By bl version it is meant the version of code group 39(cg39) which is 7 in this case. Bl9.10 is for everyone as it is shown in the program menu

[Q] What is the best SBF for Motorola Defy Green Lens

I have a Motorola Defy Green Lens and I cannot root it using superoneclick 2.3.3--it just goes to NOT RESPONDING when I click on ROOT. I may have used the wrong SBF for my defy. So can any one please help me find the correct SBF for my device so I can root it and use roms like cm7, cm9 and miui? Please... Help....

Have you used droid3root?
Have a Google and you'll find it.
I'm on 2.3.4 and I use something called Pete's Motorola Root Tools

Pete's motorola tools worked! I managed to get CM9 but the led is too dim now, would that be because of the chinese SBF that I flashed? Thanks!!!!!

[Q] cant flash any sbf no m logo just bootlader with code corrupt

hi all i hope someone can help i have read other threads and tried the solutions but to no avail i have a defy and tried flashing it with a stock rom due to missing android files i got the phone off ebay, i am now in a position where when i turn on there is no m logo just straight to bootloader 09.10 with code corrupt and rsd wont succesfully flash any files to it i am severlyt atuck any help really appreciated.

What sbf did you flash?

also i tried quite a few different sbf

Search for this thread called defy bl7 root, it will have the links(there are two such threads, use the one with faster mediafire links)

still no joy im having a nightmare i keep having to mvgyver which works ok, but rsd wont recognise my phone i have only bootloader no m logo or anything everytime i try flash im getting groupsum errors n fail ive tried all thr sbf mentioned in threads im so so stuck id pay someone to flash n sort it at this rate

If your getting checksum errors then all you can do is try another pc or cable, if it doesn't work then I'm not aware of any software means to revive the phone

[q] sbf root

Can somebody post a working link to the SBF files? I would like to downgrade and root, cant seem to find a working link. Placing the zip file on the card with a manual update with stock recovery gives me an error message. Help...
