same probleme here.any idea for windows flashing?
i just got and LG like 2 weeks Ago and i have read a lot about a russian Rom.
anyway i wanna know
i had read that i need first unlock bootloader to install the CWM.
but i have read
E612: Download 'Unlocked_bootloader_17-02-2013.rar' attached from here (made by chacha_ivanov)
E612G: I think these are carrier specific version of E612. You can try the unlock for E612, but it may result in a boot-loop or random reboots

i don't wanna get on a boot loop or random reboot because we all know that will be annoying in the middle of a song and surprise R-boot
will love some help ty
We need more info. Which phone do you got? E610,12 or 12g/f.

OK, first dont be panic. Be calm.
Please provide link or PDA version here.
I think you have installed different location PDA.
Explain your self better.
@123hiten: buddy, but system status is still custom. I think he has plugged out the mobile before installation fully.

That is fine my friend just a matter of time there are many things I too donno and take my other expert help
And ya i also can't say exactly what cud have caused bootloop may be some bad files £ apps etc
It won't be under clocking as u did stock flash and was stuck so device was trying to boot in new os u installed
May be something u removed after rooting could have caused boot loop

Yes, mate! I actually using no bloatware app to
Remove those many apps that actually safe to remove
But the boot loop when we turn off the phone ourselves
and when turn it back, it stuck seems no way to pass samsung logo. Maybe I underclocked the phone and it causing the phone to fail to boot past?? I am right or not

No you don't have to its already unlocked
Unlike sony
Just flash a kernel with all the feature u need and done
Infact there is a kernel with all that feature called perseus but still on alpha and some bugs are there have to wait for some more days that will be one of the best kernel

Ohh thanks, I will be patient no problem good news
That Samsung phones are comes with unlocked
boot loader, very good
Yeah its pretty hard to modify Sony you need to
unlock bootloader first before using other kernels
That process caused my little old device hard brick one time.
and thats why I am afraid with my new S4 although they are different device

Yeah, very hard process, but I hope its easy in my S4 since it was factory unlocked
and I can install whatever with confidence. .
because now I know the basic how to use odin
And flash and use recovery.
Thanks for your help for teaching me.
It's there's any case of possible hard brick in S4?

Yeah, thanks mate I will research for more.
First of all I need to root again.
Thanks.
Bootloops are mainly caused by system files interfering with each others which cause instability and/or crash at the boot sequence. :good:

Does anyone know what's the cause of this? I built Omni yesterday and it was fine, but I tried to flash another one I built today and that's what it tells me followed by the phone getting stuck during the bootanimation when the logo turns fully green. And, the thing is that I checked the zip and there is a file_contexts.

The file_context warning has nothing to do with you not being able to build. See if you can get a logcat to see what is going on.

No no, you misunderstood. I can build fine, but I can't boot.
I saw the same warning, with no apparent ill effect, on these I just flashed:
omni-4.3.0-20131020-i9300-HOMEMADE
omni-4.3.0-20131022-m7ul-HOMEMADE
HTC One and GS3 seem to be running fine.

Sorry that was a typo, I ment boot (auto correct is a pain sometimes).
But getting a logcat (if you get that far in the boot process) can help in diagnosing the problem.

[NO file_context ] problem with OmniRom 4.4.2
my phone is N7000 .. and i downloaded omnirom 4.4.2 from the site and paste it into the sd ,, when i make a flash to this rom .. a message appear to me
WARNING : no file_context
plz help me :-/
I think its the issue of that particular nightly build. I too had the same experience. So I flashed with another nightly and it works fine. After this error I changed to stock ROM but the flash counter didn't reset to 0. I tried to flash 3 times and now the counter is showing as 3. Can anyone advise me to reset it
