In my office there is a network which uses WPA2 Enterprise + AES + TLS . All the laptops that have the required certificates installed are connecting but when i try to connect using the same certificates from android it is not connecting . Any solution?
Steps:
1.Laptops Use .pem certificate , converted it into .crt using

2.Installed the above CA Certificate and User Certificate that the laptop uses in my phone .
3.Connection Settings :
Security :802.1x EAP (Not Editable)
EAP Method : TLS
CA Certificate : Selected the previously installed CA.crt
User Certificate : Selected the user certificate installed
Identity:
4.Tried to Connect .
The laptop settings are
Security Type : WPA2 - Enterprise
Encryption Type : AES
Authentication Mode : Microsoft : Smart Card or other Certificate

Hi,
We r implementing IKEv2 in Windows Mobile 5.0.
As part of its impl, we need to estbalish IPsec connection after the Session Keys are computed.
Can anyone let me know, how to Add / Deleted Security Associations for IPsec tunnel ( ESP / AH ) in Windows using "IPsec built-in driver" ??? (ipsec.dll)
Note: In WM 5.0, IPsec is not a separate module as such. It will be used in co-ordination with L2TP for estbalishing VPN Connection. ( Here IKEv1 is used ).
Thanks,
Kumar

Hey guys,
I have a problem with the wifi connection on my phone. For some reason, it cannot connect to the school network.
https://sara.morehead-st.edu/ <--- this is the link for some requirements and where I have to download the root certificate they provide.
I try to connect, and I get a dialog asking for my username and password and I put it in but then I get "Unable to connect, connection requires a certificate to connect."
Here are what it says I must have:
Requirements
* Wireless LAN adapter with current drivers capable of:
o either 802.11a, 802.11b and/or 802.11g
o WPA/WPA2 (Wireless Protected Access)
o TKIP (Temporal Key Intergrity Protocol)
o PEAP (Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol)
MSChapV2 (Microsoft version 2 of Chap)
-OR-
EAP-TTLS
o IEEE 802.1x protocol
* Operating Systems:
o Windows XP
o Windows Vista
o Apple Mac OS X (10.3 or later)
o Windows Mobile 2003SE or later
o Linux or *BSD with suitable supplicant
* User Information:
o valid MSU Id
o valid Web PIN
o trusted root certificate
(see step-by-step guides)

Edit: Also, do you guys know how I can get the program to trim music files? I used to be able to do it in either Windows Media Player or Audio Manager, but I can't find the feature anymore.
Ask your IT guy to export the root certificate as a .cer file for you and copy it to your PDA, it should install if you just click on it. Then go to system>certificates and the personal tab, the new certificate should be in there.
If you tap on the name it should give details of the cert. Click ok and go to root tab and the cert should be in there.
Hey,
The root.cer file actually does fine. It says "Certificate accepted" and what-not and then I can also click on connect and get the dialog asking for my username and password. For some reason after that it just won't work. Like it just says connecting and then eventually tries another connection.
The phone does support this system and has all the right things right?
Is there any programs that help with connections or increases options of your connection?
Please guys
I am unable to browse anything when in class
please help i can not connect
i select WPA -> AES
then PEAP
i need to click PEAP Properties and select Server Certificate and check GTE CyberTrust Global Root
but when i click Properties it says
"Can not log on to the wireless network. this requires a personal certificate to positively identify you"
if someone knows please answer at this topic:

Are you sure that you've got the correct key?
When I've had that problem it was that the key was wrong.
