debrick.dat, from the Cloverview mode (Press vol down and connect to pc). While the Debrick program runs, the phone "boots". Shows up USB logo and it goes red. Few seconds after then, the program closes, leaves the phone on red USB logo. Is this something normal?
Btw that link can't help.

Didn't you try reboot from bootloader. If it solves, it means normal. You must thank to intel for this problem.

Hey um, I have contacted Shakalaca and until today I have not retrieved any reply. This problem haven't been solved. Any idea? I see you know a lot about this, and you're very popular arround here.
This happened with my Asus Zenfone 5 (T00j). Tried every solution available on net without sucess, finally took it to Service Center and they had to replace the motherboard
Hello
I have a Lenovo Tab 3 A8 (TB3-850M) that is bricked. I tried to reflash Stock ROM but it still doesn't boot.
When I do a Memory test everything is fine except
"NAND Flash not found"
"UFS Not Found"
I have read about these errors but I didn't get it working.
Hope to see your help soon!

I may be able to help if you answer the following:
Did the problem start with flashing stock ROM, or did you flash to try to fix existing problem? If preexisting, did it occur with normal use, or while doing any modding?
Did you possibly delete any critical partitions using sp flash tool? Eg, did you use format function?
Nb. I monitor the main TB3-850F threads where you previously posted, but won't know you've replied here unless you mention me or reply using my handle in quote. PW
Hello I actually found out that the device had a corrupt nand/emmc and I can't fix it. So I basicly party it out, sold the parts and threw the rest in the trash
