Phone battery issues - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Recently my phone has been showing wrong battery info, I figured it was the new build of the rom I flashed. My phone would shut down randomly with the battery level anywhere from 25% to 35%.
I've tried to recalibrate the battery and it did not help. I restored to a previous nandroid backup still doing the same thing. I have read that nexus 4 has had these problems but did not come to any conclusion.
This is a pic of what I mean with my battery

Likely just a glitch. If the phone works fine just chalk it up to that.

Yeah it's happened to me a couple of times over the years after a full battery cycle it should be fine.

Sorry, accidentally sent.
I also meant to upload this:
And this which is a screenshot of a wake lock detector:
Does anyone know what 1013 is? And why is it keeping my phone awake?
Thanks,
Lachlan

Battery life in recovery

This seems to happen often whenever I boot into recovery mode, just wondering if anyone knows why.

Not really sure either. Most likely the battery stats aren't tracked when in recovery. So when you reboot to system it shows a sudden drop?

Could recovery really be using that much battery? All I do in it is flash a few files and I reboot, usually done in 5 minutes.

[HELP] kernel and android system draining too much battery!

I left my phone at 83% before going to sleep. When I woke up, it was only 72%. I can't seem to find the culprit. BBS also shows about 2 hours difference between screen on time and device awake.

Here you can see what my battery drain is like. My screen on time isn't bad but the other is.

Now turning "Knock-on" feature off and gonna see how it goes

Battery change

So I did a battery change and it went well but am having one issue. Not sure if it's because the battery is calibrating but sometimes when I'm using my phone, it just turns off. Like just off without any warning. And to turn it back on, and I have to hold the power button for about 30+ seconds. Anyone that changed their battery experience this. I got a brand new battery that was manufactured in the end of November last year compared to the original that was manufactured in the beginning of September.

Happened 3 times already. And when it dies, battery goes all the way down and as it sits still the beer meter goes up
