Hi, I restored my Nexus 4 from a full TWRP backup that I did some time ago.
The restore worked except that now I don't have wifi (wifi doesn't turn on when I select it in the settings) and there is no audio. Is there something I can do to fix this?
Thank you

Good day,
I joined a ship and now I am sailing for 5 months here. The problem is that we have wifi internet on board and my s4 has detection only 2-3 meters away from routers. All other devices around are working, smartphones and notebooks. Anybody knows a workaround? I went to service 2 times until now for different problems, but now I cannot go anymore for the next 5 months.
Now I have Omega rom but I want to try to reinstall stock rom via odin. My question is: If I clean format from philz restore to install new rom, it will delete everything on the phone, then with a nandroid backup from recovery and copied everything from data/media/0 can I restore it as it was before.
Note that my internet connection is very bad, worse than dial-up.
Thank you in advance!
Hi all,
when I installed Android 4.4.2 with the factory image on my Nexus 4 (full wipe, no root, custom recovery) everything was working flawless... but after two week tether stopped to work. When I try to enable it, the phone report an error and also wifi stops to work until next reboot.
Then I found this issue into AOSP Issue Tracker and the solution proposed works! :victory:
I simply rooted my device and by deleting /data/misc/wifi directory, after a reboot, the problem is solved (losing all wifi settings). Since I wasn't able to find the same solution here on XDA I want to share the information!
Last night my phone started acting up on the recently flashed official CM13 nightly 25-3. So I tried to restore my nandroid backup of the CM12.1 version but got stuck in a bootloop. I manually reflashed CM13 but can't get internet through wifi or cellular data, wifi is off and keeps displaying "Turning on wifi" with a grayed out toggle in the on position, Data is on but there is no H or LTE displayed next to my signal. Calling and texting work fine though.
I tried going back to stock Cyanogen OS with the windows toolkit but still the same issue. Installed Chroma kernel and flashed the Marshmellow firmware but still no fix.
Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?
Edit: Data works now, it was an APN issue. Still no wifi though. And apparently Bluetooth isn't working either
My buddy got this phone for his gf so that she could use it overseas. The phone was in bad shape when he got it and I was able to to flash a custom rom Phonesis and it seemed to work fine. Out of the blue, the wifi and bluetooth stopped responding. So I now have this phone again and I am about ready to toss it.
I restored to factory using Kies 3.2. When it rebooted, the soft keys did not work. I installed the idlekernal for canadian models using Odin and that fixed that. Soft keys now work. Camera is not working. Wifi will not turn on. If it does, it sees my networks but will not allow it to connect. Bluetooth does the same thing.
I am not sure what I am missing as the phone has been restored twice and I have cleared the cache, reset everything and rebooted.
Does anyone have any recommendations or can recommend a working recovery and rom that will let her use the camera and wifi.
Flash correct stock rom through Odin.

Hi everyone!
The day before yesterday I installed the new OP5 Android 10 beta 1, but I could it was not working as I liked (it's normal, it's a beta and they to optimize everything OFC...)
The thing is when I nandroid restored and I started the old system, everything looked fine and working
But Today I noticed the Wifi switch is not working.. If I try to turn it on, they come back to off
I was thinking, but I'm not sure about this.. maybe the new beta reallocate vendor partitions and now is unable to find the wifi driver (I'm not sure, just a theory)
Did you have the same problem? Did you fix it? How can I do it?
I try to record a log.. it's attached
