How do I set the alarm to vibrate? On 3 different alarm clock apps I tested them and it doesn't work. In every app I set it to " vibrate" But the phone doesn't vibrate.Does something have to be switched in the phone settings?

Okay, I am facing a weird bug. In the past I needed an alarm for early morning, so I set one on my phone. It served me well. However, now I don't need the alarm so I deleted it. But, the alarm still goes off.
The odd thing is no alarm is listed in the alarm app
Help please?
Check your calendar application. Maybe you set it as a recurring alarm?
I did set it as a daily reoccurring alarm but once I deleted it, it should be gone, no?
(Nothing in calendar.)
Is there a way to have an alarm sound when setting appointments or reminders using the Calender? For some reason I only get a beep or the prelisted alternative one beep sound when I get a Calender notification. I would have preferred a more 'alarm-like' feature. Even the beep is turned off if I decided to put my phone in silent mode. That is stupid. The alarm clock is set to go off even in silent mode why can't the calendar notification do the same? What's the point?
If there is no way to rectify this issue is there another calendar that as the alternative to set an alarm; single or continuous be recommended by someone please?
I only use the Voice Commands for setting alarms and timers, and coming from the Iphone, I am kind of missing Siri. Other than that, this SG4 is hands down awesome!
-issue1-
*With S Voice I say "set alarm 8am" S-voice correctly interprets then asks me "do you want me to save your alarm for 8AM?", I say "yes" please set the alarm already! (My buddy has the GS3 and he doesn't get that second voice confirmation, what gives?)
*Google Now I say "set alarm 8am" she correctly interprets and sets the alarm for 8am without a second confirmation ( I can deal with that).
*Siri, I say "set alarm 8am", she correctly interprets and asks me do you want me to set the alarm for 8am, I can wait for the beep and say "yes" or I can push the button rather than waiting for the voice to prompt for an answer.
Issue 2-
-No matter how I set the alarm, using S-Voice or Google Now, once the alarm is set on my default clock app, it is default with the snooze option turned off. I work nights and set my alarms at different times to wake up, and I always use snooze. This is a deal breaker, so I download Alarm clock pro. But only Google Now will let me use that as the default clock, S-Voice will only set the alarm on the default clock app Grrr.. (Ok, so I use Google Now to set alarms on alarm clock pro, I can deal with that)
Issue 3-
-Timers, I use them a lot, "set timer 30 minutes" And this is the real irritant, If I use Google Now, it will just set an alarm (not the timer) for 30 minutes from now and eventually clutter up my alarms. If I use S-Voice, she will set the timer in the same manner as the alarm clock with the second verbal confirmation which would be OK, if I could just press yes, set the timer, rather than being forced to give it that second verbal command.
So basically, to set alarms, I use Google Now and alarm clock pro, and to set timers I use S-Voice and the default clock app. Is this my best option? Can I have it my way and use just one or the other? What if I root my phone, are there any tweaks for what I want to make this work the way I want it to work? Preferably I would like to use S Voice because of the double tap home button to access. Can I set up the double tap home screen to default to Google Now, or somehow teach Google now, that when I say set timer, I want you to set the timer and not the alarm clock? Anyways, any advice is appreciated.
Hi,
I bought Samsung Galaxy s4 a week back. I found a bug in alarm clock. I set alarm time and enabled repeat weekly option as well. Now the problem is, If I get any alert on my phone like SMS or mail, I cannot change the alarm tone until I switch OFF and switch ON the device. Even after switching it ON, if I get any alert before I change alarm tone, the alarm tone list displayed keeps flickering forever. Also, I cannot STOP or SNOOZE when alarm is ringing. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I did a software update and my device's software is up to date.
Any help in this regards is appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
Sudhakar.
have you tried simply clearing out the cache and or data on the clock app and then restarting the app and reset your alarm to how you want it? if not do so and see where that lands you.
Does anyone know which application displays an alarm notification that alternates between an eye and a snooze icon. (see attached image)
I have no idea where it is getting set -but at least two times a day (at the same times) it goes off.
Thanks
You set an alarm on the watch at some point. It's not linked to any phone app. Tap the watch face to bring up the google now prompt, then scroll down to alarms, you can delete them from there.

Yup. When you set an alarm using the watch (usually via a spoken command like "Set alarm for 2pm"), it sets a repeating alarm on just the watch (not on the phone). You have to open the watch's alarm app and deleting them off the watch.
Just an FYI - if you use the timer feature of the watch (ie "Set timer for 95 min"), it does not set a repeating alarm, but alerts you in the same manner as an alarm would.
